I've been meaning to write an update for Stone Fire so here it is. As a result of this one bad experience, I must say that the response from management was awesome! Travis, the store manager, immediately reached out to me to resolve the issue and remedy the problem with that one employee. Travis was very nice and very professional. Corporate management also sent me an email and were very concerned about my bad encounter. I have since been to Stone Fire many, many times and every experience thus far has been a positive one. The food is always delicious. And should you ever experience a problem, rest assured that Stone Fire management (at both the restaurant and corporate level), will immediately reach out to you to discuss the problem. Where to begin....this is my FAV place to eat when I go out to eat. More of a home cooked meal kinda girl (eating out makes my stomach hurt) but if you mention stonefire I'm there! Their secret sauce is sooooo good on anything on their menu!! I've tried multiple times to talk to the staff and asked for the recipe and none give it up. Everything on their menu I've tried and everything is delicious! My fav tho is their salad, breadsticks and tri tip pizza! I switch up the salads all the time but all are delicious! You have to dip your breadsticks in the sauce! AMAZING! Hands down best place to eat!! The atmosphere is nice. Could go in there in a bikini if you wanted and no one would judge or in your wedding dress. Best place!! The food was great. The service was spot on. The ordering counter service was confusing , if we had not been so hungry we would have left. They should make it an order at the table style resturant. The portions are way more then suggested. read more

Love stonefire. It's a great family restaurant. I can't complain about anything on the menu but our favorites are the stonefire BBQ chopped salad, BBQ chicken, lemon garlic salmon, and cauliflower (pita or whole). They can get pretty crowded sometimes but even in the busiest times service is great. read more

My experience at Stone Fire this past weekend was exceptional. We had some problems when it came to ordering, but the manager came over and helped us out. The waiters may be high school and college students, but they never fail to use manners and make the experience awesome. It has become my go to place when I have a friends and family over, since there is food for everyone and they offer affordable packages. They are also awesome when it comes to catering with their efficient delivery. read more

customer service here is SERIOUSLY lacking. i came in at 12:00 on 3/14/19 & waited in a 20 minute line to order. after ordering a few things, i handed the cashier a $100 bill. i was then immediately told that she could not accept the bill because at this time of day, there's not enough money in the register to make that transaction. as a cashier myself, i know that she was being pure lazy as it would've taken her a minute at most to ask for a few bills from her manager. absolutely ridiculous. i had no other form of payment as i allot myself $100 a week for meals (again i'm a cashier lol), so i was forced to leave in front of a huge line of people. embarrassing & pure humiliating- since it looked like I had to leave since I couldn't afford to pay the bill. don't get me wrong, the food here is wonderful. however, there's no point of returning if certain staff is so eager to turn people away. disappointing :( read more

I was there last night March 10, 2019, there's a lady taking names at the door and told us not to order yet because there's no table available, we waited 30 minutes and getting ready to order but the cashier told us they run out of chicken. I said why did that lady who took our name did not tell us that there's no more chicken and she ask me if I want to talk to the manager. She called the manager and the manager said she told the lady to tell the customer no chicken but she never told the customer and the manager did not even apologized. They have decent food. However, I really wish they allowed substitutes for sides. My family members with Celiac Disease would love to enjoy Stonefire's sides of breadsticks but due to their body's unpleasant reaction to gluten they are unable to do so. When they ask to substitute the side of breadsticks with a gluten-free option, they are told that Stonefire doesn't substitute sides. So, my family members are left paying for a side that they cannot eat. Pretty unfortunate that it's 2017 and this restaurant can't help out people with a diagnosed intolerance to gluten. Hope they change this policy soon. read more

I really enjoyed my experience at Stonefire grill this past weekend. The entire staff were very caring but this curly haired spunky lady named Rachel in particular went out of her way to help me find a crowd pleaser package to order for my party of 25. She was very patient, enthusiastic, and eager to help in any way possible. She was an absolute gem even though it was extremely busy she gave us as much time as we needed. I look forward to coming back and having that same level of etiquette shown to my family and I that she demonstrated. read more

Another out of state family graduation party that was terriffic.Stonefire management accommodated our party of 25+ in a very comfortable, gracious way. The staff here is great. The food was delicious, lean and tender. All the sides and salads were excellent. The tri-tip is excellent as well as the pizza and barbeque chop salad. Customer service was very good for this order however the food was a different story. We've been ordering lemon garlic chicken for years but this order was undercooked; chicken was bloody and the full slice carrot cake tasted starchy. It was very disappointing to come home looking forward to a nice meal but turned out otherwise. Unfortunately this has happened more than once in the past. Always love this place. The tri-tip is fantastic and I love the way the serve it on a pizza pan/tray. The pizza's are also very good. Everything I've ever had here has been very good. They've recently gone through a big remodel (I don't recall them closing down, though) and the restaurant is now bigger with more seating. It no longer looks like "Juggles...the worlds first comedy themed restaurant" (anyone remember that? Not good) and felt more like the nice place it is. You can watch them cook the meat and it all looks wonderful. Don't forget the garlic mashed potatoes with full cloves mixed in. The only real drawback is that this is really expensive...the tri-tip individual meal with 10-12 oz of tri-tip is $12.99. Even though it comes with a big salad and two breadsticks, pretty high for a quick-serve restaurant. The two of us seem to never get out of there for less than $40 which makes this more expensive than something like Wood Ranch or Outback...but the food is definitely comparable. read more

