As far as airport restaurant food goes, pretty good but extremely overpriced even for airport food. My friend and I went recently and were seated and served relatively quickly. I ordered the mac and cheese and my friend ordered sweet potato fries. At $26, I expected an entrée-sized dish for my mac and cheese and received an appetizer-sized portion. Even accounting for airport prices this maximum should have cost $15. The mac and cheese itself was fairly good and better than many non-airport restaurant mac and cheese. The fries were fine and relatively well-priced. I would only go to Stephanie's if you have Priority Pass, otherwise bring your own food or go with a less expensive option. read more

One can enter this restaurant at Terminal E with Priority Pass and I decided to give this place a shot. I got the breakfast sandwich which consisted of two fried eggs, cheddar cheese, and sausage on a toasted english muffin. A side of home fries also came with it. I ordered a breakfast sandwich (w/ bacon) and a decaf coffee (yeah, I know, long story). The breakfast sandwich was served on an English muffin and came with home fries. The sandwich was the expected bacon, egg, and cheese on a muffin. It came out almost too hot to bite into immediately. Bonus points for real egg and cheese! The home fries, despite their appearance, were all-around okay, though they lacked seasoning. A little S&P with ketchup is all that was needed to wake them up. I walked in without a reservation and was seated upon arrival. The atmosphere is buzzing, and when I went for Saturday lunch it was less busy than I expected. I had a flight in an hour so my goal was to be in and out in less than 45 minutes. Waitstaff was friendly and on their feet. I ordered a Caesar salad and added steak. The price of the steak was a 15 dollar add on, but that was decent considering it was a fairly large portion of steak. I will say the ratio of parmesan cheese to Caesar salad was a bit off, there was so much parmesan on my salad that I had to pick some off to make it enjoyable. Stephanie's allows you a $28 credit as your lounge visit, and everything is priced here so that you don't really get away without spending at least that much. Misleading menu implies that there's a side included - says "with all sandwiches" but Mac n cheese was listed with all the sandwiches so to me, it implied there was a side included. Catching the AM flight on American to North Carolina. Got to the airport way earlier than I had expected and figured I would grab breakfast before my flight. Location wise, this was awesome because my gate was just to the right and down the hall way. Friendly warning, if you are having breakfast here, be sure to bring your sun glasses. The sun comes right up and shines directly into this restaurant and it's super blinding. I another warning, because of MA blue laws, no alcohol can be served before 8am. So although this place is open and there is a bartender, they will not be able to serve until 8am. I felt so bad for the bartender that was there. I could not count the amount of times people came up to order a drink and she had to explain that MA laws prohibit the sale of booze until 8am, which lead to some very ticked off people. Trust me people...the bartender wants to serve you, she can't make money just standing around telling people she can't serve them. I ordered the breakfast burger (Medium Rare). It was hot, juicy and well dressed with the fresh standard fixings that come with a burger. The over-easy egg was cooked perfectly and the roasted potatoes was crispy and seasoned just right (No need to add anymore salt). My one concern I need to convey is the smell. Being that it was early in the morning, and the restaurant had not been open for very long, I will have to guess that the evening crew is not washing the floors or the table/bar tops with clean water. The place smelled like dirty bar water everywhere. I had to change spots from where I was originally sitting, and even then the smell was still very pungent. I had to take a sanitizer wipe and wipe down the entire counter around me, and though it helped significantly, it still had the funk floating around in the air. (Leadership....Please address this immediately). I'll be flying again later next month and will make it a point to come back and have breakfast and try another item on the menu that I am interested in trying. read more

Service was slow. I waited nearly 10 minutes for someone to come to the table. The old fashioned I had did. It have any simple syrup or sugar in it. The Stephi burger was bland and had zero season on it. the cook on it was unbalanced. One side was pink and the other gray. The fries tasted like they'd been sitting for a while and were also unseasoned. I was not offered any condiments for the burger. It's been years since I've gone to Stephanie's on Newbury, and it was always more about the location and vibe than the food. I used the Priority Pass (RIP restaurant benefit) at the airport location and was pleasantly surprised by my food, which is why I decided to leave a review (normally, I would not review an airport place). You place the order at the front counter. The brunch/breakfast menu is pretty limited but has something for everyone. I got the benedict, which had perfectly poached eggs and thick grilled ham. The home fries were very well seasoned and came with seasoned red onions. Food took under 10 minutes, and they packed everything I needed, including ketchup and utensils. A great option in the airport. Of course, things are a bit overpriced, but that is to be expected in the airport. Big restaurant place with plenty of seating available.
