This newer place was so fun! Everything we ordered was good and the service was great!!

We have always loved brew food. We wanted to try this place out since it's new to the area. Loved the decor and atmosphere. Super fun to go to. The staff was very kind and quick to take care of us. The food was very well displayed. The flavor was a little lacking for us. We're prefer a lot more spice and interesting flavors, but we still enjoyed it all enough to return and try some of the other dishes. We did love the artichoke dip. read more

There is a good selection of beers & cocktails. We all 4 of us loved the setting & the menu! We were there on a Monday afternoon. May have been the chef's day off. The food was tired & cold. We had 2 wine drinkers at the table & the choice is not only limited, it's sub-par. So, will I return? Hell, yes. It's a cool environment, even for an old lady like me. Was super excited to try this place for some time. I got Deans Sticky Ribs, they definitely did NOT disappoint. The portion size was more than expected, and every bite was packed with that smoky-sweet flavor you hope for when you walk into a true Southern BBQ. The meat practically fell off the bone and the glaze, don't get me started. I asked for an extra side just to dip in. The only issue I had was the service. Our waitress didn't check back on us much, and we had to ask another server to grab a few things we needed. Still, when it comes to the food itself, Strap Tank absolutely nails it. I'd go back in a heartbeat just for those Sticky Ribs hopefully next time with a little more attention from the staff. read more

This is reviewing this restaurant for this area at this time; not against LA or SF standards. Ambiance: relaxed. We will definitely not be returning here! We have been here a couple times before and ordered appetizers. 1st time not impressed but they had just opened so we gave them another chance and 2nd time it was underwhelming and half of their beers weren't available. We were invited by friends because there was going to be a band and they were doing a canned food drive so we decided to go again.. 3rd times a charm right? Not at all! Our server knew nothing! We asked about the beers and he pointed to a thing on the table and said "scan that and it'll be the list of what we have". My mom asked about a fruity beer and he said "it'll be on that page". I walked up by the bar to see the descriptions of the beers and picked one for her. He didn't even know the sides, told us to read the menu and pick one. DO NOT GET THE RIBS OR MAC N CHEESE. Boring and dry! We had to ask for more water and for him to clear the table multiple times. When it came time to pay, it had the gratuity on there because the 8 of us were considered a "large group" . Most places usually do that with a party of 10+. I understand it's a policy for some restaurants but that should make the server work for that tip! Not be lazy knowing you'll be tipped regardless. 2 stars only because some of the people in our party enjoyed their meal- French dip, fish tacos and the chicken Caesar salad was a generous portion. read more

We were hesitant to try because of the reviews but were pleasantly surprised. The service was friendly and the food was good. We had the sliders, fish tacos and Ahi and I enjoyed everything I tried. I didn't love the beer but I'm kind of picky that way. Great place for lunch. read more

The food was good the service was great by Sam and atmosphere was amazing. Enjoyed the wedge salad with chicken and our other meal was fish tacos. The beer was good didn't some of the ones we wanted. I liked the Strap Tank Brewery - the owner collects American memorabilia and it's a fun, noisy, happy place to be. Strap Tank serves typical bar food-but done well. Be prepared to wait a bit because they get super busy, especially around dinner time. If you want an intimate dinner, this usb't the place because of the noise level, but if you want a brewery experience (and I don't drink, so can only comment on how busy it was that the craft beers are excellent), then Strap Tank is your place! read more

Waited an entire hour for our meal the 26th of Dec. The coconut shrimp appetizer has been left overlong in the fryer. The salad dressing for the Ahi Ahi Asian salad was soy sauce with a bit of ginger powder. Impossibly salty and no dressing zing or flavor except... Salt. One hour after being seated without our food being brought I went looking for the manager who told me with forced fake smiles "We're platng your meals as we speak". Wherk asked what the problem was or if this is standard he simply smiled bigger and repeated it. He offered no reason no apology no free dessert or anything to assuage our growing frustration. Pricey food with mediocre quality. Pretty disappointing. The women's restroom also had no soap. read more

We went for Father's Day and ordered an appetizer, two flatbreads, and the Father's Day special (steak). Unfortunately, the experience was pretty disappointing. The flatbreads came out first, but our appetizer was forgotten. After we reminded them, it arrived several minutes later--along with a duplicate from a different server, making it seem there was poor communication between the staff. To make matters worse, the Father's Day special never arrived. Our waitress didn't return to check on us or refill drinks, and I had to go up to the bar myself to ask about my dad's meal. Turns out, it had been taken to another table. By that point, he no longer wanted it and we were ready to leave. Despite the service issues, we still left a tip. The flatbreads were decent, but overall, the experience didn't meet expectations--especially on a day meant to celebrate. The one in Lehi is much better. read more

