This is my first visit to the Stonefire Grill in Rancho Cucamonga. I'm very impressed. The food was hot and fresh, and very tasty. My attention was immediately drawn to how clean the restaurant was. I observed that the employees interacted very well with each other, and the servers interacted very well with the customers. I had a pepperoni pizza and the sea bass. My friend had the barbeque chop salad and hummus. All of it was prepared very well. I would rate this restaurant 5 stars. As much as we wanted to like STONEFIRE grill, we just couldn't. We ordered a variety of foods; a starter, salad, sandwich, ribs, chicken. I asked at the register if the starter would come out first. She said "It should." Reality was it didn't. My son's sandwich came out first. About four minutes later, my daughter's salad arrived. Then we waited. A shared salad, which was part of the ribs and chicken combo for two arrived. Shortly afterwards, a side Brussels sprouts dish arrived. After finishing that off, we were still waiting for the kids meal and ribs / chicken. I asked for a manager and was given the explanation that they are like a mom and pop restaurant; as food is prepared it is sent. At this point we were past 15 minutes waiting for the last three dishes; my son and daughter both finished their meals. While finishing up listening to the manager's excuses on why one table can't get all their food within a minute of each other, the starter and last three plates arrived. Great place ! Order at the register, self seating. They bring your food in courses not just all at once. I had the lunch special for 7$ chicken tortilla soup and Cesar salad with bread sticks it was filling! Petite salad is a good size ! Got my younger sister the kids chicken strips came with a side choice she chose a bread stick. Oddly they don't have fries ???? Which was no problem at all... Kristen came to our table asked us how we were doing she was very professional and nice (I'm assuming shes the manager)we talked about fries not being on the menu and she had us try their potato chips with siracha ranch .... I DO NOT recommend working at this location, the General manager name Chris (female) harasses the workers non stop and something needs to be done about it. You want happy workers, but how would you have workers that look forward to going to work, when they dread going to work because of an unprofessional general manager. We ordered the Tri-tip Special for $19.99. The Tri-tip and bread sticks...were super flavorful. The mashed potatoes were a bit gluey in texture. This was our fault for not reading the description of the Coleslaw...but we both HATE nuts in our food. After removing all of them...it was eatable...and just okay. Pretty sure we will return...and bring more family...since the portion sizes are very generous....and suited for kids. Looking forward to trying the ribs and pizza. read more

I've heard about Stonefire Grill on the radio for years. I was always miffed because there wasn't one in our area in the IE. I was pleasantly surprised when I found one in Rancho Cucamonga that had just opened up. I've tried different bbq type places n I was hoping this place was going to be good. Although we called late on a Saturday night to pick up some food, I was disappointed that they were out of the 2 things we really wanted to try, which was the pulled pork sandwich and the Caesar salad. But it was fortunate for us, because we tried several other items that were really delicious. We wanted a few different flavors that we could to try and share. We ordered the bbq beef sandwich, the steak & cheese sandwich, the breadsticks and the Asian salad with tri tip. Plus the brownie and Sandy's cookie. Wow, Wow, Wow!!! It all way exceeded our expectations. The bbq beef and steak sandwiches had such juicy and tender meat. We both really enjoyed them. The breadsticks were awsome. So fresh n perfectly seasoned. The brownie was really rich so a couple bites will do. The Sandy's cookie was one of the best cookies I've ever had. My BF is not a salad guy. If he does eat a salad, it has to be basically plain iceberg lettuce n croutons. We ordered the Asian salad. Every item was nicely seperated on top, so that I could pull apart what I knew he wouldn't want to eat. I basically put everything back in but the scallions and added the nice crispy wontons on top. I made it for myself n asked if he wanted a bite. Surprisingly he said yes. I couldn't believe it! He loved it so much that he asked for his own. This is someone who doesn't understand the concept of meat on a salad, or fruit n meat combined. But he loved everything. He ate the mandarin oranges, the meat, peppers, nuts, etc. We both ate it all. As good as the sandwiches were, we actually loved the salad the best! It was so refreshing, especially in this warm weather. Since they had just opened, we figured they need some more time to get all their daily metrics figured out on their most popular dishes and quantities being sold. Great food! We went there with a party of 12 for our sons family birthday dinner. The choices were great. From pizza, to a meaty meal, incredible salads and delicious salmon. I had the salmon and it was just as good as fancier restaurants. The price was great too . I wouldn't consider this a place for a quiet