I took my Toyota FJ Cruiser through the Rubicon Trail, and as you might expect, it was quite the adventure. Unfortunately, a crucial part decided it had had enough and broke down on me. I dont often provide reviews or opinions because - they are mine and I don't really care what anyone else thinks. However - The Stellar Built Crew, whom I'd be very happy to keep all to myself, stand out in a crowd of fab shops to infinity and beyond! I really dig that SB is a big fan of Toyota builds (amongst others) both old and new. One could go hang out at this place for a BBQ (I hope SB plans one soon - I will chef up!) and gain some first hand knowledge and insight that very few forums are going to be able to provide at the wrenching level. These guys listen, research, advise and give sound council on what you want to achieve with your rig, mild or wild and with your budget in mind. Stellar Built is handling (in stages) the work on my son's 4Runner. There were shops much closer to our home but after much research my son chose SB to handle the project. Without hesitation we say it was a perfect choice and we are extremely satisfied with the quality and service. Having spent the day at SB I was able to observe their program. I have been into rock crawling as far as I can remember. My dad took me on the Rubicon the first time when I was nine years old, I still remember the excitement of driving the rig for the first time.
