Great food! HAPPY HOUR ALL DAY ON MONDAYS. Do I need to say more. LOL Pricing is on point. Seating is classy. Great ambience for romantic and group outings. I'd recommend the house wine and house sangria, both whites. The best app in my opinion was the shrimp crostini. Good depth and flavors with each bite. The crunch in the toast was spot on. Similar to a bruschetta. Calamari and truffle fries taste like the classics. Blackened salmon was healthy and light. It was more rice than fish tbh... but the other food and price balanced out that disappointment. Parking right outside.

We celebrated two birthdays at Station 16 today, and the weekend was ideal for those that wanted breakfast/brunch, which is only served on the weekend. The restaurant has plenty of tables and booths, a very nice bar and a separate dining room. Our table ordered quite a variety from Oysters Rockefeller, Tuna Tartare, Lobster Benedict, Lobster Roll, Garlic Noodles with Chicken Cheeseburgers, and I ordered a Shrimp Scampi with Linguine, and shared a clam chowder and Caesar salad. The clam chowder was good, and I noticed the healthy portion of celery and leeks, adding to its flavor. The Caesar salad was very fresh with it very lightly seasoned with the dressing. I enjoyed the scampi also, but was a bit overdone, making it a little chewy. Everyone enjoyed their meal, The server was very efficient handling a table of eleven. This is a very popular restaurant with a steady flow of customers, sitting toward the north end of the shopping mall right off Elk Grove Blvd and Hwy 99, plenty of parking spaces, but a challenge finding close parking when it is busy.

Station 16 is one of those places that makes you think, "Okay... I get the hype." The atmosphere is beautiful, the staff was friendly and attentive from start to finish, and almost every dish looked like it belonged in a magazine. The standout of the meal? The summer strawberry salad. I wasn't expecting a salad to steal the show, but here we are. Fresh strawberries, grilled chicken, and the perfect balance of sweet and savory--it was absolutely amazing. The lemon Brussels sprouts were another surprise hit. If someone told me I'd be fighting over Brussels sprouts, I'd have laughed... until these showed up. Crispy, bright, and packed with flavor. Easily one of the best sides on the menu. The Vietnamese coffee deserves its own paragraph. Whoever decided to put that delicious twist on a traditional Vietnamese coffee deserves a raise. It was rich, creamy, and tasted more like dessert than coffee--in the best way possible. The salmon salad was fresh, flavorful, and another solid choice. I'd order it again without hesitation. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo was good, but it could've used more Alfredo sauce. The grilled chicken was cooked well, but the pasta needed a little extra creaminess to really bring it home. As for the garlic noodles... I think the garlic called in sick that day. The noodles themselves were fine, but when you order garlic noodles, you're expecting garlic to punch you in the face (in a good way). Instead, it barely introduced itself. Overall, Station 16 absolutely delivers on atmosphere, presentation, and service. While a couple dishes missed the mark, the salads, Brussels sprouts, and that unforgettable Vietnamese coffee more than made up for it. I'd definitely come back--and next time, I'll politely ask the kitchen if they can help the garlic find its way back into the noodles.

I'm not sure if this was the same as the Station 16 in midtown, but I thought this location was so much better! I got the shrimp crostini, lobster Mac and cheese, and also their calamari. I thought everything was good. Drinks were good too. Our server was super nice. I loved the interior of this place, the dim lights and spaced out tables made it easy to have conversations. I always enjoyed that it wasn't super loud in here.

This was my first time dining at Station 16. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted right away by a friendly hostess. We had a reservation so there was no wait. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer. Absolute fire! For entrées, I ordered the lobster roll and my boyfriend got the Cajun pasta. Unfortunately, the lobster roll was pretty lackluster but the garlic fries were great. I had a bite of the Cajun pasta and I wasn't impressed. It was just okay. All in all, the ambiance and staff were excellent so I will rate 3 stars.

I'm always so wearying about ordering oysters, but not from this place. They were so fresh and delicious. Love it with a little lemon. The sea food is excellent as well as the bar. Delicious cocktails, I had a lavender drink and he had an old fashion. Nice to have one in Elk Grove now, conveniently located right off of 99. Has a decent parking lot, it can just get a bit busy so we had to drive around for a spot. No biggie though. Good service. Great date spot, very fancy on the inside - we will be back!

