Came here for a birthday celebration and we were able to call and let them to know. They sat us in the back room which was perfect since we had a couple kids. Jordan was our server and shout out to him! He did forget that the potatoes were loaded but for taking 13 orders that was nothing. Food was really good and quick. All our food came out about the same time considering how many orders there were. They even stored our cake in the fridge and provided us with plates for it (thank you so much for that!) Ambiance: been here a few times. It's usually empty to lightly busy, never packed. So if you're looking for a quieter place to eat steak this might be for you. Seems like they can't decide if they want to be a steakhouse or be a place you can go catch the game. They have tvs around in weird spots but some times they aren't on. Seems like they don't have an identity yet. It be best for them to make a decision and roll with it. Definitely not upscale though. You'll stand out like a sore thumb if you go dressed up. Service: here's where they truly lack. When your server does come ask for everything you'll need right then and there because they come around scarcely. Needed utensils, condiments, refills, etc. had to ask a separate waitress for service since ours just disappeared to the back. Mind you they weren't busy. 3 other families in our area. If you're going to break, make sure you have someone covering your tables. Or maybe they weren't on break and just hung out in the back. Didn't notice a manager around so who knows what they're doing. But this is by far the biggest area of improvement. Food: food is decent. Salad needed more dressing. As you can see in the pictures attached, definitely felt shorted on my fries. Garlic bread was ok minus the part with the raw butter still on it. Steak was undercooked for what I asked for but no biggie, I'll eat it as long as it's cooked lol steak doesn't have much flavor to it though. Needed to use A1. Generally I like A1 so I don't mind using it but if a steak is seasoned properly you don't use it. Fries were ok. Nothing to write home about. My kids didn't even ask for more and they love fries. Overall: place is ok. A lot of room for improvement, but not terrible. It's in my opinion, not worth the price. It is a little pricey for the quality of service and food you receive. Not a lot of great steakhouses around me so I may be back to give it another shot but no time soon. read more

I was here in 2/5/2024 for business. I have to say when I stepped inside I was a bit skeptical. Never judge a book by its cover. The food was amazing, the servers were so accommodating making sure we were all satisfied with our orders and if we needed drink refills you make it! You definitely need to try them! The service was not great. When we entered, we had to wait for a whole since there was no workers in the front. When one young employee finally emerged from the back, he was standoffish and didn't maintain any eye contact. Barely spoke. He pointed at a table and left to the back, where he had a long conversation with another employee that we could slightly overhear. We waited for about 10 minutes without being asked for drinks nor an employee checking in on us. When a worker passed by, someone in my party flagged them down and asked for a server, and that's when we got one. As we waited for our drinks, another party came in and they were immediately helped and greeted by the same young employee from before. He was polite and greeted them enthusiastically, and even offered them a booth or a table. Where was that when we entered? When we finally received our food, which took a fairly long time, it was completely bland. Mashed potatoes, the chicken noodle soup, and several entrees were bland and had no flavor. We were excited to come here because a co-worker raved about this place, but it seems you have to fit a certain type of group for good food and service. First and last time coming here. Me, my wife and family have been coming here for many years. We believe this is one of the best places to have a good meal, a good steak. Of coarse someone will always have a complaint about one thing or another at any restaurant. Things aren't perfect every time we go but it's a good place for us. 90 times out of a hundred we will enjoy being here. Things happen at different times of the year for what ever reason and we know they do their best to help. Sure, they have new hires and they make mistakes but that happens everywhere. The Chili is DANG good. Seriously I would like to add it to my list of comfort foods even though my momma didn't make it!!!! So so so good. The food is better then most of the other restaurants out in The surrounding areas that serve the same kinds of food. The food was good, however the server Yvette did not check to see if we needed refills, additional items etc. as my husband and I watched Yvette check on her other tables but not once check on us until she saw that we were watching her check on the other tables, she then came by and said are you guys ok? Been craving the food... just went to the rancho location on Wednesday and today I left upset and disappointed to drive from riverside. Ordered the super stockyard medium well. The steak was well done and didn't have any flavor. The server dropped off the food and never came back to ask how things were or if they can get anything for us... I didn't even eat the food and you would think to order a super stockyard that some of the food would be missing but all the food was still there and server didn't ask if everything was okay... in my opinion something must be wrong to order so much food and not touch much of it...just my opinion... they weren't even busy. Went to the Steer and Stein in Hemet on Florida and Sanderson. We received the hillbilly service imaginable. Our waiter must have forgotten we were even there. He took our order, and we waited more 20min and didn't receive so much as a glass of water. We looked around thinking maybe the hostess will help out, between her sitting and laughing with other employees she was little or no help. After waiting a little longer and watching other customers that came and seated after us receive their meal, we came to the conclusion the waiter forgot to submit our order and forgot he had seated us. read more

Me and my mother dined recently at the Moreno Valley location. we have been disappointed with the rise in prices, but we still go there to support local businesses. Lately we have been getting less than acceptable food quality. I had ordered the super stockyard with baked potato. The potato came cold and wouldn't even melt the butter and half of the steak was raw, not rare but raw, so the manager charged me for a signature steak which is 6 or 7 oz. because she took back the raw half and charged me that for the piece, she left which was about 1/3 the size of the steak. So not only did she charge me over for the food i was left with she never even came to our table to inquire about any of it or to apologize for the poor food preparation, but she also made the waiter deal with all of it. I understand they are hurting for business, but these are the reasons people do not return, I will no longer be taking my family there to dine. If you decide to dine there also know that they charge you $2 extra for using a charge card to pay your bill. The rest rooms are not very clean, and the hand soap is so watered down that it wouldn't even soap up my hands. read more
