This is my second time here within 3 days and yes, i am hooked. I am a pizza aficionado. I would marry pizza if i could. If I were to marry pizza, we would have pepperoni and fresh cheese babies. I love pizza. Strobelli's is my pizza wife. I have to take care of her by now coming in regularly and enjoying visits each time. Today I brought my real wife. The people who work here made us feel at home right away. We promptly placed our order to go. My wife at the bar and started up a conversation with one of the ladies who work there but was off today. They have beer on tap so my wife got a blue moon. They have Sierra Nevada, Coors Light and Drake's IPA on tap. They also offer beer and wine as well. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They have NFL Sunday ticket which is just icing on the cake for me. As far as the pizza, they offer thin, California style or Chicago thick crust. All their dough is made fresh daily and they use REAL FRESH CHEESE too! As far as taste, well that is subjective. I have had pizza from coast to coast, including NYC. I must say that this is some of the best pizza I have had in the ENTIRE Sacramento area. Bookmark this place and give it a try. This is a little jewel of a place. Simply the best pizza place hands down. As a former round table/extreme pizza/pizza hut lover, I am completely convert to this place and this place only. If your looking for great taste (hopefully you always do) then I urge you to try any of there pizzas or even there sandwiches. My personal favorites is the flaming sky, Hawaiian with bacon and jalapeños, and all time favorite is the garlic chicken with artichoke hearts. I don't give out 5 stars unless they have *good service, great food, and quality. *side note: Had a problem previously with an order placed here. An item wasn't delivered, we called and they (female manager) said we would receive store credit on our next order. Forgetting all about the mishap called to place an order for another pizza roughly a month or so later and asked to receive our store credit... To there surprise no store credit was ever attached to my account (go figure). Spoke to a new manager by the name of Jay who was more than amazing. He also stated that the previous manager that my wife spoke to for the store credit no longer worked for this company. Jay took care of the situation and then some. We and our friends had not eaten pizza in a long time. Too long! So we ordered 3 pizzas from Strobelli's and they are still as outstanding as ever! Love their standard crust - chewy and thick but not deep dish. Vegetable pizza - we prefer that the vegetables are fully cooked, and Strobelli's runs the pizza through the oven for extra time to accommodate us. Otherwise, the vegetables are all more on the raw side. Calzone - more of a flat shape than the thicker ones back east. Dough is still delicious and the fillings all yummy. It is located in the middle of a residential area at the Folsom-Orangevale border. The owner was very friendly and in general the service was great. All their patrons seemed to be regulars. Menu is very reasonably priced. They also seemed to have some discounted beer/wine specials everyday, though we didn't try that. Also kids friendly. We had a Medium Pizza with half Buffalo Chicken and half Vegetarian. It was tasty, even the dough had some herbs in it which added to the flavor. read more

I prefer to give my business to local stores instead of the chains and was really excited to find a pizza place nearby. Unfortunately the whole experience was disappointing. When we walked in the lady at the register looked bored and disinterested. We ordered two pizzas and a Greek salad. The BBQ chicken pizza had pineapple and the chicken was bone dry. The veggie pizza was decent. The Greek salad was lettuce, a tiny bit of tomato and perhaps a teaspoon of Feta and Italian dressing. This abysmal meal cost $50. Like I said, I want to support small local businesses, but if they offer lousy customer service and mediocre food at Midtown prices, I'm not left with many options. read more

We've been living in Orangevale for 20 years and didn't realize that there was a Chicago style pizza near us, right around the corner. Today is the 1st time we ordered one and my goodness! What a great pizza, nice crispy crust. No oils seeping through. Fresh ingredients pair well with the pepperoni and Italian sausage.