Station 16 is not only a delicious restaurant to eat at, but also has a pretty ambiance! We recently visited for happy hour, and was not disappointed at all. $2 oyster, discounts on drinks and apps---count us in! The calamari we order was soft and crunchy. Their truffle fries were perfect, and we loved the spinach artichoke dip. We liked it enough that we would like to hold an event there!

This is a tough one. I have been here 5 times now and have really enjoyed the food each time. We have had some amazing experiences in the past. This lead us to invite my father-in-law here for an early Father's Day lunch. We were sat quickly and then the waiting began. Our server who will not be named was initially quick to take our drink order. We each ordered a drink and were constantly surprised at the amount of time it took to get our drinks. I looked at the bar and saw our drinks waiting there. After maybe 8-10 minutes without anyone checking on us my wife went to the bar to ask about our drinks. Those were indeed our watered down drinks. My beer was cold and one of us never got their drink. The food arrived and it was quite good. I really enjoyed my meal and would recommend the Cajun pasta to everyone. The bill finally came several minutes after our table was cleared. The server stood directly over my wife as she selected the top among. The 20% selection had already been highlighted. My wife felt obligated to keep it that way as she was being watched. Again, I do love the food. It is just this singular time we had atrocious service.

came here on a little sunday night date, and made a reservation ahead of time. we were seated immediately. the parking lot is huge, with plenty of space. i loved how dark and intimate it is! we ordered the spinach artichoke dip to start, and it came with chips. neither of us had tried a spinach dip before, but we loved this. the chips were also fresh out of the fryer, super crispy, salty, and hot. we also ordered their lobster mac n cheese and the steak. the lobster mac n cheese came with huge chunks of plentiful lobster, i was really pleased with the quantity. it was loaded with cheese, but surprisingly not overly rich. their steak was cooked well, but could have done with a little more salt, we found that it was a little bland by itself. overall a pleasant experience!

This was my first time at this location. We were welcomed with a friendly greeting and were seated as soon as our party of 4 were all present. Holly had our drinks and calamari order put in right away. The drinks were so good and the right amount of kick! Food was flavorful with the exception of the crab cakes, they don't compare to my fav at the Dead Fish. Cajun pasta was super spicy but really good. The sea bass, mash potatoes and veggies also good. 5 star experience with bonus bonus bonus stars for their treatment on the eve of Mother's Day. Service was great. Our server was attentive and kind, food came out very quickly. Our server also confirmed we had a mom at our table and brought out a rose to celebrate her! She felt so special and thought that Station 16 doing this act of kindness was above and beyond. They dimmed the lights around 7 which was a nice touch, this is a great spot for nice dinners with friends/family or a date night. We had cocktails and mocktails which were refreshing and they had a lot of unique options. I initially held off eating here because I thought it was a seafood restaurant but once I saw the menu I realized there are TONS of food options even without seafood. I'm so thankful I booked our dinner here and we will definitely be recommending and coming back. We tried the chicken salad, Cajun pasta, burger, garlic noodles, Brussel sprouts, pretzels, and clam linguini. Everyone either finished their plates or took home leftovers with full bellies. The Brussel sprouts are a MUST! Food and plating looks amazing but tastes even better! You will not be disappointed with this restaurant.

