I love all the food here, the service is always great. Today I was helped by Alyssa and she was very helpful and knowledgeable.

This place is one of my favorite places to have lunch or dinner. I love their Grilled Chicken Pesto/bread sticks and my husband loves the tri tip here. This time he went with the BBQ beef sandwich and he was a little disappointed seeing that the sandwich did not have any other ingredients in it besides the beef, but he still enjoyed it. Next time we will make sure to leave some rooms for the cheesecake with blueberry sauce on it. read more

I went to Stonefire today on Saturday and asked them if the lunch specials apply to the weekend. The guy ringing me up said probably. So I paid and looked at my receipt & also looked at the advertisement for the lunch special which was not the same price. Went & spoke to someone & she fixed the situation & apologized which was nice. When my order came up she took care of making sure everything was correct. thanked for her help. When I get home I find that they had added tortilla chips to my salad which gets soggy. In addition, I ordered 1 tri-tip & 1 chicken & lo and behold I've got 2 chicken. I have asked questions of the people there before & they give you an answer but it's not the right answer so it's very frustrating that their people don't know the answers to the questions being asked. I had real high hopes for this place and it really let me down. I was under the impression this place was a full on restaurant. It was more like a fast food version on Wood Ranch crossed with California Pizza Kitchen. The food was good but nothing to brag about. Employees were pleasant but not having that one on one you have with a host(ess), I can't say they were great. I particularly didn't care for a salad that was pre-chopped to the point it was almost like Alicia Silverstone chewing her food for her baby, and the dressing was bland. Even the drinking cups were a buzz kill, like I was in a McDonald's that sold BBQ and Pizza foods. The sides weren't even impressive. If you have BBQ food, baked beans, rolls and corn on the cob should come with your meal.This may piss people off, but this place is just super-hype. The dessert menu sucks too! Spend the extra few bucks and go to either California Pizza Kitchen or Wood Ranch, or even Claim Jumper if you want a real sit down meal. read more

I am never dissapointed with the food at Stonefire Grill. Among my favorites are the Barbeque chopped salad, the boneless chicken breast with lemon garlic, the garlic mashed potatoes and of course the breadsticks. The staff is always cheerful and ready to help. If I ask for something extra after I have received my meal ( a side of Ranch dressing etc.) they are happy to bring it to me. If you want happy taste buds... This is the place to go.... We had Stonefire cater for us at our house for a party. They had one female server named Sharon. The server set up her station very nice and she was very friendly. The food like alway's was good and tasty. I love the garlic chicken and the tri-tip was very good too. Good food, definitely worth the money spent for dinner. Tri-tip for 2 is big enough for, well, 2 persons, and you still have enough left over to take home for your next day lunch. Service is okay, as much as you can expect from unexperienced teenagers, they just bring the food when it is ready, you'll never see them again (checking on you to see if everything is okay). The food is good and the service is outstanding! Try having BBQ tri tip steak on your pizza. It is delicious! Their salads are huge. Usually a small size can feed our family of 4 if we are having other things along with the salad. Their caesar salad dressing is different and delicious, if you like garlic you will love this caesar dressing. The food is always fresh. My husband & I love Stonefire Grill. We eat here religiously once or twice a week, no matter what. I'm trying to eat more of a plant based diet and they have several outstanding dishes that I can enjoy without feeling like I'm missing out. Obviously, their meats are amazing and my husband indulges in all of those. We often add a pizza to the order and share that as well. Recently, we tried the roasted cauliflower and it was so good! Price point is so fair and portions are generous for high quality food. Lastly, my FAVORITE part about Stonefire is the customer service. There are a lot of younger adults and teenagers working there and they are fantastic. They have such a great attitude and work ethic. They're young and learning what it's like to work hard. The management is outstanding in their patience, guidance and support of the staff. They all pride themselves in satisfying the guest. I recently had a very minor mishap on our order and it was not a big deal because "stuff" happens and it is not a common occurrence there and the staff was so apologetic and helpful in making the tiny wrong go right. Tanya, a manager, helped handle the situation and she exceed our expectations!! This is a good restaurant. It has its purpose. Its not a restaurant that I would take a date too, or go to "DINE" necessarily, but none the less they make some tasty stuff. Yes , its a fact they have wonderful breadsticks....that go great with their ceasar dressing. The ceasar is basically pure garlic, very overwhelming in the BEST possible way. Have been coming here for along time now. Never thought about yelping them until tonight when my Job catered them in. It never tastes quite as good when it is catered in but it is still really good food and I have had it at their restaurant as well and it's even better. You can tell they take more time and put more care into the quality of their food when it's served in individual servings. They have some of the best tri tip I've had and good breadsticks. With so many good BBQ places in the Santa Clarita Valley, a place must do alot to make themselves stand out. They're right up there with Rattler's for the best in the Valley and their tri tip is the best in the Valley. I give the nod to Rattler's for the wings AND the sauce but Stonefire has better entree options and they have awesome chicken too! They give me a reason to drive down Cinema drive now that Trader Joe's moved down the street. read more

