Chicken dinner with the macaroni and cheese
    Jason H.

Been here quite a few times for work lunches. It's a very solid lunch spot with an upscale feel. They have a little bit of everything to choose from. I like the chicken dinner as well as the prime rib. But the two stars are the macaroni and cheese and the carrot cake. Neither are average by any means! Trust me, just get both! Service and atmosphere are always fantastic.

Located @ 5245 Peachtree Pkwy Peachtree Corners, GA 30092 Health Score 90 = A on 5/4/2025 Alisha was our waitress today and she was an outstanding server. Very efficient with our orders and she offered service with a smile. She checked on our table multiple times. For an appetizer we enjoyed the Hong Kong Shrimp, and for dinner we enjoyed the Cypress Salad and the Salmon Salad. The food was delicious and the aroma from the kitchen made me want to order more food. The ambiance was busy with families dining in for lunch. Without a doubt, I'd definitely recommend this restaurant for lunch and dinner. It was the Hong Kong Shrimp for me. It's my favorite dish and can be chosen for an appetizer or your entree.

This place has great service and great food. We had a business meeting a few weeks ago and the service was superb. A couple of days ago I went and had the seared ahí tuna with rice and fresh cut tomatoes Cierra was very pleasant to work with, she ensured that my water was always full, that I had the food cook to ordered and light conversation. The restaurant is clean, lots of windows which gives it a wide open concept. I have had the prime rim there and it is also on point but this time I did not have it. My friend ordered the dip in sandwich but I did not take a picture.

PILE HIGH ROASTED PRIME RIB WITH THE JUS, FF & HORSERADISH DIP!'

Invited 2 out of town guests to J. Alexander's, Peachtree Pkwy, yesterday! They loved the fried calamari (perfectly tender inside and crisp outside)! Our entrées (main courses, really, bcoz Entrée is French for appetizer) consisted of the Salmon (cooked perfectly) & Burger (asked for Medium came out well done) for our friends, the Cod Fish Taco for my wife & the Prime Rib French Dip for me! Everyone loved their MC!! My French Dip was the Best I ever had - piled high, pink roasted tender beef with the Jus & Horseradish. The fries were absolutely great! My wife loved her Fish Taco and Rice 'n Beans side, however they could have used less (1/2 less) cole slaw & more Cod (1/2 more) in the Tacos. Our server, Jacob was exceptional, and right on top of our every necessities. Professional & knowledgeable for sure!! Thanks Jacob! One small detail though... the silverware needs polishing before being given to us in a napkin roll up - an easy task the servers should easily administer to.

the service is impeccable and I thought that would be the best thing about the place until I ate the food, the menu is very diverse so you'll definitely find something you like and anything you choose will taste amazing.

    Tuna ahi burger
    Jen S.

Got the ahi tuna burger with fries (around $17) and it was pretty good. I think this was the special of the week. A large portion of fries came with it and it's thin fries. My only thing is that the dish, both the burger and the fries started to get a bit too salty halfway through. I saw other tables getting the salads which were huge and looked good so might try that next time. Service was truly amazing, from the ppl who were greeting and leading you to your table to the ppl taking your order. Ambiance and decor is nice, it soorttttt of reminds me of a Cheesecake Factory but rather than overwhelming chatter, it's pretty calm and quiet. I would say this is like a place to grab lunch with your family on a Sunday if that makes sense.

I love to snap pictures of others food but really could only do that with the Greek salad that my neighbor had ordered. I had lunch option for sushi. The gal across me ordered Cioppino. The sandwiches looked marvelous and saw several people packing up half of their dishes to take home. The ambiance is very clean and crisp. Even though the kitchen is in the middle of the back of the restaurant... A classic open style that seems to be popular these days... Not to the point anyone waited a long time for a correction and with a party as large as ours I think they did a great job. The food was good. We were served three appetizers [chopped salad, bourbon glazed brussels, seafood fondue] family style. I don't eat pork so I loved that the bacon was on the side for the brussels, which were delicious, and the chopped salad was equally as good. I don't eat shellfish either so I didn't try the fondue, but everyone around me who did, enjoyed it. The entree I had at the restaurant was the pan seared chicken which was pretty good although it could have used a pinch of salt and a squeeze of lemon. I also had the cacio e pepe to go and it may have been my favorite thing I've had thus far from here. I did not order any beverages other than water, but next time I think I'll try a cocktail as they looked tasty. I live an hour plus away from this location so I probably won't be returning soon, but if in the area again I would definitely eat here again.

