Talk about a cluster F. I walk in and order a drink and a breakfast sandwich and 23 minutes later I'm still waiting. They tried to blame it on a long line but I was the only one in there, and the drive up had nobody in line it wasn't there when I walked in the door. They just forgot, I watched her pull it out of the refrigerator once she realized she forgot my order and put it in the oven. No apologies, no offer of how can I make this right, nothing. I usually come here frequent so I will rate 3 stars but this morning I stopped by for a pumpkin spice latte because it's back of course. When I pulled up to the window and paid, I then got my drink which I felt light. I didn't want to be rude and open it in front of her so I left as I was already running late for work. I then get to work and I did open my drink to look at it was not full or did not have whip on it which was a little upsetting to see. I then called Starbucks and spoke to Mariah and I let her know what happened and I was a little upset about it. Her response was that I don't necessarily need to come to this location and I can go to another location to have my drink remade. Excuse me but Mariah you are no one to tell me where to go to buy my drink. I just hope Starbucks can train her better as I do like to come to this location. read more

I want to begin this review by stating the fact that both my dog and I go to Starbucks every morning for coffee and a pup cup (5767 Christie Ave, Emeryville). I was heading up to Chico the other day from San Francisco and I decided to make a quick stop at the Starbucks located on 700 Matsumoto Lane. There are two entrances at this location (main entrance & side entrance). I went in via the side entrance with my dog (no sign posted as far as service animals only). When I got to the register, the shift manager (Jessica) came racing over to let me know that dogs are not allowed inside and zoomed right off, not even remotely allowing myself to explain that my dog is a registered ESA as a result of my extreme trauma and anxiety. They wouldn't even allow me to wait for my drink inside. They had to bring it out to me. I asked to speak with the manager, and I explained to her that I go to Starbucks everyday, and I have never once had anyone tell me that my dog is not allowed. She said if I had mentioned that my dog was an ESA to Jessica, there wouldn't have been any issues. Jessica did not give me the opportunity to do so. The situation that took place at this location was uncalled for and ultimately left me feeling discriminated against and in a panicked state. I would love to receive an email back from the manager so I can forward them all of dogs ESA documentation. My advise is to be cautious when it comes to the way in which you approach someone. Simply because I look like a "normal" individual, doesn't negate the fact that I deal with severe anxiety and need a loving companion that keeps me grounded. This Starbucks took that right away from me. Shame on you. read more

First Starbucks in Winters! I've been coming here to study since they opened! And every time I've ordered a matcha ice latte, venti vanilla iced latte, or passion tango, it comes out great and satisfies my craving! Def way more modern than the Starbucks in Davis! Great open atmosphere and not too busy! There's a long table in the middle with outlets and along side where you pick up the drinks! The bathrooms are for individual uses and you wash your hands in the middle between the bathrooms! It's right off the freeway! Parking is somewhat limited ish due to the gas station and construction right across but never had a problem finding parking! There's also a Taco Bell, Burger King, Arco and chevron next to it! read more

I'm not a big Starbucks fan, but I had a gift card and I work nearby. Every single person at this location was SO incredibly nice. The older gentlemen who rung me up could tell I had rarely been at a Starbucks and was very helpful (and teased me, but in a super funny and nice way). Then he made guitar picks out of my gift card!! I didn't even know they did that! Even the other customers were super nice. They have plenty of study space, so I'm going to start studying there. read more

Arrived at Starbuck's and all the parking spaces were taken. I figured it was a busy day. I managed to find parking close by, went in just to find an employees meeting going on. I addressed the Supervisor heading up the meeting and asked if it was all of their cars taking up the spaces. I explained how "back in the day" the customers had 1st priority to the parking spaces and they should consider carpooling or find a nearby area to park. I was not even acknowledged. They all just stared at me. The Supv. said something to the effect that there wasn't a back lot where they could park. Here was her opportunity to show these employees how to treat a customer. A good customer by the way. Instead she showed them how to treat a customer rudely. She should have apologized for taking up all the spaces and to make a note to do things differently for the next meeting... read more

It's was an average Starbucks, they made my drinks fine. But it is pretty dirty inside for how slow it is. Seemed like the tables hadn't been wiped down in a while and was just generally untidy. read more

I actually am really happy to finally have a starbucks here and I really wanted to give them 5 stars because I have had great service here and have been coming a lot since they opened BUT, they aren't trained in different drink orders yet. I got charged 3 different things for the same drink I get everyday that's costs $3.45 every time I Mobil order and go anywhere else, but here I've been charged $3.75 and even $4.25 for the same drink back to back days, AND today again I was overcharged for my tall coffee that I believe should have been 1.95 and I paid 2.20, so unless they charge you for adding half n half to your drink now I'm really confused. My best advice is to Mobil order so you get the right price. Hope this helps anyone coming through! Definitely know what you are ordering and what the price is if you go here. But the employees are all lovely and the space is clean. read more

usually when i go my order is made correctly but everytime i go when this man named anthony is working he always messes up my order. he either needs to get back to studying how to make starbucks drinks or get fired, period. I had bad service each time I've gone to the store in Winters. The employees were busy chatting and eating in the dining room. I ordered a Carmel Frap and it was the worst Starbucks Frap I've ever had anywhere. Milk, ice and whip, couldn't taste the coffee or the Carmel. Even Mc Donald's does a much better Carmel Frap. The baristas are definitely not trained in drinks or suffer from memory loss. It's pitiful. They all act so arrogant. read more

Not especially impressed so far... I have gone three times and they've messed up each time. I have purposely ordered simple drinks because I figured the people are new. But the first two times I ordered an iced coffee with sugar free syrup and they gave me regular syrup. Today I ordered a cafe vanilla frap with extra caramel in the drive thru. They gave me a vanilla bean caramel frap (not even a real menu item) and I told the girl that I ordered a cafe vanilla.. she goes "you wanted a cafe vanilla... but didn't you want extra caramel?" I said "yes. But, this is a vanilla bean caramel frap. Not a cafe vanilla" and shes all "oh. You wanted the coffee.." kind of rudely, as if I'm the dumb one, and asks us to park around front to wait. My boyfriend goes inside to throw away a cup and wait, and the people inside had no idea they were supposed to remake my drink. They remade it with no extra caramel, so my boyfriend has to have them put it in another cup with caramel. Just overall poor execution. He said a manager was in there taking notes so hopefully they'll see the mess that is happening. Oh, and they had also messed up the drinks of the people in front of us, because they handed their drinks back too. Hopefully they'll get their people trained so this store is worth going to. read more

Love that Winters finally has a Starbucks. Only downfall at the moment is that the parking lot is small and it's difficult to access the drive through. However I'm sure this will change as there is a lot of construction going on in the area right now. Very open and spacious inside. read more