Our first experience at Station 16 was amazing. Cynthia and the staff were incredibly friendly, hospitable, and professional. We had a small mix-up with our order, but they handled it so well and made sure we felt completely welcome and taken care of. The food was exceptional and honestly phenomenal for the price. I couldn't believe the quality of the food for what we paid. Everything felt high-quality, well-prepared, and absolutely worth it. The ambience was really elegant and it felt like a special occasion just to come in and eat. What really stood out was how accommodating and attentive the team was, especially since we visited on Easter. Even on a holiday, the service was warm, welcoming, and thoughtful. We found this place and IG amend decided to check it out for Sunday brunch. The aesthetics inside were very nice. And it few a diverse crowd of patrons. The servings were large and the drinks looked as nice as they tasted. The Lavender French snuck up on us. I would recommend the Cajun oysters and lobster Mac and cheese, and the apple pie. The best dining experience in Elk Grove. Our server was Dominic and the staff was excellent. We shared our birthday dinner here on a Friday. We had The Big Trinity (two lobsters and 2 crab). Better than any seafood in San Francisco. The trick is to order the Collision sauce. Totally tasty! We told Dominic it was our joint birthday and he threw in a nice dessert. A nice little ending! The canned music played Sinatra. That alone was great. They put some money into the restaurant and it shows! It's not if we will come here again, it's when we'll return. Service! We checked in at about 7:20 pm. We sat outside and waited 30 min to get a seat outside. Waited 15 min and was told they forgot about us. They took our order, came out in about 15 min with our appetizers, wings and calamari and filled our cup with water. 40 min later no one checks on us and no main dish, steak and chicken Alfredo and garlic bread. 8:40pm I went in to see if they forgot about us and they did. Me and my daughter came in yesterday and it was not busy at all nobody there no staff at home was friendly and smiled at any customer I seen one maybe smile and joke. Come from one person passing by if she had really long hair I got there and there was already people outside that I've already been there like three tables or we're already there we got seated after a while they came and got us water and across from us after like 1015 minutes of us being there, the other customer was yelling for someone to take her order which tells me that she's been there for a while. No one stopped to see if she was ready for her order to be taken. All your staff disappeared. It wasn't a good environment. The food was phenomenal, but the food wasn't enough to make someone wanna come back with that kind of environment it was very like dry. There was no like excitement. It was just here's your food thanks. Bye nobody was mean. None of the staff were mean. It just wasn't inviting. It wouldn't be a place where you wanna go back and I feel like the whole idea of a place like this as well. Any other place is the environment. The staff the food the overall experience but our waiter he wasn't mean he just wasn't friendly. Ample parking and beautiful decor! From the moment you enter this place SCREAMS luxury! (From the gorgeous chandeliers to the velvet couches in the waiting area , the large bookshelf at the entrance, the decor is perfection!) The food also did not disappoint! Came on a Wednesday afternoon when the place was on the quieter side but as we left could see it getting busier for dinner. We had apps and drinks and shared a couple entrees that were all delicious! Great drink menu with options for mock tails and a decent happy hour! Started with calamari, wings (sweet chili) and ceviche. Everything was fresh, ceviche was flavorful, wings and calamari were crispy and also very flavorful. Next up we had the walnut shrimp salad , scampi and lobster roll. Superb! All of it! The scampi was probably my favorite and I'll be back for that alone! The lobster roll was stuffed with lobster and comes with side of fries or Caesar salad. I will say while this was delicious I feel maybe it needed just a little something extra like lettuce maybe (but that also could just be a personal preference) The salad was great! Portioned nicely, great presentation! Fresh fresh fresh is what comes to mind when you dine here. Our server (I didn't get his name) was also the bartender and he was great at managing both tables and bartop, was friendly, attentive and answered any questions we had with professionalism. Dined in for our galentines today with my ladies. Arrived at 1pm. We were seated quickly. We did not reserve but walked in. Once we sat down, our server came with water and menus. He gave us about 10 mins to order our meals. We ordered the bottomless mimosa and boy the server we had was excellent with refilling our mimosas! The only problem we had was the wait time for food. We ordered around 1:15pm and didn't get our food till 3pm. Literally.. So we just drank and drank the entire time.. we didn't complain because it was pretty busy and we came to have a good time. Went here for a work lunch. I was impressed by their brunch menu...which isn't served during the week. I got lemon pepper wings as my appetizer and it didn't have a hint of lemon or pepper on them. Literally tasted like they just fried some wings and plated them. My lobster roll was delicious as was the salad that came with it. My work BAE ordered a chicken sandwich which came with a lot of chicken, but it was dry. They barely put any spread on the sandwich which made it even dryer. The fries were good. The ambience here was great and so was the music selection. Service was descent as well considering she was the only one serving tables. With state workers returning to work, you may want to include brunch on weekdays. We love food. read more

