We came for my Mom's birthday. My parents have been living in the area and wanted to try this place really bad! The ambiance was like a typical steakhouse vibe; classy and simple. The service was excellent, from the hosts to the waiters and waitresses. All the food was delicious. My drinks were good too and pretty strong. My Mom also enjoyed the desserts. I could see coming back for date night or trying another location soon!

Delicious as always! The food was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The service was attentive and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Stoney River never disappoints--definitely one of my favorite spots for a quality meal.

This particular location is great. We always have good service. But the stars of this restaurant are: tuna tartare (one of the best we had at a great price) and the one and only ribeye cowboy cut! The best $50 spend on a steak! And I've tried so many steaks from all the fancy restaurants and no one beats this one. It's always cooked to perfection and comes with a delicious side (potatoes gratin are delicious) . When my family wants a good tasty steak we always come here for it. Ambiance oh well just like any average restaurant:)

Stoney River is a great place for date night dinner. This restaurant has many options in each category: sides, mains, drinks, and desserts. The restaurant is located on the corner of a busy street corner that houses a Target, Hobby Lobby, Publix, and Home Depot - just to name a few. The interior screams "upscale," and the bar area is located directly in the epicenter which gives the restaurant amazing lighting and a different feel than other dinner spots. My husband and I were here for date night on this particular visit, and when I say this place fills you up.. it FILLS YOU UP! We were able to take home leftovers for just about three days. We each ordered a side salad which was HUGE. Honestly, I was filled up in the middle of eating my side Caesar, prior to my dinner. We each ordered the meatloaf which came with two sides (au gratin potatoes - we each ordered this, creamed spinach, and Gouda Mac and cheese). The sides here are WONDERFUL. The Gouda Mac and cheese is quite cheesy, and as someone who is lactose intolerant (and should NOT have cheese), I still do. The potatoes are perfection, but my personal favorite is the creamed spinach.

I came here for my mom's birthday and it's a solid traditional steakhouse with good flavors and portions, prices seemed pretty on par with this kind of restaurant, around $40-60 per steak entree which comes with a side. It's a very indulgent place, and I did think that everything was quite heavy and salty so be prepared to just work slowly through your food. The complimentary biscuits are yummy but salty, very buttery, and come with butter and a berry compote looking sauce. My favorite things were the lobster bisque and french onion soup, parmesan fries, and NY strip. The coffee cured steak I was a little disappointed in as it seemed very over seasoned and salty. Overall, I thought the experience was nice but food too heavy. I'm not sure if I would come back unless it was with someone who really wanted the American steakhouse experience.

Visited here with my work team and really enjoyed it! Tried the crab cake appetizer and shared with the team -- big enough for 4 to share, the 22 oz bone in ribeye, and the rolls with apple butter. It was all absolutely amazing! The ribeye was perfectly cooked and juicy. The Dijon mustard sauce with the crab cake was super good too. I really liked the unique apple butter with the rolls as well!

Stoney River is so underrated. We have had dinner here 3 times this year and every single time has been fantastic! The steaks, the sides and the appetizers- all fantastic! We recently tried the coffee rubbed filet, which was delicious! We love the sea bass, the ribeye, the filet, and the wedge salads. If you have room, which I doubt you will, order the chocolate cake or the carrot cake!!

We came with a party of six to celebrate my Mimi's birthday, and everything from the food to the service was amazing. The atmosphere is elegant, warm, and upscale without ever feeling stuffy. It has that classic steakhouse feel that makes it perfect for a birthday dinner, date night, or any special occasion. We started with the oysters and calamari, and both were fantastic. I ordered the Center Cut Filet Oscar style, and it was cooked perfectly. For the table, we shared the onion rings, corn, and garlic mashed potatoes. The garlic mashed potatoes are easily my favorite side here. I'm obsessed and could probably eat an entire family size serving by myself. I also tried some of my dad's lobster bisque, which was so good that it has officially made my list of things I need to order for myself next time. My sister ordered the Dover sole, and after trying some of hers for the first time, I'm now debating getting that on my next visit too. Everything was delicious, and the portions at Frankie's are always incredibly generous. You definitely won't leave hungry! My espresso martinis were also amazing. I'm pretty particular about how I like them, and they made them exactly how I wanted, which I really appreciated. Since we were celebrating a birthday, they brought out their famously gigantic slice of cake for the table. There was more than enough for all six of us to share, and I even took some home for my fiancé. They also sent us home with their complimentary muffins for breakfast the next morning, which is such a fun touch and something I always look forward to because they are delicious. We had two servers taking care of our table, and both were incredibly attentive, professional, and welcoming. They truly made us feel like family and made my Mimi's birthday dinner feel special. Frankie's continues to be one of those places we can count on for incredible food, amazing cocktails, generous portions, beautiful ambiance, and top tier service. There's a reason it remains one of my favorites, and we'll happily keep coming back!

