The servers were friendly and patient, despite us having to situate the kiddos first. Though there was a slight hiccup when one kept trying to take our order before even handing us menus. Thankfully, it was sorted out quickly. Most of us ordered drinks at the bar and the server took our food orders thereafter. There seems to be open seating near the bar, and our friend managed to snag a table for our party of eight. Since we'd already eaten plenty at the party, we stuck to appetizers: - Calamari: crispy, flavorful, and paired with a tangy lemon aioli that added just the right kick. So glad they opened an Elk Grove location. The owner even came to our table and asked how we enjoyed the food. The restaurant is so beautiful. Kudos to the interior designer. The food was just as amazing as their Midtown Sacramento location. I enjoyed my blackened salmon a lot, it was well seasoned and it was served on a bed of rice. I also enjoyed the calamari appetizer. The seafood ceviche was good, it had shrimp and calamari. More chips would have been better. The ceviche and chip portion were not as balanced as I want it to be. Came here with my family. Personally tried the Vietnamese Coffee and the Mac n cheese. The coffee wasn't bad. Didn't taste much of the coffee but the whip cream on top was so good. Wasn't expecting it. The Mac had a lot of flavor with the 3-cheeses. Definitely recommend. Has bread crumbs on top too. My family ordered mussels, oysters, steak, salad, a burger. No complaints. Juicy. I also highly recommend their smoked old fashion. They have the good smoke. Our service was top tier. Shout out to Chelsea. She was on it. My friend and I came on a Monday around 7:30pm and were able to be seated right away without a reservation. If coming on a weekend, I would recommend getting a reservation just to be safe. The decor and aesthetic inside shows they've newly remodeled and the bar was beautiful and the tables and seating are modern making it a nice dinner date spot. Drinks: I enjoyed the lychee tini and my friend got the earl grey martini. Appetizer: we loved the tuna tartar guacamole. A bit pricy but it was delicious, I would get it again Entrees: I got the chicken Alfredo pasta and my friend got the shrimp scampi pasta. The chicken was a little plain but the pasta overall was still good. The dishes were a good size and we still had a good dinner. Overall I would say the food and drinks were a 4/5. I've gone to the downtown location twice: for dinner and brunch. Couldn't get a reservation today so went to this location which I think is new. Ambience: super cute and spacious inside. Service was pretty good too, didn't wait too long. We ordered the Vietnamese coffee and sangria. For appetizer, got the shrimp crostini and then clam chowder. My partner got the chicken and waffles while I got the harvest omelette. Coffee and sangria were great! No complaints. Crostini is very creamy and I would recommend squeezing the lemon since it helps cut the fat and was delicious. I also enjoyed the clam chowder - it was seasoned really well, chunky and dipping it with the garlic bread was the best I was too full to eat the entire harvest omelette but had a few bites. Loved all the decor indoors especially the crystal chandeliers! The outdoor patio area was beautiful as well from the hanging patio lights to the tropical plants! We came on all-day Happy Hour Monday. The service was fast and our waiter was very attentive! We came in on Valentine' Day and had an amazing experience. We asked for first available table and was told it would take up to an hour, which we didn't mind at all given how busy we knew it'd be. We ended up waiting 25 mins and got sat on the patio, which was also so beautiful. Our amazing server Holly greeted us and was super sweet to us. It was our first time here and she had great recommendations. Even though we were on the patio, she was still attentive. She made our experience fun. Now the food, it was spectacular. Such a cute and cozy ambiance!! Dined here for brunch with a few gal pals and we all enjoyed the food here. The seafood Cajun was the highlight for me! We came in on a Friday with reservations. We were seated promptly. It's a very nice spot for dates or just catching up with friends. The atmosphere is dark. Ambient lamps placed on each table. I did have to angle the menu towards the small lamps to be able to read it. We managed to put in a few happy hour items before the cutoff. We got calamari and french fries. We were almost done with the fries before our calamari came out. The portions were surprisingly large. I've never seen that much calamari on a plate before! I would 100% come back here just for the happy hour. Sadly, the entrees were lacking. I've had Cajun pasta before but from other places, it wasn't spicy. Here, it was spicy. It was my fault for assuming the Cajun here wouldn't be spicy. There wasn't a red pepper indicator and our server didn't tell us anything about the spice levels. We also got the clam linguine. The pasta wasn't spicy but the clams were spicy. There wasn't anywhere on the menu that mentioned that entree would be spicy either. I'm pretty weak to spicy. Maybe the kitchen was heavy handed that night. My husband can handle his spice pretty well but even he said it was overly spicy. If I'd known beforehand, I would've chosen a different dish. We were bummed since this was an early Valentine's date celebration and we rarely go out to eat anymore. We were also asked if we wanted to share garlic bread. We weren't told it was an extra cost. We thought it was complimentary bread with our pastas. It was only $6 but still, if we wanted to order it, we would've asked for it. The garlic bread was hard and crunchy. Our server was kind and refilled our waters each time it was low. She checked up on us when we received the entrees but we hadn't tasted it yet to let her know how it was. By the time we did eat it, she hadn't came back. It's fine though, we decided to pack the pastas and re-seasoned it at home. Very disappointed I've been coming to station 16 for a long time and we went for my mother's bridal shower July 11, this is the third time they changed their menu. We couldn't even order the seafood boil crab unless you order a Trinity pack which was $200. I understand they are trying to appeal to a certain crowd according to our waitress I'm not sure what crowd that is, but they are definitely losing their main supporters. They even took burgers on the menu and the regular macaroni and cheese.!!! get it together bring the old menu back!!!!!!! read more

Station 16 is a Local Gem. Went there with one of my Sister Friends. The Food we ordered was served promptly to our table. It was hot and tasty. The Spinach Artichoke Dip with bread is our favorite. My Sister had the turkey sandwich, which she said was great. I had the two-eggs breakfast special. It was yummy. The Service is Excellent. The waiters, waitresses and staff were friendly and accommodating. The Ambiance is perfect. Inside decor is elegant. We recently visited Station 16 in Elk Grove to celebrate a friend's birthday dinner, and while the evening had its high points, unfortunately, the food wasn't one of them. From the moment we walked in, the space gave off a warm and inviting energy. Our server was attentive and engaging which added a nice personal touch to the experience. With six of us at the table, each ordering something different--from burgers to scallops--it was a good chance to sample a bit of the menu. Unfortunately, across the board, the food didn't meet expectations. I had the ribeye steak, which was a letdown. The cut itself wasn't great quality, and the fat was under-rendered, leaving it chewy and unpleasant. I asked to replace the mashed potatoes with double "seasonal vegetables," and what I received was a plate full of burnt, overcooked green beans not exactly the kind of seasonal variety or freshness you'd hope for at this price point. Others at the table shared similar sentiments about their dishes--not terrible, but nothing that stood out as particularly enjoyable either. That said, the most important part of the night was that our birthday girl had a great time and for that, I'm thankful. I used to go to the downtown location regularly prior to covid before I moved to SF. Usual spot on Monday's all day happy hour or before Kings game. however the menu changed a lot. Saw this open in Elk Grove so I thought I check it out. Located at the old Bulls Wing spot. Nice atmosphere and seems to be fancier than downtown when you enter. Menu seems to be different than last I dined at downtown. I personally like this place better. less stressful parking and our waiter was fantastic. She checked on us frequently. We went Sunday evening and got seated immediately. food was great. Got the house burger which was perfectly cooked, juicy and arrived with side Caesar salad. Lemon and pepper wings was 5/5 and we got steam clams which was perfect. overall good experience and will be back to try brunch next. read more