It was early so the dining room had only two or three occupied tables and no one at the bar in the back yet. I was greeted immediately and waited a short time for my order to be ready. All the way home I could smell delicious odors from the bag! I ordered Churrasco de Entrada which is grilled skirt steak with chimichurri sauce and two sides. The steak was amazing! Tender, juicy, melted in my mouth. I had grilled vegetables and baked potato for sides. The vegetables were a mixture of broccoli, cauliflower, pea pods, carrots, and zucchini. They were cooked well and flavored with garlic. The foil packet of potatoes contained three small round potatoes also perfectly cooked through not seasoned at all. The meal came with three small dinner rolls and a few packets of butter. Everything was flavorful and delicious; garlic was quite strong though which I loved but might not be everyone's liking. I also ordered Alfajores from the bakery section for dessert. These are little sandwiches with soft shortbread cookies on the outside and soft dulce de leche and coconut filling between them. Four came in the box. This meal was at least two servings for me and it was a wonderful experience. I look forward to eating in the restaurant next time.

The location is in a small plaza with hard time to park because of the amount of businesses around. The restaurant is big with a lot of tables and good for big groups but too dark for my taste, the windows are so dark from outside that if it wasn't for the " open" sign you would think it is close. The food is good, I liked the quality of the chorizo and the skirt steak was grilled properly. I wished the fries were "fresh-cut", I understand that frozen fries are easier but a good steak deserves good fries. Another thing that lowers the experience is that the condiments like ketchup and mayonnaise are in packets like a fast food chain. The service was standard, I had to call my server everytime I wanted a refill. ( even thought the restaurant wasn't full).

We are very much regular steakhouse goers and enjoy ourselves. From arrival, they make you feel like you are the most important guests in the world. We arrived and our car was promptly taken to be parked by valet. Hosts at the front were very friendly and seated us within 5 minutes of our reservation time. The place was extremely busy but it was not rowdy. There was live music being sung which added to the amazing ambiance that was lit well but low enough to be perfect for any occasion. Our servers (which we had three) worked as a great team. We were given a "Happy Birthday" card on our table and a presentation on their steak cuts - amazing. I have never had oysters so we ordered those after my boyfriend's recommendation as well as a chopped Caesar salad. Both were very good. I asked for them to choose a sweet white wine for me between the Moscato d'Asti and Riesling and whichever they chose was the best I've had. Our surf and turfs we chose were amazing and the cowboy butter... whatever you do get the cowboy butter!!!! Everything was brought out perfectly even with the 35-40 minute wait that they notified us about. To top it off they brought this 10-layer confetti cake to us for our birthday and it was so nice. I will say it was not my favorite cake though (my only complaint.. it was pretty plain) The little chocolates were good though We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here. Even got to meet the maître d' who was very kind to us. And let me say that this is the only steakhouse I've ever been to with mouthwash in the restrooms. From the moment we were seated, I knew this place was special. Waiting at our table was a handwritten birthday card, such a thoughtful touch that immediately set the tone for the evening. We started with drinks--a Lemon Drop Martini (good, but nothing to write home about) and a glass of wine. Shortly after, our server brought over a beautiful presentation of the evening's steak cuts, walking us through each selection. The service was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive from start to finish. Now let's talk about the food... Pork Belly - 10/10 Perfectly crispy on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth tender on the inside, finished with a sweet and savory glaze. Absolutely incredible. Caviar - 10/10 Fresh, rich, and beautifully presented. Fried Lobster Tail - 10/10 This was pure perfection. Large, juicy, succulent lobster coated in a light tempura-style batter and fried flawlessly. Every bite felt luxurious. By this point I was almost full, but I knew I had to save room for the main event. Ribeye Oscar Style with Jumbo Lump Crab - 100000000000/10 I swear to God...this was hands down the best steak I've ever had in my life. Perfectly seasoned, beautifully seared, incredibly juicy, and cooked exactly as ordered. Every bite exceeded my expectations. The Oscar topping with the jumbo lump crab took it to another level. This steak alone is worth the drive. My friend ordered the Filet Mignon, which was equally impressive and cooked to perfection. For the sides: Loaded Mashed Potatoes - 10/10 Creamy, rich, and topped with thick-cut bacon. Comfort food at its finest. Au Gratin Potatoes - 8/10 Slightly oilier than I prefer, but still better than most I've had elsewhere. Broccoli - 8/10 It's broccoli! Fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. No complaints. Then came the perfect ending to an unforgettable birthday dinner. My birthday cake arrived covered in colorful sprinkles, complete with candles. For a moment, I felt like a little girl again making a birthday wish. The cake was unbelievably good----! 10/10. My friend ordered the Butter Cake, and it was just as phenomenal. Another 10/10. Final Verdict I've officially become an H&W snob. If you're visiting Atlanta and looking for an unforgettable steakhouse experience, H&W is my number one recommendation. Amazing food, exceptional service, thoughtful hospitality, and an atmosphere that makes every celebration feel special. If you're ever in Atlanta, do yourself a favor and make a reservation at H&W. H&W, thank you for giving me a birthday dinner I'll never forget. I'll definitely be back!

