Great food! Fast, efficient service! Very relaxed atmosphere! Will definitely be back

Tacos are traditional and perfect, as is most of the other food. But the black beans are not as good as they could be. Otherwise, I'm a fan of Street - Taco & Beer. The name says it all!

Fun spot with a great salsa bar, vegetarian options, and yummy drinks! This is like elevated chipotle in that it's build your own style. Service was good, no complaints! I got nachos with calabacitas, my son got a cheese quesadilla, and my husband got carne asada tacos and a side of rice. I also got a mango drink! Our total was $51 which I thought was pretty good! Food was pretty yummy! Salsas were fresh and spicy. And my drink was strong without being grossly strong. And was not super busy on a Saturday evening! Great fast casual option!

I'm so glad I stopped in to try this spot! This place is what Chipotle wishes it was. The food was flavorful and the salsa bar is amazing! Clean dining room and great service, if I lived in Tucson this place would be one of my favorites!!

Really delicious carnitas tacos. They were out of nachos which I don't understand how, because of the gigantic container of free tortilla chips for salsa. Still enjoyable though.

This hit the spot. After a long day of travel from Michigan, we unpacked and wanted a quick late lunch. I got two tacos, Al pastor and asada, and while small, they were tasty and flavorful. Plus you get chips and salsa bar included. We tried all the salsas which was fun. We liked them all but one was a tad too spicy for me. My husband got the shredded beef bowl and enjoyed it a lot. Glad we found this place super close to where we are staying.

Bustling corner cafeteria slinging street $3 Tacos, $11 Tortas, $4.50 SonoDawgs, $11.50 Burritos or as Bowls from inviting spot on edge of town on Congress & Church/tram stop. Open window bar seats, tables, booth seating, and handful tables out front on the sidewalk patio for a lovely alfresco bite. For town, prices not bad $6 for Barrio craft brewkies, $3 Fountain and couple TV screens showing BXB, cheer on the Cats for a double, dining and courtside, win. $3 Any taco meat. We tried Pollo, al pastor and carne asada. Servings are on the small side about 1.25 tbsp measured in a spoon and single flour 5" or double for small 4" street corn, topped either Gringo tom lettuce cheese or Street with cilantro onion. They are tasty bites though and the + fresh salsa bar is killer. Side of refrieds $1.50 comes in a large solo cup so enough to slap on those chips or go all out on $12 for Street Nachos or Fries. Free thick slightly warm white chips are fantastic, topped with salsa bar offerings and you are cookin' ll Stocked with 2 green, pico, molcajete, Avo, roasted jalapenos, limes and radishes. Yelpers check in for a free Churro, save $2! Will be sure to return for more Street fun and food here!

The drink that Oscar couldn't comp and all the tacos we received, short one fish taco.

I am officially done with Street Taco. The food is okay enough but I'm done with either Park Place Mall or the downtown location because of how I was treated. I had a negative experience downtown and was done, but we had a coupon, so we decided to try out Park Place. After we ordered, the manager said he didn't know how to ring up the coupon and asked if it was okay if we just waited until next time to use it. Well, not really. Literally the reason we came to the restaurant was because of the $5 off coupon. I had ordered a drink, so I suggested that he should comp my 4.99 drink but he said he couldn't. First strike of not providing great service. I was a bit frustrated at this point but the manager promised he would treat us well next time. We waited until our food was ready, grabbed it and sat down but we were short one fish taco. I went back up to the counter and said playfully, "Hey, you shorted us one fish taco." That was where the real trouble began. The person we ordered from just started making another fish taco but the manager (Oscar) started questioning the guy who took our order whether he'd made two. He said that he thought he had but was willing to admit that maybe he'd made a mistake. We're all human; no big deal. The manager didn't let it go there. He kept asking the other worker (seems like it was either Daniel or Jesus) whether he was sure. It started to get ridiculous. The new taco was made but Oscar kept holding onto it and wouldn't let it go as he repeatedly asked the other guy if he was sure he made two. At that point, I started to get offended. I walked back to our table, took a picture of how many unwrapped tacos we had on the table and went back to show him. He actually said "A picture doesn't tell me anything," implying it was still possible that we had all the tacos at the table but I had just taken a picture of some. In the end, the worker then Oscar walked all the way to where our table was to verify that we were really missing a taco. All this over a taco worth about $5! Manager Oscar made the excuse that at the downtown location, someone had lied and said that they didn't get a taco that they'd really never ordered and the manager there was fired for accidentally giving a taco someone hadn't paid for. Whatever happened to good service or "the customer is always right"? This was either absolutely horrible management by Oscar, specifically, or a horrible culture by the company in general that the company had a manager so scared for his job that it made him act in a way that gave a customer bad service. Either way, I'm done with Street Taco at either location. The food was fine but nothing great. I'm a Me I am food snob and like really authentic taste. But when a manager makes me feel as if I'm being accused of stealing over one taco, I'm definitely done.

    Five different tacos.

The service was good and the food was prepared quickly. I had five tacos each with a different type of meat. I opted for the flour tortillas which were very soft. I also ordered a burrito to eat later in the day for dinner. The burrito was a good size and the Al pastor had plenty of flavor. I paid extra to have sour cream and guacamole. The salsa bar offered a good selection of condiments. I was worried about parking but was able to find a space right in front. The restaurant was clean and modern looking. I would recommend giving this place a try.

My Wife and I had been to the street taco downtown, we just noticed this one and they told us they opened in May. We decided to go in for dinner and it was fantastic. I had the chicken burrito. She had the fish taco and the Carne Asada taco. Everything was so tasty and the service was out of this world. ironically I think they're actually cheaper than Taco Bell. We will absolutely go back.

