The worst place to eat. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I'm not sure how you can fuck up an order for a burger and fries. The cup my shake was in was sticky and had soda all over it. My bun was soggy from them putting the chili cheese fries on the same plate when I specifically said separate it. My waitress Bonnie was blah and seemed like she was in need of a vacation or needed to retire. When she brought my order back it was still messed up. I was so irritated I didn't even bother to tell her my order was still wrong. One of the waiters stepped outside to smoke some weed. He came back in smelling like a damn skunk. This place is trash and I should of slapped my boyfriend for taking me. Locals know to avoid this place. I think the only reason this location remains open is due to unsuspecting first timers. How can a place with shake in it's name mess up a shake@! My fisrt and last visit to this location was blessed we me witnessing a fight between several employees that involved one of them throwing a kitchen knife at another. The fact that the managers hid from the employees, and after the police left, hid from the customers that they should have been apologizing to, tells me not to return to this location ever again....unless I am having an extremely boring night. read more

Worst experience ever. I simply wanted to go thru the drive thru for a quick bite to eat before work. I placed my order and then the wait started. Let's just say this shouldn't be classified as fast good. I sat in the drive thru for about 15-20 minutes. People in the drive thru line simply started to leave. It was ridiculous. Is there a way to give a negative rating? I'm not sure why but 3 out of 3 times I've ordered they have taken an hour to start the order and 2 of 3 times they forgot an item. I'm not sure why it is so difficult for them to cook an order in less than an hour and a half. Two servers walked in front of me, and were talking to each other like I weren't there. Until my mother spoke up and said, who's taking orders? Did they feel the need to say something. Like really.? Isn't it the servers job to greet the customers. I left the restaurant with my order placed. While I was gone for 10-12 minutes I came back and received the same treatment, with one exception. Yo this place is disgusting! I'm picking up for uber eats and I have been waiting forever, but while I wait I'm observing everything. Let's start with no one helping the customers at the order out counter. Then when I'm finally helped I told her I have an uber pick up she left and literally I never saw her again. I've been here for 30 min and I'm still currently waiting. Now let's get to the cooking staff... The cook got out his phone while in the middle of flipping a burger and used his gloves on his phone and never changed them after using his phone. I will not be coming back to this location. I waited 10 mins at the drive thru. I decided to go in. I was standing waiting to be seated for about 20 mins. Once seated it took another 15 to 20 mins for our order to be taken. It took my same amount of to to get our drinks minus my shake. We were waiting for our food for over 45 mins. After taking a few bites both my bf & I noticed our food was cold. By the time the shake got to our table we have already eaten. On top of that it was the wrong shake. If I could give this restaurant negative stars, I would. It took ten minutes for us to even get seated, despite there being plenty of clean tables vacant. The management seems to suck here. The waiters are rude and clearly overworked. After the meal, I tried to flag down the waiter to order a milkshake. He pointed down on the table to the check on the table, then rolled his eyes at me when I asked to add something. Then it took an additional 20 minutes to receive the milkshake. This is the poorest excuse for a restaurant ever. We were shopping and my wife wanted a shake so we drove a good bit out of the way to go here. It was almost 2 in the afternoon and there was a line at the door. The people in front of us left and said they had been standing there for over 10 minutes. We waited for about that long. Just 5 minutes ago we ordered two fried chicken salads with thousand island ON THE SIDE and a double steak burger with cheese. Simple, right? False. I grew up on Steak 'N Shake, but can't recall the last time I have been to one. It's been years. I was in the area and it was their happy hour (2-4pm half price shakes) so I decided to stop by. I went to the drive thru and ordered an Oreo shake. The volume on the stereo was so low. It was very hard to hear the young lady taking my order. I pulled around and got my shake quickly enough. Note: they come with whipped cream and a cherry. I wish they would ask if you want that. I am not a fan of whipped cream on my shakes. C'est la vie. My shake was great though! I hope this location gets it together. They are just sub-par on just about everything. The service is slow, unattractive and often seemingly distracted or in training. The staff turn over is noticeable and I do not go often. The food is always sloppy, usually wrong, and sometimes questionably fresh. The last time I went I apparently ordered a pickle burger. That's all I really had was 3 extra large pickles with a little meat and soggy bun. Steak and shake fries are just what they are. Better eat them fast because they are so tiny. One of the worst places in Atlanta. I've been there several times with people that wanted to go there. The food is 2 stars maybe 2.5, but the service is non existent. One of the last times I was there, we left because we couldn't even get seated, and there was almost no one there eating there. When we have gotten seated, the servers roam around apathetically and eventually get to you when there good and ready. They are very inattentive. I don't think they even have a manger, if so they are completely absent. Everyone there has an attitude. Another occasion the smoke detector was beeping very loudly every minute or so...it was very irritating, but no one cared or wanted to fix it.