I've lived in the SCV for 17 years, and one thing I've noticed is the intensity with which Santa Claritans love Stonefire Grill. Countless parties I've attended serve the food with pride. This sort of affiliation reminds me of the way City of LA staff dig Portos. Which is why I tend to avoid the place with an equal intensity. Call it a recessive hipster-foodie snob gene, it's just my tendency to avoid places I consider over-adored. It may be time to re-think that point of view. Having just been in the market for a filling, hearty salad (and not having much time), I found myself at Stonefire. One look at the dining room, packed with suburban archetypes of all imaginable varieties, I quickly turned to the "to-go" counter. I do believe the cashier must have thought me from out of town when I poured over the menu and stated, "I just need a moment--I'm not familiar with your menu." But he was ever-patient and directed me to the signature Tri-Tip Salad. I have to say, the 15-minute wait had me a little huffy, but once I got home all was forgiven. I inhaled that thing. The Tri-Tip is delicious, equally sweet and savory; the black beans and corn add nice flavors and textures, the green onions are a nice touch, and the tangy dressing is drinkable. So I guess I'm falling into line with my fellow SCVers on this one. read more

This place use to be great. We use to go here a couple times a week. There pizza has maybe a tablespoon of sauce on it. Even when you ask for extra sauce you just can't get it! Come on, sauce is cheap. The pizza has great dough and fresh veggies and meat.... But is tasteless because of the lack of any sauce!!! Very disappointed! Waste of my money!! read more

I have eaten food from Stonefire at several events catered by these guys and have always been impressed by the food as well as the staff. This is the first time going into the restaurant. My wife and I walked in to what seemed to be a crowded entry way and thought it was going to take forever. To our surprise it was pretty quick. My food came out quickly. My wife was told that hers was just coming out of the oven and would be there briefly. After a couple of minutes the manager came over to let us know that the pizza was dropped on the floor and that they were making another as quickly as possible. He was apologetic and offered whatever we wanted in it's place if we didn't want to wait. We weren't in any rush and opted to wait. After a short wait the pizza was delivered. We received two follow ups by different servers and one more from the manager to insure that everything was ok and food was acceptable along with an offer for a complimentary dessert. We accepted, choosing the Carrot Cake which also Did Not disappoint. The food, service and attitude of the staff was Great!! We will definitely be back. Keep up the good work . I love this place! When me and my fiancé are hungry this is the first place we think of! We usually do take out to watch a movie at home. They have messed up a couple of times on our simple order but the manager is always sure to fix it right away even offering we keep the messed up order so they don't waste food. We'd lived in SCV for more than 6 years, and although we had always wanted to try this place, for some reason or another we just never had. A couple of weekends ago, we met up with a friend in Irvine who took us to Stone Fire Grill down there. We were impressed with how flavorful and perfectly cooked the food was. My son kept asking when we could go back. Well, we were more than happy to oblige. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the food at the Valencia location is equally good and that the customer service is even better. Even at their busiest, the staff is organized, friendly, attentive and professional. Don't be discouraged by a long line as it moves pretty fast, and they have plenty of seating inside and outside. If you've never been, the process is that you order up front, get a number, find a table, and they bring the food out to you. When it's busy, the staff will take down the number of your party and find a table for you. Stress free for huge parties with kids. :) I recommend the the salmon (lemon butter garlic), tri tip (two ways - bbq sauce and butter Gorgonzola), and the ribs (kid favorite). Today, my husband and I came to Stone Fire to.have lunch. We noticed it was busy so my husband & I decided he would order and I would find a table & I did. The table needed to be cleaned so I asked a waiter if he could clean it up and he had it cleaned right away. Im then approached by a hyper over dramatic young man who asks me "did I assign you this table?" I replied "I dont know what your talking about" he then goes on to tell me "we are assigning tables" and says is your husband (first name) and i said yes. He said we are trying to find you both a table. I said when did you start assigning tables? Dramatic man replies, today! I told him im not moving from the table so we can cancel our order & leave and you can send a manager. Female Manager comes to the table and I explain the above and said you need to have a sign explaining to people that its not self seating or someone to greet us because your greeter FAILED to do so. She did agree we should've been greeted and explained when the restaurant is busy they assign seats. I said thats great but unless you are giving people direction you cant assume they know. Telling people to leave a table because you FAILED to explain what your doing is your fault not the paying customer!! Food was good service was poor, so be prepared to be moved even thougjh theres NO ONE but drama man greeting customers who obviously cant do his job or they need to rethink adding signage NO SELF SEATING TODAY!! read more

This is one of our weekly (at minimum ) restaurants to visit for a delicious meal. The garlic, lemon extra virgin olive oil on the salmon is the tastiest ever! The service is always efficient, and friendly. Everyone seems in sinc with one another and the clientele. Everyone is quick to greet you upon entering the restaurant. Food is always great here but I am writing this review over a tickey tack policy. I ordered 2 salads and a half basket of Bread sticks and with my order I received 2 small sides of BBQ sauce. The kid working was just doing his job and informed me if I wanted more I would have to pay for more. I asked him I am supposed to only use this little bit of BBQ sauce with 6 bread sticks and 2 salads. Customer service is key- now I left irritated and will second guess going back over something small. read more

I have yet to have anything bad here. They recently remodeled and it is way bigger, and looks really nice. The staff is always neat looking, polite and professional. The food is out of this world. The chicken is really good, but the tri tip is amazing. Their salads are huge (share a petite), best breadsticks I've ever had, mashed potatoes are so yummy, and their pesto pasta is really really good, albeit odd looking.
