This restaurant is closing on the 27th of this month I worked here at 16. My family always went here for "after the event" or just to catch up. I will miss it. Here is our "Last Hurrah" photo.

Cool Little place heading away. We were nearby at Bullwinkle's to celebrate a birthday. Stopped by to have a birthday dinner. Was sat down right away. Great service other than with my ribs i got to pick two sides. So i ordered double fries and she forgot them two times after asking. She said she'll bring them right out to bring out. Price wasn't bad for hey party of sixth. Would make a drive from Murrieta to have dinner here again.

Steer N Stein in Rancho Cucamonga has that classic old school steakhouse vibe that instantly feels comforting. The atmosphere is nostalgic in a way that makes you want to slow down and actually enjoy your meal. The food was delicious and hearty, exactly what you hope for when you walk into a place like this. The service was friendly in that genuine, old fashioned way that feels increasingly rare. It's the kind of spot that reminds you why longtime local favorites stick around.

Always pass by this establishment but never really appeal to me. Today decided to give it a go. Food: 7 oz sirloin & baby back ribs with grilled shrimp. Grilled patty melt and pepper steak with veggies. Con's: steak was ok not much seasoning but tender the ribs not really good dry and hard a little to much BBQ sauce shrimp could use more time on the grill Pepper Steak not much seasoning just ok. Patty melt good. Other than the Rib Eye most steaks are sirloin. Service: real good and attentive Ambiance: just an old steak house nothing fancy which is ok. Unless someone in my family wants to go back I will but not a place I pick to many steak places better for the price

It has been years since I've been to a steer n stein. As a kid my parents would go at least once a week so I have so many good memories there . My grandpa lives near this location and my mom was in town so I made the long trek up to Rancho to eat lunch with my mom and I had missed my favorite, the fried zucchini. Walking in took me back to early 90s like I had been transported me right back to my childhood . I will say I failed as an elite because I was so busy catching up with my mom I literally took only one picture :( The zucchini and ranch were just as i remembered it, so good ! Everyone I was with got steaks , I got a hamburger . The steaks were decent , but for the price just go to a different steakhouse . Hamburger I'm pretty sure was just a frozen piece of meat that comes from a box or something cheap. It was poor quality but of course I still ate it . For a bill of 200$ for 5 people this place should have been much better . It felt like low budget food but set at an insane price . Even the zucchini was 16$. I'll probably never come here again , unless it's just for the zucchini but even then I probably won't.

Worth the wait. A crowded restaurant on a weeknight is a good sign of a good meal. Eventually was seated in a booth in the dining room. Pink lemonade tastes freshly made and was tasty. Zucchini fries are a highlight, dipped in tempura batter light and easy to eat. Steak and burger were nothing special but good nonetheless.

We love the zucchini and was looking forward to the fish & chip since they use the same batter as the zucchini. Was very disappointing. Fish was only two small pieces for the price. Service by Stephine was great. She's friendly & been there 30 years. We've been coming her for 20 years.

I have been going to variations of this restaurant with different names but the same menu for years since I was a little boy and I'm gonna be 62 in June the food is always good. The service is always good. The atmosphere is great. I've never had a bad meal there and will continue to go back until I can no longer chew a steak ha ha ha.

Specialty steak was very tasty and cooked to perfection

Great experience and forgot this restaurant was here. The service was great and the food was very delicious. Definitely returning.

    Indoor seating and no reservations.

Are you guys still in business? Because the phone number doesn't ring (sound like non existing number dialing)