Tried this place for the first time tonight for husbands birthday. We went on a Sunday early evening so it wasn't overly crowded which was nice. The interior is beautiful. It's nice to have something in Elk Grove with that kind of ambience. The servers were great. We started with the calamari and spinach artichoke dip. 10/10 for both!!! I'm dreaming of that artichoke dip! Then for entrees we both ordered the lobster roll and shared a side of the garlic noodles. We weren't really impressed with the garlic noodles, but I feel like that's more of a personal taste preference than it was a mishap on the restaurants end. We like savory and these were more sweet. Still good, 6.5/10. If you've never tried them still give them a shot as you might really like them. The lobster roll was amazing, and the Cajun fries perfectly seasoned. For cocktails I got the Lime Light, it was creamy and refreshing. Husband got the passion fruit lemon drop. Omg that was delicious next time I'm ordering that!! We will definitely be back. I can't decide if next time I'll try the scampi pasta, the lobster Mac and cheese, or the Cajun pasta...decisions, decisions!. Overall yummy dinner and relaxing environment. I finally got a chance to stop by Station 16 and had no regrets. The food was very impressive. We tried the cajun pasta, blackened salmon, lobster roll, and shrimp scampi. The vibe was comfortable and casual. It's a great place for a date night or hanging out with friends. The service was great and the food came out quick, yet we didn't feel rushed. Station 16 is located in Elk Grove. It is a super cute restaurant, with a good ambience. I ordered the Steamed Mussels 10/10 they were full of flavor and very tasty the creole tomato sauce was amazing. I also ordered the Ahi Tuna, unfortunately I have to rate it a 3/10 it had no flavor, the salad dressing was bitter, not worth it! We tried the Vietnamese Mocha, tasty, a little on the sweet side. Blackened Salmon had plenty of flavor with the garlic aioli to balance it out with a side of broccolini and rice. The omelette was pretty standard but the Cajun sausage made it stand out. Plenty of bell peppers and onions to go with my potatoes. The aesthetics are pleasant and warm for the holidays. I was surprised to see that they didn't have some of the more classic side options like macaroni and cheese or coleslaw or cornbread. Because they were out of the banh mi option, we opted for the fried chicken sandwich instead, which was actually surprisingly super good, despite not seeming like a main menu item. The chicken was really juicy and burger itself was just very satisfying. Overall, had a great first visit but because of the items that we couldn't try, I feel like we have to go again to get the proper experience. I do wish they had some kind of kids menu. I would suggest not trying to back out to the street when leaving however and instead we went through the parking lot, made a left at the ally and from there make a turn from the stop sign at Main Street. 2. Menu: Every thing we ordered was delicious. They had a large wine and beer menu. The blonde beer was ice cold and light for a summer drink. The house red was pretty mellow and very full bodied. The Sauvignon Blanc wasn't too sweet and had a hint of vanilla. The portion sizes of the meals were huge. None of could finish our plates! The bread is extra at 6 dollars, but worth it mainly due to the garlic/chive butter with it. We also ordered the fried zucchini as an appetizer - it was hot and crispy. The zucchini and breading were not soggy at all, and the breading stuck perfectly (these are common issues I've had at other places with fried zucchini) The ribeye was cooked perfectly and was incredibly tender. My friend pointed out that this was a very large piece a bit on the thinner side- they may have pounded it out to tenderize it is our guess. The farmer special was our favorite. It was a braised short rib and you could order it with pasta however we did it with the polenta. It was so very tender and savory. Came with a lot of polenta and it was very cheesy with Parmesan. The linguine and clams had both shelled and unshelled clams. I felt that there could have been more meat for the clam to pasta ratio. It was full of garlic and the cream sauce was zesty. 3. Atmosphere: It's a decent sized building, with a nice big bar in the front a smaller room to the left and a larger room in the back. There was plenty of seating for if you needed to wait. The walkways were wide and it was easy to move around, so no issues using a walker here and I would guess a wheelchair should be fine. The backroom had big booth seats, and would probably be good for large groups and families. The decor seemed a little dated and there was a jukebox in the smaller room, which although we were seated in the back was very loud and at the beginning of our experience it was hard to hear each other and was distracting. During this time the music kept switching songs every 10 to 30 seconds. I inquired why, and every Tuesday night they do "Music Bingo". So that could be a plus for some people, who want a more laid back atmosphere and enjoy a community game! The people in the front of the restaurant seemed to really enjoy it! However I would say if you are planning a quiet evening out or a first time date, you may want to come any other night but Tuesday. 4. Service: All our food and drinks come out in an appropriate time. Drinks were cold and food was hot! Our server made sure we had everything we needed and the manager even come by to check on us. I do love the brick building and how it's on old Elk Grove. We will be back!