This review is mainly for people who are not familiar with Stonefire Grill. All the other reviews say enough about the food which is in deed pretty tasty. This is not your typical sit down and be served restaurant. This is more like a cafeteria. You come in, order at the counter, pay and are then seated. You have to fetch your own plates, cutlery and napkins. Disposable paper/ plastic cups are handed to you at the counter. It is very loud. If you're sitting in the front room you have a direct view of all the kitchen and take out commotion. I really felt like I was just one step above sitting at McDonalds. If you're OK with that then go because as I said before the food was good. I have to say the service was good. It was really busy but the staff was calm and polite. One of the managers helped us move to a different table as soon as we mentioned the cold draft at our table (we had a baby with us). I'm sure we'll go back for take out, just not to sit down. read more

This place is a must stop on my way to and from So Cal. The barbeque is very good, I like the 1/4 chicken, ribs combo. It comes with a large salad and bread sticks. The cheese cake is wonderful. The prices are reasonable and the portions are large. The staff is very friendly. read more

My family and I have been going here for a couple of years now and we really enjoy it. The food is delicious and reasonably priced . The seating is a little cramped on busy days, but nothing to intolerable. The waiters and hostess are usually polite, but as with any restaurant you occasionally get someone a little snarky. They have gotten our orders wrong occasionally, but for the most part they're pretty accurate in that area. All in all it's a great place to feed a lot of people for cheap or get good take out. read more

So Ive had take out from Stone fire in the past, food is good. However I will also say, Stonefire you should stick to take out. Last night I "Dined in" for the first time and honestly, giving me a table to sit at was all I experienced as "service." No one told us we had to get our own plates and silverware, the salad came before our beverages, and a request for ranch dressing went comletely un noticed. Abosolutly hate the concept, despite the good food, I wont be back. If I wanted to serve myself id stay home. read more

Employees were very nice. I enjoy the food here every time I have eaten here. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is the prices. For a salad and tri tip with a drink I paid $17.00. Only been here once, but this is an excellent place for lunch. Their BBQ Chicken Salad is the best salad I have ever tried.... Ever. Simply delicious. The service was great, smiles, felt welcome by staff who knew their menu. This being said I do need to put things in perspective, I am coming from Cedar Rapids where the the dining experiences are less than satisfying. read more

My wife and I ate there at 630 pm last night, we are both up feeling terrible. Diaharia, nausea, and headaches all around. I don't believe they make the food ala minute. I think it all might be precooked and kept warm. Unfortunately our food was probably in the temperature danger zone. Meaning it wasn't kept at the right temp, or was kept for too long. Yuck. This was one of the worst experiences I've had in a long time. Swayed by the glowing reviews of KFI talk show hosts, my daughter and I decided to try it for lunch. Where to start. First of all the cashier had a terrible time getting our order straight. Three kids meals and two salads for the adults. Then somehow the order got eliminated from the system so we didn't get a receipt. We then had to tell him everything we had ordered and he wrote it down. After about five minutes our salads were delivered and looked pretty good. Very large portions. The server said the kids meals would arrive shortly. They didn't. So the original cashier came over and reiterated the three kids meals and said they would be right out. They weren't. Finally a second server came over and asked again what the kids meals were and what sides were involved. Still nothing. Eventually a third person came over and asked if everything was ok. We said no, we're still waiting for the kids to get served. He apologized and went over the order again. Finally, almost 40 minutes after we arrived the kids' food arrived. My Cobb salad was simply bad. It was tasteless, despite my adding salt and pepper. It was very finely chopped and mushy and I ended up leaving most of it. My daughter's salad was "ok". The child's chicken tender dinner for $4.99 consisted of three dry chicken tenders served with a side of 3 carrot sticks and 3 celery sticks. The kids said the mac & cheese didn't have any flavor and they didn't finish it. The only success was the pasta marinera. We couldn't wait to get out of there and won't be returning. read more

My family and I ordered the family meal which included tri tip, rack of ribs, Ceasars salad and breadsticks. We also added garlic mashed potatoes which was delicious. The breadsticks are freshly made and the ribs so tender and fall off the bone. They also have their own bbq sauce that was so flavorful and tangy, very complementing with the tri tip. The staff was very welcoming and offered recommendations that made it easier to choose from their menu. I will definitely stop by again to try something new, maybe pizza. read more

We had a last minute family gathering and we needed a ton food - fast. We called a few places but Stone Fire was the most accommodating and was able to pull together a huge order for us. The staff was so sweet and helped me carry all the food to the car, etc. Their food has always been amazing but I was very impressed by the cater ordering options. I have to say I really enjoy going to Stonefire and every time I go the employees are very helpful and so sweet. Last night I went and the "server" who was so bubbly and sweet ( I think Kyle was his name) helped me when I noticed a mistake with my salad.