Didn't take too long for the meal to come out. I cut the Po'Boy in half and the Oysters were large. The bread was nice and soft, not hard and crunchy like bread can be for a Po'Boy. Fries were nicely done, not too crisp but not soggy and greasy. Had seasoning sprinkled on them, but not overwhelming. Just right. All great servers! My better half stayed healthy with a huge salad. I indulged in meatloaf, baked potato and fresh broccoli. The atmosphere is lovely and I would gladly dine here anytime!

I'll preface this by saying we are regular diners and frequently order to-go from here too, so this isn't a problem with the food quality - which is always good. Arriving at 10:45AM, I'd expected to be on the early side of the brunch rush, and the restaurant remained pretty quiet for the first 30 minutes. It was very cold, and we asked for this to be addressed. We appeared to have a dedicated server who welcomed us warmly, fixed drink orders and offered recommendations. However, he had another (new?) server shadowing him after that, and a few things were missed by her (no straws, milk for coffee served in a bowl instead of a jug, water without lemon served with lemon pips in it, and a forgotten request for a taste of the sausage gravy). Then things took a bigger turn after we placed our entree orders. We asked for jelly or jam for biscuits and were told there wasn't any. We asked for honey and syrup for the French toast, and it took a long time to arrive (so those entrees were cold by the time the diners got to eat them). One order came with the wrong side, and one diner had to ask for fresh biscuits because those on the plates were already cold. No one ever came to bring one missing drink, or to take further/refill orders from any of the group. The chilly temperature of the dining room stayed frigid throughout. We did appreciate the professionalism of our primary server, and the sweet gestures to the Moms in the group (it was Mothers' Day). However, the communication between servers, and with management, and between front of house and kitchen, were all completely off that day. It was especially disappointing based on previous positive experiences. Despite flagging the issues to the manager on duty, we left feeling rushed, disappointed and with the impression that they didn't really care. There were huge groups of people waiting to be seated by the time we left, so hopefully the team was just warming up when we got there and I hope the experience improved for others throughout the service period. I'm not looking forward to going back, however - it felt like we were being used for staff training on one of the business Sunday brunch services of the year, and not at all like the usual dinner experience.

Restaurant is very spacious and decor is traditional but overall warm and welcoming. Rashad waited on us and he was wonderful. Warm and engaged he was always available and efficient. We started with drinks and a shared the crab and spinach dip and someone tried the gumbo. Yumm!! For entrees we had several different items from a fried platter, naked salmon, baked trout and blackened catfish. Portions were generous, food well seasoned and everything delicious!! We opted out of dessert because we brought our own celebration cake, but the ones I saw at other tables looked pretty good. Overall a great dining experience!!

When we were finally seated, they split us between two separate tables and told us it was policy that they couldn't push the tables together. We were definitely a little disappointed, but we didn't let it ruin the night. I will say our servers were very nice and friendly throughout the experience. The biggest issue was the wait for the food. Half of our group got their meals, and then it took forever for the other table to finally get theirs, which made things awkward. As for the food, it was pretty mediocre overall. I had the fried shrimp and chicken, which was decent, but honestly I enjoyed the chicken more than the shrimp. One of my friends ordered the Cajun pasta and it lacked A LOT of flavor, definitely needed some salt and seasoning. The place was pretty and clean. I did like their outdoor courtyard to just wait and hang out. It wasn't a terrible experience by any means, but it also wasn't impressive enough for me to really want to come back.