The table was decorated with little hearts and a card to wish us a happy anniversary. Our servers were a team made up of Deija, Celia and Jackson. They were all very attentive and friendly. Deija was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and when we had any questions she was able to answer them without missing a beat. They brought out their warm rolls with a side of butter. Those were very good. We started off with an appetizer of their fritto misto. This dish was fried lightly and very delicious. I wanted a caesar salad and my husband mentioned sampling some of my salad. Deija overheard this and split the caesar salad which I thought was very thoughtful and nice. I couldn't have imagined eating it in addition to the bread, appetizer, entree and side that was ordered. So I really appreciated it being split. For our entrees I ordered the double cut filet mignon with shareable mashed potatoes and my husband ordered the bone in ribeye with the corn soufflé. My picture of the ribeye came out blurry so it is not pictured, sadly. We really enjoyed our steaks, they were phenomenal. The char, temperature and the way they were cooked were very delicious and to our liking. After we finished up our entrees we were going to ask for their dessert menu. Celia brought out a cheesecake with strawberries with a plate decorated in chocolate that said Happy Anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised and thankful for the dish. Deija mentioned that she hoped it was a good choice based on some food items I mentioned to her I could and could not have. We were excited and happy with the surprise dessert, it was delightful. We really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant as well as the food. The entire occasion was heavenly. We will definitely be back in the future.

We arrived 15 minutes before our reservation, but were told our table was already ready, so we were seated. (The restaurant tables are very close together, so be aware that if anyone in your party is wheelchair bound, it may be difficult for them to maneuver around.) The restaurant is kept very warm inside, and I'm usually someone who feels cold easily, but even I was rather hot. A woman brought water glasses and a water carafe to our table and said, "If you want something besides water, just let me know," and then walked off. So, in my mind, that woman was a food assistant or a food runner. Turned out, she was our waitress! She later stopped by, didn't introduce herself and didn't ask if we'd ever been there before, but did ask if we wanted an appetizer. We ordered Potato Pancakes. She also asked if we wanted bread service, so we said yes. We did notice from other conversations at the very close tables near ours, that many of the customers are regulars and have their favorite waitstaff. The manager had stopped by a table to regrettably inform a couple that their favorite waiter was out for 2 weeks. So, that did give us hope that if they have regulars, it must be good. The Potato Pancakes were delicious! (I didn't even stop to snap a picture because we were very hungry!) My husband ordered the "Bier" + Cheese Burger ($16.95), and I ordered the Pork Shank "Schwweinehaxe" ($34). The waitress said she had to check the availability of the Pork Shank, so I told her that if it wasn't available, to put in Chicken Wienerschnitzel. Then she didn't come back to let us know what the kitchen said. My husband flagged her down to find out if the pork shank was available, and she said she'd forgotten to come back, but that it was. He also told her that it was my birthday, so she brought out a cute birthday tea light for the table. The food was absolutely delicious, and for the price point, you can easily see why people are regulars there! The pork shank was enormous! (We ate off of it 2 more times after we took it home. The restaurant gave us extra gravy at no charge, too.) The rosemary mashed potatoes were very good! The presentation was lovely! My husband really enjoyed his burger. Then for dessert, our waitress brought out a slice of tiramisu with a wedge of chocolate cake over it, berries, whipped cream, and a little birthday candle in it. Turned out really wonderful! Will definitely go back to this unique spot!

First-time visit to Noona Steak and Seafood in Duluth -- and wow, the food was impressive…read more We had an early 5:15 p.m. reservation through Resy and received clear confirmation and reminder communications from the restaurant. Parking was a challenge due to Valentine's Day and the sheer number of people dining out. That said, parking is often tight in Duluth because of the many restaurants, so it's wise to allow extra time. My wife and I were promptly greeted and seated upon arrival, and our server quickly came over to take our drink orders. I have to mention our server, Maddie, who was one of the most pleasant and personable people we've encountered in a long time while dining out. She was a textbook example of what makes for a great dining experience. At that point, I learned the restaurant was offering a prix fixe Valentine's Day menu, which hadn't been communicated beforehand. While not unusual for the holiday, it did catch me by surprise. Maddie handled the situation professionally when I asked to speak with a manager, and Leon came over quickly. After I explained, they were able to accommodate us by offering the items à la carte, which worked out well since we chose to skip one course and dessert. As for the food -- it was outstanding. My wife had the beet salad and said it was the best she's ever had. I ordered the wedge salad, which was very good. She chose the shrimp appetizer, while I had the stuffed mushrooms; both were excellent. We each ordered the 6-oz filet, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The mashed potatoes and green beans complemented the steak nicely, and I especially enjoyed the house-made steak sauce, which paired very well with the filet. I also had the opportunity to speak with executive chef and owner George Yu, who was engaging and shared that they cook exclusively over open flames using well seasoned cherry and oak wood from a single supplier. I was even able to thank the chef who prepared our steaks in the wood-fired kitchen. Overall, it was a fantastic Valentine's Day dinner at Noona Steak and Seafood in Duluth, GA.

