Despite the inflated prices we left with full bellies and happy hearts! The chowder was good. A little bland in my novice chowder opinion but creamy and warm with lots of clams and potatoes. The lobster roll had a great portion of lobster and the baked potato was hot with all the fixings. My husband enjoyed his lobster salad that also had a great portion of lobster on top. Overall we were pleased so I was surprised to see so many recent low star reviews. It wouldn't be my first choice to try again only because there are so many other options but it was a nice dinner!

I decided to order a Small Trapped Meal ($24 plus tax) with a Small Lobster Roll, bag of Cape Cod Sea Salt Chips, watermelon cubes, 2 homemade Maine spice cookies, and a fresh lemonade. My order was prepared to order in about 8 minutes. I enjoyed my food outside. The Lobster Roll (3 oz of knuckle & claw meat in mayo) on a toasted New England hot dog roll. The watermelon and chips were good sides for the Maine style lobster roll. The 2 homemade sweet Maine spice cookies were soft and chewy. The iced lemonade was refreshing, as I enjoyed the rest in the ride after finishing my meal.

They serve various size of lobsters as well as cook them for you. However they do not provide place to eat or utensils so they function more as a market than a restaurant. They have sort of a parking lot where you can park. There are few works on the back hanging around and 2 younger staff that take care of orders. Lobster has quite few size options and some explanations for terms they use. We weren't sure what to get but figure we wanted larger size lobsters. SLX which is the largest ones were $14 per pound. They can also let you pick them live as well but we chose 2 lb ones. They charge $1.5 to boil but it's a-lot of work to boil properly so it's worth it. We waited about 20-25minutes or so and they also chilled it so that we can take it home to eat. Luckily we had ice box with some ice packs so it kept the lobster fresh until getting home. Once we got home we opened the bag to eat the lobster. It's a huge lobster with large claws. We got a large bowl and separate plate to eat. It was a massive task to crack the claws as one of the claw was huge and very tough. We ended up using a hammer and dull knife to crack them open. The meat was tender and sweet. One of the best maine lobster we had. Overall the place provides fresh maine lobster for good price. Only issue is that they don't serve it so you will need to plan to take it home and have tools to crack them open. They also only take cash. If i were to come back i would give them a call a head of time to have the lobster prepared to go and pick them up which seems to be what other people were doing.
