I ordered a $5.99 butter burger with fries from the value menu through the drive through. The value menu doesn't come with the drink so you will have to pay for a drink on the side. The associate was really sweet and I didn't get her name but she was super awesome. The food was a good quick lunch.

Stopped by Steak 'n Shake while my wife was shopping across the street at Sawgrass Mills Mall. This is a very convenient spot to grab a quick bite and relax for a bit. Ordering was easy at the self-serve kiosk, and once I checked out, I found a clean table to hang out at while waiting for my food. It took about 15 minutes for my name to be called, which felt a little long for a "quick-serve" place. I went with ýthe double cheeseburger, fries, and a sweet tea. The burger was your typical smashed-patty style cooked on a flat top -- decent, nothing extraordinary. The fries, thin and crispy like shoestring potatoes, are cooked in beef tallow, which seems to be a trendy move these days. I liked them with a heavy dose of ketchup. The dining area is bright, modern, and comfortable. It's a nice place to sit while escaping the mall crowds. Parking's easy since it's right by Walmart and just outside the Sawgrass Mall entrance. Overall, a solid three-star experience. It's a reliable choice if you're in the mood for fast food near the mall, but nothing that really stands out. My only regret? Skipping the milkshake... they looked amazing.

Steak and shake has a big variety of different burgers. My family and I dined in and they have a kiosk machine that you place your order and you can pay with cash, credit/ debit card and even bitcoin. On the kiosk they ask if you want to provide tip. The floor was a little sticky but the place looked overall clean. Sophia was very helpful and provided great customer service. When you order a drink they give you a QR code to scan to get the drink. I had my hands occupied and Sophia helped me out. Overall the experience and the food was great.

This place is not what it used to be. The tenders were way over priced for what you get. I got 3 hard, overcooked tenders. I think I have made my last trip to this place. The fries did taste good at least.

Pick up order of original double steak burger deal with 2 kids meal of lady fingers.

Service is slow but food comes out hot most of the time. I come here because there's no other SNS in the tricity area. The inside always smells a bit funky when I walk in for my order.

I was in the area and hadn't been to a Steak 'n Shake for years so I decided to stop for a quick bite. I'm not sure how so many of the reviewers had such a bad experience here because mine was just fine. I haven't been to a Steak n Shake, as I said, for years, so I'm not sure if this is how they do it at all of them now, but you need to order at a kiosk whether you're getting it to go or dining in. Ordering was very simple, you order and then just scan your credit card. They also have a register available for those who prefer to pay with cash. Within a few minutes our burgers and fries were ready. Food was nice and hot and really good. I love their thin fries topped with cheese and the burger was nice and juicy. I really only interacted with one employee and he was very pleasant. The place was spotless which is always a plus!

There was a double burger with cheese and mine was a single, the agares chili and 2 sodas. All gone!

Steak and shake "new" (for me) format: self serve! Let me say that it works! Now you enter and go to the self-ordering station, where you enter your order. The seating area was empty at 430pm- but started filling up soon after: so we had our choice of seats. Then they call your number and you pick up your tray and eat! No more waiting for the waitress to seat you, take your order and bring your food to you ... Food (burgers) were as good as I remember- pattys are small, but flavorful- cheese is cheese and they add the fixings you request. We did get a bowl of chili to share and it was quite tasty and very hot. Overall: self serve worked! I think the food was available faster than before- oh and this location now also has a drive thru! Enjoy!

2-23-23 12:30pm The Yelp reviews all 239 of them, that gave this an overall rating of two stars is correct. I was heading over to Walmart but than did a fast beeline here through the drive thru. First I was surprised the slow service as there was only one car ahead of me. Once I got to the order screen was surprised I was told to wait. No wonder why the long wait they must be short staffed. I ordered a vanilla shake and was surprised on their order board every item had calories lists but the vanilla chocolate and strawberry shakes. When I get to the window to pay I noticed the filthy outside window. Than once the window opens you get hot with this pungent smell of fry oil. It was truly gross worse than body odor if you could imagine anything to be worse. Than I was handed the shake. It's been years since I have gotten one from them and the whipped cream was not real. It was that fake stuff that doesn't melt. Sorry I drank the shake and came here. Will definitely be the last time.