    Al pastor burrito

We loved this place! My husband and I had just come down from Mt. Lemmon and were super hungry. With a quick Yelp search, I found Street. The inside is kind of like chipotle - you order an item, and they assemble it in front of you, with you choosing your items. My husband had the Al pastor burrito, which he really enjoyed. I opted for the shredded beef burrito bowl - I had Mexican rice, black beans, onion, and cilantro on it. It was amazing!! I demolished the entire thing! I was going to get carnitas, but once we got to the front of the line, it looked more fatty than I prefer, so I went with the beef. The flavor was insane! We also got a free churro for checking in on Yelp. It wasn't fully cooked/raw in the middle, so we only ate the ends, but it was tasty. They also have a really awesome salsa bar and a huge area where you get UNLIMITED chips! They give you a lil bag at the register for chips. My favorite salsa was the hot salsa verde. We had no issue finding indoor seating on a Saturday around dinner time. The patio looked nice as well, but it was hot af. The staff were all nice and friendly as well. We wouldn't hesitate to come back! Maybe you guys should open a location in the PHX metro ;)

Asada burrito bowl with watermelon agua fresca
    Christina Z.

Solid option for Mexican food on the east side of town (especially if you're going to and from Mt Lemmon) - it's a bit like a Chipotle in that you order up at the counter and go along a line to choose your meat and toppings, but definitely with a local Tucson flair with options such as Sonoran dogs and tortas. You can choose between Street Style (onion and cilantro) versus Gringo Style (lettuce, tomato, and cheese). We've tried their street tacos, burrito bowls, and Sonoran dog - our favorites are the street tacos (street style) and burrito bowl. The Sonoran dog is average, but still pretty good. Of the street tacos/bowls meat options, we prefer the asada (steak) and al pastor - very flavorful and recommend getting them Street style so you can really taste the flavors of the meat. Each meal comes with paper bags to fill with chips at the chip and salsa bar which is also great! My favorite salsa is the mild cilantro lime style one - so good and addictive with the unlimited chips. I also recommend having one of their agua frescas - the watermelon one was refreshing on a hot summer!

Locally from Phx Az these were the Best tacos I've had in Arizona all together hands down ! As a native Mexican this says a lot but the meat, flour tortillas and salsas they have were packed with flavor and authenticity. 10/10 recommend !

Our server/bartender took great care of us, he offered us drinks, took our food order and made my hubby a really good Margarita, The Frida Margarita, he said it was bomb! I ordered a beer and it came with a chilled glass and lime wedge. We decided on the flautas and the mole enchiladas. Both fantastic, tasty and hearty! I got full with two enchiladas so I donated the third to my hubby, which he was super happy to eat. I have to say, the mole sauce was decadent and full of flavors. It really reminded me of my grandmas mole. It also left a delicious numbing (very slight) on my lips. Perfect balance of nutty, spicy, almost semi sweet goodness. Gorgeously prepared and looked almost too good to eat. Almost..... The place was full, we were still able to have a conversation. It was amazing. Will definitely be back to continue to enjoy the carefully curated menu. Everyone seemed happy and relaxed! This screams a great place to work and obviously enjoy. Well done La Frida! Well done!

Located in downtown Tucson, this iconic restaurant is full of character and beautifully decorated. We visited on a Saturday around 1 PM without a reservation and were told there would be a wait since the place was packed. They only have air conditioning in the indoor dining areas and basement, not on the outdoor patio. Luckily, we were seated in the basement, which turned out to be perfect. The service was commendable truly some of the sweetest and most attentive service we've experienced in a long time. We started with freshly made chips and salsa, which were an instant hit. For drinks, we ordered the El Tamarindo, Mangopeno, and Monica's Cafetini. For food, we chose the Vegan Jackfruit Taquitos Trio and the Fresh Corn Tamale Platter, which came with a side of squash. The drinks were excellent, with the Mangopeno being my favorite. But the real star of the meal was the tamale platter. Oh my goodness it was absolutely delicious! Everyone at the table kept digging in and couldn't get enough. Even the squash side was so flavorful that we ordered an extra serving. The vegan jackfruit taquitos were a bit too deep-fried for our liking and didn't quite compare to the incredible tamales. To finish, we shared a caramel flan, which was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The pricing was very reasonable, the service was exceptional, and the food was memorable. We will definitely be back again if only for those amazing tamales!

Honestly, I wish I could give Yaquesita a little more, maybe half a star more, because this place definitely has potential. Their flavors are good, but compared to similar restaurants the menu feels a bit overpriced. For a party of three we ended up paying around $100, which felt like a bit much for what we got. The restaurant itself is pretty small with only about 3-4 tables inside, but the patio is a decent size and has a cute vibe. It's actually a nice option on cooler days if you don't mind sitting outside. Some items were better than others. The wet-style burrito was delicious and definitely a highlight. The quesabirrias were good, however the birria felt more like fancier shredded beef. It was missing that rich, spicy, slightly acidic, earthy flavor that usually sets birria apart from barbacoa or traditional shredded beef dishes. The bowl was just okay and had lots of lettuce. It felt more like a salad with a bit of meat, rice, and beans. Honestly, Chipotle does bowls better, and that says a lot considering the price. The nachos were good, but I've had better. Seis Kitchen has amazing nachos to share. That said, it's definitely a place I'd come back to mainly out of convenience, not because one particular item on the menu won my heart. I really do hope they continue refining the menu because the flavors are there and this place could easily become a standout spot. Personally I just think at the total price of my ticket other restaurants should not even have room in my mind during my meal. If you're in the area and looking for a safe bet where everyone will probably find something they like, it's worth giving them a try.