We visited recently and know the restaurant is still very new, so we expected some learning curves. We only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated, which was great, but once we were seated, another couple who arrived after us was waited on first. When our food came, my friend and I had both ordered the same salad, but mine didn't have croutons while hers did. We also asked for extra water, but never received it. When we mentioned it, the server apologized, but still didn't bring the water, even though we stayed and continued to talk for a while. Additionally, my friend's chicken wings were undercooked near the bone, which was concerning. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice, but there are definitely some service and kitchen consistency issues that need attention. Hope you work out the kinks as you grow! read more

From the moment we walked in the service was excellent! The staff said it was only day three. The wait for a table was 25 min but zero for the bar area! All decor is right up our rustic/ metal alley. Great tunes when you could hear them. They do have an upstairs with Another bar & single restroom. No seat covers but clean & stocked. I ordered The Bartlett from Jenesa - DELICIOUS! Very refreshing & sweet. Chili Verde Meatballs - for our starter. Very verde, meatballs good, crispy tostadas were ok. Brew Pup Burger- good but onions unfortunately were not crispy. Loaded Wisconsin Brat - not sure what kind of casing is used for the bratwurst but it was too chewy, almost inedible. The soft pretzel bun with queso sauce was yummy! For my liking I would need to request extra crispy onions & extra pickles. Ambiance & service a definite 5 star. Unfortunately value & taste, food would be a 3 star. First of all the service was pretty good and the wait time was to be expected. The food, however, was AWFUL. Nothing had any flavor and it was very expensive. We spent $94 on LUNCH at this place for 2 people and literally left both lunches on the table. I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and it tasted like the bread, no other flavor and the nachos were really thick soft chips, no crunch and they were cold! I'm very sad that I'm out $94 and I had to go home and eat lunch. We won't be back. There are better options. Silver Reef Brewery hit EVERY TIME, its amazing! read more

First order of broccoli was cold. Asked for a hot serving. Warm would be acceptable but the second order was cold also. The waiter seemed to perturbed that my wife wanted her food warm let alone hot. I've clean glass full of ice. He some recommendations and I fried pickles to start which are incredible! I also ordered small flight to taste the homemade brews and three slides to go with em ! 1st beer ST GOERGE LIGHT. Great smooth and super light ! Good start! 2nd pineapple something, absolutely refreshing and outstanding! And then the stout! Great chocolate flavor and super smooth! Sliders were delicious! Came to this restaurant for dinner last night. We're staying at the Hyatt which is right across the parking lot, so this was a super convenient location to eat. While the interior is pretty neat, the service was fine, and the food arrived quickly, it was not good. We ordered drinks and wings as an appetizer to start. Then a few minutes later we ordered our meals. Everything came out all at once, which was not a good sign. The wings were very dry, and not necessarily warm. Like they'd been sitting for awhile under a warmer. The rest of the meal was bland and cold. The ranch dressing was like milk and had no flavor. We were not impressed and our meal cost $75. I think for convenience and better food we should have stayed at the hotel and eaten their food. read more

Attempted to take a friend today to give it a second try. No one was available to seat us (same as 6 months ago). Staff would walk by numerous times and say I'll be right with you. Folks in front of us left without being seated. A gentle man got up from his table, walked over and suggested we seat ourselves as he had to do. Really nothing special about this place except the decor. For a brand new building it has rustic charm. We were quick to be seated and the waitress came right over for our order. We had a couple Heffenwiesers and placed our food order. The beers came right away. The food took forever. I actually prefer the Hef at Silver Reef Brewery a lot better. As for the food, it was average. I would have given them 3 stars but after 2 cheeseburgers and 2 small beers our bill was $52. I wish I went to Silver Reef Brewing Company. Maybe other people dig the beer but my husband and I didn't like a single one we tasted. We tried a sour, brown, stout on nitro and a 4th I can't recall right now. Each one missed the mark. So bad we didn't even finish the tasters. Ordered the spinach dip and it was lacking. Maybe I'm picky but I prefer a thicker more cheesy dip rather than a watered down or more milky bland dip. The service and ambience however were awesome. Would I come back? Probably not unless they had better flavored beer or better food. read more

I've tried this place 3 different times. The first time was awful, the food was so bad it all tasted old & microwaved. I tried again and it was pretty decent so I thought maybe they worked the kinks out of opening a new restaurant. Went in tonight and was served raw salmon (I'm 7 months pregnant so I sent it back) they came back and it was still raw. I think they just threw it back in the microwave, so I decided to pass on the salmon & just eat my potatoes.. well the first bite I took I pulled a long hair out of my mouth. it grossed me out so bad I didn't eat anything else. Sad cus this place is really cool aesthetically and the staff are kind but I don't see it lasting long with how awful the food is. I really wanted to like this place, but I can't.
