This Starbucks always has a line at the drive thru but, it usually moves pretty FAST! We also pass by this location during OFF HOURS so there's usually not a lot of people when we stop by... DRIVE THRU: Service is always friendly and the drinks are very consistent here. Sometimes the drive thru beats the line inside the store... AMBIANCE: Bright and open air. This is our neighborhood coffee shop. We love the atmosphere and the barristas. It is uncommon for Starbucks to have such a nice shop. People tend to linger more in this shop to meet with friends, couples are comming and chatting after walks. The coffee is good and the bartistas are more experienced which I appreciate. I'm happy to share my experience with the Rancho California/Meadows Starbucks. This has been my wife's and my main Starbucks in Temecula, and we love coming here. The staff is always positive, accommodating, and exactly who you want to see when picking up coffee first thing in the morning. Being in a busy residential area, it does get crowded, but ordering through the app helps a lot. My only small reservation is that the prices here are slightly higher than the Starbucks about a mile away. That said, my seasonal cold brew with extra cream is always consistent and made correctly. I know there is literally a Starbucks around every corner, but this one felt uniquely special. Waiting for our drinks, they had a wall with a bunch of their crew members baby and childhood photos. One of the baristas saw us looking and told us to try to guess who was who. On another walk, they had the store's purpose and each crew member shared their own personal purpose. So happy to hear that Starbucks, located at the intersection of Rancho California and Margarita in Temecula, opened in 2021 as it is now only a little over 5 minutes to get coffee from home. The staff here are all very friendly and they will take time to open up a conversation and ask how I would start my day. Parking is a little tight and the drive-through is narrow which can be problematic for the other cars parked in the vicinity during rush hour. Gladly, the staff are efficient and will have the drink ready in less than 10 minutes tops on a busy day. Starbucks started offering the pistachio latte in Fall 2021 and boy I was quickly hooked being it is my favorite tree nut after the cashew. Sadly, they stopped making the drink after Winter. Hoping to see the pistachio flavor again this coming fall. read more

After experiencing the sh*t that is my nearest Starbucks at home, I don't really understand how this location could get anything less than four stars. This location is always the busiest and cleanest I have ever seen a regular Starbucks. It's larger than the one near my apartment in Downtown San Jose (near the light rail), and I don't know how it's busier. Probably because the one near me sucks. Their food and merchandise are always stocked, and the store as a whole is very pleasant to be in. It is easy to spend hours doing work here. The employees seem to love working here, or at least have such high quality of customer service that they are amazing at hiding any other feelings. It's likely thanks to one of their managers, Carol, who is one of the sweetest people I've ever met. I don't know if it was her decision, but I noticed that this location closed at 1:30pm on Christmas Eve, while other locations were open until 7pm. I've never had a bad drink from here, either. The beans were never burnt, and each drink tasted vastly different from the last. I love the toppings they sprinkle on top for the holiday drinks, too. I never feel great about spending money on coffee drinks, but at least I feel substantially less crappy about doing so here. I plan to come here whenever I crave a holiday drink (and maybe even after the holidays). read more

The cashier took my cup and walked away and I asked her about my name.....she said oh yeah don't know where my head is today. I was probably four feet from the order pick up area.....and after waiting over five minutes and not seeing any activity I walked up and asked about my drink. They told me yeah we called you it's right here Paul.....asked who is Paul? The latter was Luke warm at best so I asked them to please make another which they did with an attitude. While I was waiting I had been watching the staff and they seemed to be some where else.....Definitely not and an A game day. Not a bad location with nicely spaced out tables inside. Tends to be warmer in this part of town especially during summer so the a/c is much appreciated here. Baristas seem alright . My iced coffee (unsweetened) is a bit strong but what else is new when you get it at SB right . Maybe the free refill (with card) will taste better . Self service ice water at pick up station. Not Open when it says it is! Tired of placing AND paying for mobile orders, pulling up then seeing they're closed. Then I have to take more time from my day to call and get my money back. All while never getting to enjoy a drink on my commute. Starbucks needs to counsel this district manager and stores. I've notified them multiple times regarding this issue at another location. It seems the stores in this district open and close when they feel like it because their posted hours and mobile ordering says they're open but they're not! I can't believe it's taken me SO long to write this review! This past February I took my daughter in for her first hot chocolate, she was so excited to order and receive her mini cup but on the walk outside tragedy struck and she dropped her cocoa. We went back in to purchase a new chocolate with tears in her eyes she told the cashier what happened. The awesome staff made her a new drink on the house and the barista ( tall male with a small pony tail) drizzled a chocolate heart on the whipped cream for her. This MADE her day. Like most people in civilized society, I live fairly close to a Starbucks Coffee house. I do, however, live in between two and this was my first visit to this establishment. I walked in at about 745p and there were 2 adults and 2 kids inside, enjoying their beverages. I was of course greeted immediately and had to wait no time to place my order. It took about 2 minutes for the entire transaction to take place and my drink was scalding hot...just like I like it! This is definitely a great spot to catch up on some homework or reading if you can't take doing those things at home. The place closes at 9p and there is outdoor seating available.