The garlic mushroom cream crostini is a must try if you love mushrooms, that was my favorite appetizer. The kimchi cornbread was super unique, a bit spicy for me but good flavor. My husband had some St. George Island oysters which were super thick and meaty. I had the duck rigatoni, it was very rich and I liked how chewy the noodles were, but I did find a few bones in the sauce. Our toddler had a plate of mashed potatoes which I tried, and no joke they were the best mashed potatoes I've ever had, so garlicky and super creamy. For dessert I had a yummy chocolate cake, and my husband had the creme brulee which he said was good.

I was really looking forward to trying the oysters, but I didn't realize their menu changes often so unfortunately, no oysters this time. A little sad about that! We decided to order pretty much everything off the à la carte menu. Overall, the food was just okay to me. The Brussels sprouts were the hardest to eat they were basically raw, just thinly sliced with sauce poured over. It would've been much better if they were at least steamed or grilled a bit. The mushrooms, though, were absolutely BOMB! If I didn't know what it was, I would've thought it was some sort of meat dish super soft, flavorful, and delicious. Definitely the highlight of the meal. The Wagyu, on the other hand, was a big disappointment. For the price, it was tough and chewy when it should've been buttery and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Overall, the place is cute and the vibes are nice, but the food was overpriced for what it was. I'd only come back for those mushrooms they were that good.

I placed an order for everything on the carte menu. Food was fun and a few of the dishes caught me off guard, in a good way. Pros. We loveeed the maitake mushrooms. This dish was one dish my friend and I had low expectations for. Ironically it's the only dish we would go back for! The bucatini I also had low expectations for. I hardly order pasta, from non pasta specialty places, because the pasta is 99% of the time going to be overcooked. BUT this bucatini was cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was rich but not too heavy and just enough to cover the noodles without drowning. The crab taste was pretty faint. If it weren't listed on the menu I wouldn't even think it were in the dish. Cons. The brussel sprout salad was honestly almost inedible. It is a raw shaved brussel sprout salad, dressed as a Caesar salad. Although not bad tasting, the core of the sprouts was not tender but dry and hard. There was also a lot of it. Most disappointing was the "waygu ribeye". The quality was pretty horrible. The piece we got had silver skin as well as chunks of fat. I wish I got a picture of the leftover fat from the steak but if you look at my picture you can clearly see slices of just fat. I love a little fat on a well cooked ribeye and do not mind paying for it. But paying $50 for a probably 8oz "waygu" ribeye with only half of it palatable is wild. Regardless, I'm actually going back in a couple of days with my husband because of those amazing mushrooms.. though as I am writing this review I'm debating on canceling my reservation, ordering the mushrooms to go, and just going elsewhere. lol

Not here. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was excellent and with a wide variety to choose from. Large helpings. I love to snap pictures of others food but really could only do that with the Greek salad that my neighbor had ordered. I had lunch option for sushi. The gal across me ordered Cioppino. The sandwiches looked marvelous and saw several people packing up half of their dishes to take home. The ambiance is very clean and crisp. Even though the kitchen is in the middle of the back of the restaurant... A classic open style that seems to be popular these days... It was not that loud even as I was leaving and it was still pretty full around 2:00.

Not to the point anyone waited a long time for a correction and with a party as large as ours I think they did a great job. The food was good. We were served three appetizers [chopped salad, bourbon glazed brussels, seafood fondue] family style. I don't eat pork so I loved that the bacon was on the side for the brussels, which were delicious, and the chopped salad was equally as good. I don't eat shellfish either so I didn't try the fondue, but everyone around me who did, enjoyed it. The entree I had at the restaurant was the pan seared chicken which was pretty good although it could have used a pinch of salt and a squeeze of lemon. I also had the cacio e pepe to go and it may have been my favorite thing I've had thus far from here. I did not order any beverages other than water, but next time I think I'll try a cocktail as they looked tasty. I live an hour plus away from this location so I probably won't be returning soon, but if in the area again I would definitely eat here again.
