This is the starbucks near my house, I come here a lot. however, i'm not fond of it since the seating area is always full and the layout sucks. the Batista did made a few time mistake on my drinks, but I never bother go back and ask them to remake since the wait is sometimes long. I am an internet person so I always get my coupons from online. this one time I got a free tall drink on my phone and the store in South Coast Plaza gave me the drink for it without questioning me. and a few days later I got another offer through email, when I went to this store, the girl said they don't give any drink unless it's the hard copy coupon....... @@ I think she lives in stone age or something. anyway, this is a below avg. starbucks store for me. but I have to come here often since it's just so close to my house. The shift manager has some poor attitude, I try to ask her for a cup of ice for my coffee she simply walk in front of me after calling some other customer food order she goes back to her coworker continues talking and pretend didn't see me. Great drinks, great food and great service! I come here from time to time and it is always a wonderful experience. Came today with my mom. She had an iced mocha frappucino and a ham and cheese croissant. I had their coffee of the day (so good) and an egg white, spinach and feta wrap. All was delicious! We sat inside and it was lovely. Besides the problem with parking I just had the most pleasant experience at this Starbucks location. The staff is exceptional.

The atmosphere is almost tolerable. The loud music drowns out any conversation one might try to have. I guess they feel that being at a rock concert is how they want their customers to feel. Starbucks is no longer a place to sit and relax while enjoying a beverage or snack. It's certainly not a place to relax due to the loud music. McDonalds is a much more peaceful place to relax, sadly. read more

Small, parking is tight, temperature inside is either too cold/too hot and they can't do anything about it lol. This Starbucks is located in the corner of the Las Tunas and Rosemead intersection right in the TJ-Maxx plaza. One advantage of this location is that you can literally see all of Starbucks and guess whether it is crowded at the time. However, as you can probably guess, since you can see all of it in one glance, the seating is extremely limited. Coffee sippers can feel free to gaze at cars in the distance if they are bored. The drinks are average, but the people working the barista are friendly. =) read more

this is my second time here...I came to study with my friends. the first time it was midterm season, so there were no seats...we just used chairs with no tables... around closing time, they brought over samples to try...yay the second time wasn't so crowded...we were able to find a table. I usually using my Starbucks app to order drinks from this place, so I don't need to wait in long line. I can't judge the service cause every time I just order then get my drink and gone. The drink is good as other Starbucks location. I like to come here because it's the most nearest location. I will continue coming to buy drinks. My favorite drinks are green tea frap and green tea latte. Really recommend these two to people who love green tea flavor. Also, I grow my love with vanilla bean frap recently. read more

Of all the Starbucks locations I have visited , I go to the one in Temple City the most. Starbucks has become part of our routine for quick fix of caffeine, small bites, and a place to meet up with friends. The place in Temple City is close to where I live and it has a nice and attentive staffs that greet u at the counter. What I experienced this morning was out of character; in term of its staff service. As usual I stood in line and waited for my turn for service. I didn't have to wait long since I was the second person in line. I approached a service staff named Andrea (no greeting or smiling), told her what I wanted and she rang up the register with a total amount close to $9. I gave her a $100 bill. I know this is very unusual of me but I just came to the store straight from gym carrying only my driver license, car keys, and this $100 bill. Andrea gave me an annoying look on her face and said "I don't have changes for a $100" and she looked as if I presented her with a huge problem and it is me who have to deal with it. I said to her at that moment "I'm sure you have some small changes somewhere?". She said "I'm sorry, but if I give u the changes I won't have any changes left for other customers". At this point , she sounded like I'm not the customer, worse than that she made me feel like I'm the problem and was annoying that I was holding up the line; there was no one behind me at the time. I told her that I only have that $100 bill and no credit card with me. She asked me to go somewhere to get the smaller changes and come back to finish the purchases. At this point, I feel like I wasn't belong here and was thinking about cancel the purchase and head home. But I had promised my daughter to bring home the lemon cake and Madeleine. So I gave her one more push and said to her "can you ask your manager to help me break the changes? I'm sure you have a safe somewhere here in the store ". And this is how she replied "it's not my job and I'm not allow to accept any bills larger than $100" . At this point I think Andrea wasn't here to help me exactly, so I have to find out a way to help both of us. I turned to a customer in store for changes of a $100 . Luckily that customer had with her a bunch of $20 bills and willing to give me in exchange for the $100. Problem solved. Andrea didn't give me a receipt for the purchase, I have to stand in line a gain to ask for it. Andrea didn't even say thanks to the other customer who was nice enough to do the changes for us. She didn't even care. There are other coffee stores around town, maybe I should give them a try. A place that treats me like a customer instead of a problem. Starbucks is afraid of a 100 buck. Im not reviewing the coffee because we all know what we're getting when we go to a starbucks. Mediocre CONVENIENT coffee. This review is about the employees. The baristas always have a smile and at least try to have light conversation with customers in the early morning. Now, theres one particular girl that works the register in the early morning shifts (6-10am) she never wears a name badge and I'm sure its for good reason too. This girl has a really bad attitude and is pretty snarky with customers. Shes gotten my order wrong multiple times and when i tell her she rolls her eyes and acts like shes doing me a favor by correcting HER mistake. I normally don't leave bad reviews but i had to leave this one. If you want bad vibes in your early morning then come to this Starbucks. Im definitely not ever coming back to this store. read more

