I always go to the Goodwill next door and my boyfriend and I decided to try this place after shopping. We got inside and it was pretty big. Plenty of booths and tables & they even have a small arcade. We weren't welcomed in. The cashier didn't even say hello. The woman who brought our pizza wasn't too friendly either. We got a Medium Pepperoni, regular crust. It was pretty good. But as for service, they need to step up their game. I might give this place another shot next time. read more

Straw Hat Pizza has been around for as long as I can remember. Tuesdays are the best there, its HALF off all pizzas except for the personal size. ALso everyday they have all you can eat pizza for lunch and it includes a salad and drink for really cheap to. The Pizza is the greatest and the service there is awesome as well. Enjoy!!! I just left this pizza place so upset I paid $12 for pastrami sandwich and a salad bar that I ordered to go as I'm waiting for my sandwich to be ready I had a little bit of the the salad that I put in the container to go which it's all you can eat salad bar as my sandwich was ready I was ready to go and I just put a little more carrots in the container that I got .this waitress by the name of Anna approach me and screaming at me and being so rude to me in front of the customers and telling me "you cannot eat the salad here it must be to go dont ever do this again" .with such a rude attitude, I walked out from the restaurant and I will never ever go back I work down the street in the car dealership and we always order pizza for delivery and ordering food from this place but after what I had today I will never go back to this place . This is a great pizza parlor. It has a great Monday night football special from 4-9pm. Beer is cheap and so are mini pizzas. Tuesday pizza is 1/2 price which is an even better deal. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked. The game room is cool for the kids, but bring lots of quarters. The service is good. There are plenty of nice hd tv's to watch all the big games. They also have a nice lunch buffet. The only drawback to the place is it's a bit pricey when they don't have one of their specials going on. This location is much larger than the spring street location and features a better enviornment to hang out. While Straw Hat is seen as a place for kids' sports teams to go or for birthday parties, this location has a bar which allows the big kids to have a good time too! read more

Pretty good happy hour on NFL Monday night and Thursday night. Great place to watch primetime games. I was enjoying my pizza with my friend until for some reason, I'm not even sure why, as I was eating my crust I decided to look inside of it and discovered a long curly hair. A little while later we went to the counter and asked about our food. I was greeted by the smiling man in charge. He apologized instantly and offered to give us our pizza $ back and put a fresh pizza in the oven. Less than 5 mins later. A smiling girl was at our table with a bit pizza and another apology. Worst pizza EVER! $5 Pronto Pizza is better! I placed an online order and headed over to get it. Green beans were in the oven but pizza was still being prepared. 20 minutes later they give me my order. I get it home and the entire crust is over cooked. With braces, I could hardly bite into it. I have been a Straw Hat patron since this location opened about 40 years ago. I used to enjoy the old time movies and pinball machines. Now it's just another noisy dirty pizza place. I used to defend this location because it had a decent salad bar and the pizza tasted OK. On my last visit for dinner, the salad bar was a disaster and they've changed the pizza crust so now it tastes less than mediocre. After a Saturday of birthday parties there were no clean tables to sit at, and the floors were filthy. Had to ask someone to clean a table (although there were a dozen unoccupied.) Even with the recent update to the paint and upholstery, this place feels like it's going downhill. After nearly 40 years if patronage, I think my last visit was just that, my last. read more