dinner or a date, but for a family meal it was terrific. Just got a Cobb with chicken salad. What a disappointment to say the least! Both the chicken and bacon were BURNT TO A CRISP, the chicken was so dry and hard you could hardly bite down on it?! I tried calling and no answer went to the answering service, so I waited and no one came to the phone? So ridiculous! Idk how busy it was but, why would the chef allow that to go out! This is a bbq concept restaurant with a variety of meats, sandwiches and salads. Order and pay at the counter, retrieve your dinner ware and find yourself a table. With the help of an electronic device, a server will bring out your food in a timely manner. Self serve fountain drinks and bottled beer. The food was tasty, however some of the sandwich and meat portions were small. The salads were good and served in adequate portions. This is a great restaurant for families and kids. Children meals looked yummy and filling. Although there were no waiters or waitresses, the serving staff was immediately available and very helpful. During these times of quarantine I'd like to suggest that everyone call stonefiregrill.com ...they a have a delivery service or you can pick it up at the restaurant. I live in a senior community here in Rancho Cucamonga and we've been going to Stonefire Grill since they opened. They have something for everyone they even have many vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. They're Mesquite BBQ tri-tip or the pepper garlic topped with Gorgonzola butter are cooked to perfection... two of my favorites are the sea bass and the salmon they're wonderful at Stonefire Grill. The boneless chicken breast I highly recommend with the lemon garlic. And if you're looking for a salad their list is extensive you will like all of them. And the salads come 4 different sizes. And don't forget the assorted pastas and pizzas. They also have great pulled pork and steak and cheese ,french dip sandwiches and they have the Good Ol American cheeseburger. And I think their breadsticks are everyone's favorite. I called Stonefire Grill to see if they were open Ben, the general manager said definitely they were open for takeout and we chatted for a while because he knows many of us come there or we order and have food picked up quite often . Been offered to donated tri-tip steak the boneless chicken breast and their garlic mashed potatoes that are my absolute favorite and the Stonefire Grill BBQ chopped salad. And we brought it home packed it up for the seniors and walked around and gave it out to people that we know really needed it. It's a hard time now and a lot of them are shut-ins they can't get out to get food so I would like to tell Ben thank you so much for your generosity and the love that you showed to our community today. A new restaurant in town. We had to check it out. The good: the food was good. The bad: the ordering process is not good. You walk in...look at a really confusing menu, try to find a place to stand among other people waiting to order. You order at the cash register right as you walk in, and then go find a place to seat and go get your drinks and plates and silverware on your own. It's not convenient, or inviting. It's confusion when you first walk in. The system is not appealing and doesn't work efficiently. read more

I placed an order online and got there at my given pickup time. My entire order was ready except for the side of marinara sauce. I was told by the waitress that they were just warming it up and it would take a few minutes. She said she was going to get it but she never came back. After waiting 15 minutes, another waitress came and asked us if we had been helped yet. I let her know our food was ready but we were just waiting for our sauce and that we had been waiting for a while. She left to go get the sauce and returned about 5 minutes later. After waiting for 20 minutes for sauce, the rest of our order was cold. To make matters worst, When I got home and took everything out I realized that the waitress did not close the sauce properly and it had spilled in the bag. The girl at the counter told me she was just waiting on breadsticks. I than sat/stood for 30 minutes while my "breadsticks" were being made. I could have gone and dropped my family off at home if they would have told me none of my food was actually ready. The fact the manager just said sorry is joke. I went to get a to go order. Hen I arrived there were 2 cashiers then he left. The girl,Cecilia, never looked up . She was fiddling with her glove. After 5 or 6 minutes, another patron askednifninwas ready to order or ws inviting. I replied " o am waiting on her to help me". She then looked up and took my order. She then told me I could wait in the car or have a seat. I chose to wait inside. I watched staff assemble and sets all in" orders in the holding area. I waited almost 40 minutes for Cecilia to call my name. I watched where she pulled order from and it had been sitting there a while. I mentioned to Cecilia that order had been itching there a while and was probably cold. She offered no apology and just said I don't know. It seems if a customer has been waiting a long period of time you would at least say sorry for the long wait. She said nothing and just said your sauces are in the bag.