Don't mobile order your breakfast sandwich. Because they will store your order near the sink and you will get a soggy mess of "sandwich".

Firstly, nobody told me they don't have bananas when I ordered a smoothie. And before they started to make the smoothie that was the second chance to inform the customer no bananas but they didn't either. If the banana is one of the ingredients in the recipe that it is supposedly included in the drink, otherwise there should be a convincible reason to explain why it is not added to the drink. I had to ask them why didn't add the banana to the drink and they just said is that ok to have a smoothie without the banana, this was not a right way to solve this problem, they sounded like to force the customer to accept their mistake rather than figured out a solution or correct the mistake. No refund offered, no alternative drinks offered. Secondly, I have a lactose intolerance that I ordered soy milk to substitute regular milk, then I saw they put my smoothies ingredients in a dairy blending container right after pour out a very milky coffee, I would consider this as a random mistake rather than a habitually careless mistake. I choose not to think bad about them, but I also need to tell what happened to me. Lucy for someone has not experienced such bad service so far in this Starbucks. But it's better to put eyes on the process of how they making your drinks, this is my last and only suggestion. read more

This location just with every other Starbucks location is busy. They do offer online/mobile ordering so order ahead of time and just pick up at the pickup counter. There is another location with the convenience of a drive thru on Rosemead x Duarte just few block up north the road. Morning hustle is always busy so expect that. read more

I just left this Starbucks, and felt the need to write this post. This barista, I believe her name was Kat was so extremely generous. Different Starbucks always charge me differently for my iced coffee that includes soy milk. Some baristas say it does not get charged, others say it does. Nevertheless I asked the Barista why he was going to charge me, and he gave me a weird explanation, but she grabbed the cup and said its fine don't charge her for the soy, and I'll give it to her anyway. She then made my drink within seconds and was extremely nice. It was delicious! read more

I come here because it's conveniently located within half a mile of my house. That's probably the only reason why I come to this Starbucks. Every time I've been here, service is sloooow. Even when there are only 2 or 3 people in line, service is lagging. They have two cashiers, but usually, there is only one barista handling all the drinks. Now, that's a lot to do for one person. What they should do is have someone stationed at the blender for the frappuccinos and other blended drinks. I understand that it's a smaller Starbucks, but with the amount of customers they get, they should probably have more employees on shift. read more

the staff here is pretty friendly compared to the few other starbucks i stop by in the area. but its so hard to find a seat here ever. youll be lucky to get a seat outside the patio area, but good lucky finding any tables inside. i guess i shouldnt be so hard on them. its a really nice place if you ever find a seat, there are a lot of regulars that come here. read more

I usually come here in the mornings before i head off to work. The staff here is super nice and are always welcoming. They provide a great atmosphere especially since everyone is still pretty dead in the morning. This place has an outdoor patio where you can chill and just drink your tea or coffee while watching cars drive by. Inside is pretty small but it is kept clean.