Thank you for the reply. I originally wanted to X-tudo but I was refused to substitute the bug without seeds, every burger that is taken to go is never as good as dining in. As a customer I could have been given the option. The person could have just said it's not as good but it's your choice. I was never offered a chance to speak with a manager, I was just told NO. As a customer it should be up to me what burger I want to order, the ability to modify it and dine in or out. If I pay for it then it shouldn't matter if I take it home or just throw it out. I was frustrated because anything I asked for was met with a No, and was not offered to speak to a manager. It was the attitude take it or leave it, so I did. If the person I spoke with offered to involve a manager or try to find a solution I would have not written a review. I never do but this time I took the time to write one, that should say something. When we first pulled up, the parking lot was nearly empty, and inside there were only a few people scattered around. My companion went straight to the restroom, so I found a seat at the bar. The first thing we were told was that the kitchen was already closed even though it was only 9 PM which was a bit disappointing since I was hungry. Since it's an Irish pub, they mainly serve beer and wine, so I ordered a Guinness followed by a light beer. Despite the slow start, the night turned out to be unexpectedly enjoyable. We ended up meeting some wonderful people from Italy, Poland, and Turkey. It was especially nice connecting with the gentleman from Turkey, as I had traveled there last year, and we had a great conversation about that experience. The same went for the gentleman from Italy. Both visits were for birthdays---the first was mine, when I happened to mention to our server that we were celebrating my birthday and she helped make the experience great. She then exclaimed, "You should have told me it was your birthday! We'll give you a dessert. Would you like to take it home?" Which I did, and the Seven Layer Chocolate Cake was thoroughly enjoyed for breakfast on two different days. I still can't get over the fudge layers in the sponge sandwiched by a light, creamy chocolate mousse. The plated cake was much cuter and better dressed with surrounding raspberry sauce instead of it being in a takeout cup, but the divine tastes of that cake are unchanged. Seeing that the majority of their locations are in the north, with the southernmost locations before Florida being Virginia and South Carolina, I feel lucky that we have a location in South Florida (and a second in Boca Raton). The hostesses are friendly, as well as the servers, and each one asks about allergies in the party. I saw on their website that they have a commitment to accommodating food allergies and a protocol for communicating allergies to the staff and kitchen. The most recent visit started with us repeating allergies to our server after telling our hostess, as he wasn't informed of them. It never hurts to confirm that everyone is on the same page but it was a little odd. I'm not sure what those purple allergy cards are supposed to do if they're not written on. However, like I mentioned, they are really serious about food allergies. When we were placing orders, our server would tell us whether there were allergens in the dishes we mentioned. Our server during my first visit even went back to the kitchen to check whether there were eggs in a sauce that were in one of the dishes we were interested in, without being asked. The inside is clean, beautiful and well lit, and the bar is spacious with plenty of screens if you're able to make it in for their happy hour at the bar from 3-6 PM on Mondays-Fridays. We had the guacamole and chips ($9), which had a surprisingly generous portion of genuine guacamole to the point where we ate all of the white and blue tortilla chips that came with it. I asked our bartender if we could get more chips by any chance, and another bartender heard and went straight to the kitchen and came out with a bowl of warmed tortilla chips. I had an Old Fashioned, which was slightly sweeter than I'm used to, but still having great citrus aromas. I recommend having a cocktail on happy hour as they are typically $15-17 on the regular menu while they are $10 during happy hour. For dinner during my second visit, we were seated in a lounge appearing area to the left of the entrance with long couches for the booth seats and an unfinished cut of wood table. Let me tell you about the food before I run out of space! Bread service: I know it's weird to have to pay for bread, but that's the restaurant world we live in. It's worth the $5 to get warm, fluffy bread dressed with everything seasoning and coming with herbed butter, pesto and an olive tapenade, all a choose-your-own-bread-adventure sampler. You can tell nothing on the plate came out of a jar. Philly cheesesteak rolls: Everyone can eat all 3 of the rolls that come in this dish along with the crispy onion rings that come on top of them. Resist the urge and share the tender beef and gooey cheese inside of these rolls. NY strip: Tender, well grilled and seasoned, accompanied by tasty green beans and mashed potatoes made with just the right amount of butter where you taste more potato than butter or cream. Crab crusted haddock: A generous portion of flaky, slightly buttery haddock with an aromatic crab cake on top. We loved the jasmine rice that came with it, from the degree of cooked to a little oil covering. Lobster roll: It was a summer limited item until August 31, and I'm sorry to say it was perfectly buttered, toasted and brimming with plump lobster meat. You were able to get it cold with a cole slaw, but a hot roll is definitely the move. Did I convince you to go try their food? If not, read this again. I'll see you there.
