Love stone fire has the best Bbq chopped salad and the pesto is delicious . We always get a individual bbq chopped salad with chicken , small pesto, bread sticks and some mashed potatoes. Love this place for food but only prob they are the worst place to live next to , they have the loudest people closing have some loud carts of some kind that sound worse then the train and to top it off there power washer at 10:00 pm . Last night, 3/10, was insanely busy at this place. Never have I seen it so busy and packed. We would have left after seeing the line if it weren't for Claire's exceptional customer service. She asked if we could hold off on ordering until her coworker found my husband and I a table and she took our names down. We were disappointed when Claire warned us that they sold out of chicken, but she recommended alternatives and helped us with the menu and she was amazingly patient considering the line was out the door and other customers were complaining to her left and right. We waited in line for about 15 minutes before we could order. We were a little disappointed because our food took over 30 minutes and it wasn't all that great. But we understand that it was busy and a lot going on. I think next time we'll just get takeout. The customer service here was exceptional! read more

Every time we visit LA, we make sure to stop here. The tri tip is absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. We also ALWAYS make sure to try the breadsticks, a delicious baked stick of everything good, the ceaser salad, and the chicken! It's a little expensive, but so worth the splurge! read more

I've never had a disappointing meal here! Food quality is that of Wood Ranch... but much more casual atmosphere. Also, the ordering system is like that of Baja Fresh. I love their tri-tips, pork ribs and the cartwheel salad. They also offer excellent catering options. I ordered a huge amount for my husband's birthday party and they include all plates, utensils, serving spoons, napkins, sauces etc. They're pros at it and it makes your job as hostess that much easier! I had been here on a previous occasion with some friends who actually ordered for me. I shared a salad, tri tip and chicken andI very much enjoyed my meal and could not wait to take my spouse there. We visited last Monday and I ordered a small grilled chicken salad. The salad was quite large. I love the mustard vingerette dressing and all of the fresh ingredients. However I thought the chicken on the salad was a little dry. My husband ordered a french dip sandwich which he said was ok, but thought the au jus was bland. I also shared my salad with him and he did enjoy that very much. He prefers a sit down restaurant where you can peruse the menu while not standing in line. But I am sure we will visit again soon to try other things as he took his menu to the table and reviewed it while waiting for our meal. read more

We tried their new Spring menu items. The turkey sandwiches were full of fresh, moist turkey, they use whole berry cranberry sauce, and the bread is soft and delicious. A very good value for $6.99 and you can add a small side dish for an additional $.99. The roasted cauliflower salad is very flavorful with a slight "kick". I don't understand why some people say they are not child-friendly; my observation is that they are too tolerant toward mis-behaving children. During my most recent visit, a couple of young mothers let their toddlers stand in the windows and play with the shades, raising them up and down until I thought they would break them. If your children are too fidgety, McDonalds is always an option. read more

Good variety menu, good portions, great food, and reasonable prices. A must try for lunch or dinner. You oredr first then try to find a seat- it can be busy at dinner. I gave them four stars because their food is really good. However the "Take-Out" service needs improvement. I walked in and ordered take-out and sat waitng for my order for almost an hour. Customers walked in and out picking up orders and placing orders, waiting then leaving with their food. Within that hour waiting I asked several employees at the counter when my order would be ready. Three different staffers told me they were waiting for the meat. 45 minutes in I asked a woman who looked like a manager where my order was. She spoke to the cook behind the kitchen counter and he stated that the meat had been put out a while ago and there it was sitting there in a container the whole time. She did apologize for the wait and gave me free carrot cake. I love Stonefire and I will always be a customer but their take-out section needs improvement. read more

Stonefire Grill has decent food but the one in Valencia has very poor management. I don't appreciate having the manager come up to me and start an argument about which table my wife and myself can sit at. This doesn't make a good dining experience. This is by far the worst foodie experience I've ever had in my years of life. This restaurant has the worst ordering system you cant even imagine. The food was average, but service was below basic. Staff was rude and inconsiderate. But this is what really ticked me off: Before an average meal, I paid for the meal of my family...I received my change from Amanda, the cashier at the front counter. After the meal we went home. I noticed I forgot my change at the table. So I got back to restaurant and supposedly my money has disappeared. The staff could not find the money. I came in on Saturday afternoon to order/ pick up some food for my daughter and her friends because the absolutely love StoneFire Grill. When I walked into takeout I was greeted with a huge smile and hello from an employee named Ashley. She walked right up the the register and dropped what she was doing to help me. As I told her what I wanted she saw she could make it into a package deal kinda thing and saved me about 10$! She was very helpful and sweet. Even when the order was done she was the one to go over the order with me and made sure I was happy with how it all turned out. My favorite restaurant in Valencia! Their portions are rather large. I always get a petite asian salad and I leave completely full! It is a good size salad. We also love getting the breadsticks-they are delicious! We have also had their pizza and some of the other salads. Everything was very good. No offense, but quite possibly the worst pizza I have ever eaten. I'm a vegetarian and my brother ordered me a special pizza when he came over about a month ago. It was the roasted veggie pizza and was just...totally flavorless. In my opinion, the veggies were not roasted at all, but put on the pizza raw before baking. The mushrooms were slimy, the zucchini was WAY too al dente and literally crunched in my mouth when chewing...not good. I prefer very little cheese on my pizza but this way a joke. Maybe a half cup of cheese on the entire 12" pizza, no where near enough sauce. There were entire slices of pizza with no cheese at all and this is not an exaggeration. It was just a very bad pizza all around. Also, the mozzarella is not fresh, but the shredded kind you buy in the package, which was the least of my issues but still worth noting. There was so little sauce that I couldn't taste it to tell you if it was good or not. The kicker is that I didn't say HEY BRO THAT PIZZA SUCKED when he brought it over the first time because, well that's rude. He brought ANOTHER one when he came over last night. Same thing. Totally gross. I had to tell him just so he doesn't waste any more money and I don't find myself eating wheat thins and hummus at 10 o'clock at night after he leaves. read more

I previously left a review where I talked about my experience with the ribs I had about a month ago. I received a response from the restaurant right away. I was told that the ribs are "fall of the bone tender," more or less. The management was very nice and sent a gift card to me to come back and try them again. When I ordered them the last time, they were very fatty. I ordered take out last night; I ordered the BBQ chicken and ribs, with a cartwheel salad and roasted vegetables. The chicken was very good. THAT was fall off the bone tender. The ribs weren't fatty, but the meat was tough. My husband said so as well. It was hard to cut the ribs, too. My husband loved the sauce. The roasted veggies were very good with the feta cheese. The cartwheel salad was different. It was good, but too many tortilla chips and the strips were too big. We will go back, but not for the ribs. read more