The bread was okay, didn't seem too fresh but it was nice to hold us off while we waited for our food. I ordered the outlaw ribeye and my Dad ordered a regular ribeye medium rare. The outlaw was about $40. I also ordered a side of salad and a baked potato which came with the steak. The food arrived fairly quickly amd we dug in. It was very tasty. The streak was cooked perfectly but the baked potato could have used more toppings. I ordered an extra side of sour cream. The steak was bomb. It was well seasoned and delicious. The decor is pretty nice and creates a welcoming atmosphere, although it would be betterv if the place was a bit cleaner, but it is what it is. One thing I did notice is that the tables are placed pretty close together, so it can be a little difficult to move around when it's busy. Service: We had a reservation for 7 PM, and despite it being a busy night, we were seated pretty quickly. Our waiter Sydney was very friendly and informative. Although, the restaurant was very busy, it was sometimes difficult to find our waiter when we needed some refills or wanted to make some requests. It also took a while for us to get the check and pay, which was a slight inconvenience at the end of our dinner. Drinks: Passion Fruit Limeade - it was very fresh and refreshing. I enjoyed it, but i think $20 for a whole jug is a little bit pricey. Food: Spicy Sirloin - The sirloin had a good level of spice that wasn't that overpowerin. It was very tender and easy to cut into. Picanha - got it medium, and it had a great flavor without being overly salty, and it was also very tender. Tri-Tip - I got a thin slice that was cooked medium throughout. It was a little fatty in some areas, but the char on the outside added a lot of flavor to it. Sausage - i think it was okay. It was a little on the saltier side, but still very flavorful. Ribs - The ribs were mostly plain, and I could barely taste the sauce that it had on the outside, but the meat was tender and came off the bone easily. Falnk Steak - i got it thinly sliced, and it was tender and nicely seasoned. It tasted good, although it did seem similar to some of the other cuts that were served Salad Bar: - The salad bar has a good variety of hot and cold items. I liked the potatoes and the lobster bisque. Sides: When you first start out, they give you some Sides at your table. French Fries - The fries were crispy, but a bit dry and they could use some more seasoning or flavor. I think they would be better with some sauce, but fries are fries! Mashed Potatoes - they were light, buttery, and paird well with all of the meats. Cheese Bread - THey were served fresh and had a nice texture. These were probably my favorite sides during the visit! Also a bathroom review lol: - The bathroom is nicely decorated, but it could do with some more maintenance.

They are located with really easy access from one of their parking areas. We were in one of the private rooms that had been set up with multiple tables and everything we needed. The staff was super friendly and offered those Drinks right away once you sat down. I noticed that we had custom-made menus in honour of the retirement party that we were having. I thought that was a really nice touch. We had prefix menus I know we didn't go with the most expensive set that they have. We also had a selection of appetisers per table and of sides. Everything that came out was delicious! My favourite appetiser were the goat cheese balls. They were crunchy on the outside and really soft on the inside. I ordered the fillet medium rare and it came perfectly cooked. The Mac and cheese was delicious! The Brussels sprouts were crispy and tasty. I didn't notice that they had pork and I'm allergic to it. One of my coworkers noticed and warned me. When one of the staff overheard that I couldn't have it because I cannot have pork, she apologised and said that they could make some without pork. I didn't want to make a big deal and I said it was fine. The staff still went above and beyond to cater to my allergy and brought one without pork. That was a really nice thing to do because the Brussels sprouts were really good! For the dessert I picked the gooey brownie which was good but very rich. Overall, we all had a really good experience with really good food and good service. I would highly recommend them for an event with the set menu.

No need to be rude. Thankfully the food was good, so at least that was enjoyable. Our waitress never came by once to check up on us, as we watched other waitresses be more attentive at other tables. Honestly I've had better service at McDonald's. That's embarrassing for a restaurant like The Cut where food prices are not cheap. Unfortunately, this location was a bit of a letdown. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, feels polished and comfortable for a relaxing casual dinner. Service was fine. We were led to the outdoor patio; the noise level was average. The adults started with a beer and an Old Fashioned, and everything seemed promising at first with attentive service by Ben. For dinner, the two girls in our group, both 11 years old, decided to share the steak frites and the cheddar biscuits. At around $40, we expected the protein portion to be a little more substantial, at least enough for two girls to share. What came out felt like a 4 ounces serving (at best) of steak with at least half a pound of seasoned fries. The fries were fine, but the steak was tough, even after we cut it into smaller pieces for them. The girls were disappointed, especially since they were excited to share something a little more grown-up. The cheddar biscuits were meh, lacking cheddar flavor. My husband had the classic burger with fries which was just okay although the patty was a bit overcooked since he asked for medium rare. It was average at best. I opted for the summer chicken plate. The salad that came with it was actually the best part of the meal. The lemon basil vinaigrette was light and really complement the romaine lettuce. Unfortunately, the chicken itself was dry and tough. Our server described it as a half chicken with hot honey sauce, but the sauce didn't really taste spicy or honey-like. It was more like a very light maple syrup. We ended up using ranch dressing to help the chicken along, which says a lot. I wanted to like Paul Martin's but based on this visit, the food just didn't deliver. With so many other dinner options at Victoria Gardens, it is hard to justify coming back when the main dishes were this underwhelming.
