The steak tasted like it was boiled and they did not put any seasoning. I had to drown the food in Tabasco but only ate two bites. The breakfast potatoes tasted like oil and again absolutely no seasoning. To top it off the omelet had hollandaise sauce that tasted like nothing. Terrible. Trying to think of a good part of the experience we had. They first sat us at a table that the AC was on full blast and pouring straight down on our table. It is absolutely freezing. Asked them to move and "we don't have any other tables. We ultimately had to spread out to the corners of table very far from each other so we were not really sitting with each other. Numerous mistakes bring out wrong food and drinks to our table (almost think they did it to charge us more). Dinner took 3 hours because of how slow EVERYTHING took. They kept apologizing and offering to bring us free stuff...which took another 30 minutes to bring out "comped" ice cream. Literally ice cream in a glass with chocolate syrup...30 minutes. Ridiculous experience that they still forced us to pay 20% tip for an experience we should have had to get paid for. Never again....stay away from this place. read more

I think Station 16 has a few things to nail down and work out but it hasn't been open very long. There are so many good things in this shopping/eating area now that parking can be a problem, but that isn't Station 16's fault. I definitely recommend making a rez on the weekend. So first off, the vibe is great! The chandeliers are beautiful, the lighting is intimate, the books are a nice touch and there is some lovely greenery. Also, food is great! We had the shrimp honey salad, the artichoke dip, the tuna tartar guacamole and the scallops. The creamy honey dressing was amazing and the shrimp were fresh and huge! The tartar is a must! A good portion for a starter and so flavorful. The scallops needed a little more flavor, and they were a small portion for the price. The artichoke dip alone would have me coming back! The wait staff were all very friendly but the service was a little slow. We had a rez but still waited and we had to ask for our check. However, the food came out fast. Ambience was welcoming as well as the staff. We had the cajun oysters, clams and mussel appetizer, which would definitely order again. The steaks were passable nothing to write home about. The salmon was cooked to perfection and finished our meal with the apple pie and lava cake, which both were very good. Our server, Johnny was very attentive. We had the Cajun Pasta and Rib Eye for dinner. Appetizer was the ceviche. Portions and seasoning were good. For a Friday anniversary dinner, the live music was the only issue... if the owners want a bar or a concert, that's cool. But for a more "upscale" EG dining experience, maybe background music/vocals vs. foreground would help. Yelling at each other and the staff did not lead to a pleasurable experience. Even after asking for volume to be lowered... mitigation efforts failed. Anyway, will give it another shot at some point. read more

The restaurant setting is absolutely beautiful along with the great customer service. I ordered the Cajun shrimp pasta, which was very very delicious. The pasta the sauce that noodles, the shrimp everything was on point definitely satisfied my palate. also tried the artichoke dip which was very delicious. I've had many and by far this was the best one. Not sure if it was a seasoning that they added, but it was really good. I recommend this place and absolutely will come here again. read more

We ordered a couple drinks and starters which took some time. The oysters and shrimp crostini were really good! The drinks were great as well. BUT our food and overall service took painstakingly long. We ordered the ahi tuna salad, chicken club sandwich and scallops. We didn't get our food until an hour after we sat. For the meals we ordered, it shouldn't have taken that long. Plus, the restaurant was NOT busy. It just didn't add up. When we finally got our food, it was slightly disappointing. The scallops were great, but the ahi tuna salad was bland. The dressing had no flavor, so the waitress brought me a few different options to try out. Even so, it was still bland. The chicken club sandwich was also just... ok. It was really greasy. It's a bummer because the place is so beautiful, but the service and food could be better.
