Food was descent. Very friendly service and food was ready to go when you order. Atmosphere is perfect. Wasn't too loud around 4pm. Perfect for a quick stop for BBQ.

I had the Supreme Spud with brisket. The meat was a tad bit dry but with all the bbq sauce, beans, slaw, and sour cream it was ok. Service was great. Ambiance was nice and quiet. For the price it was worth it.

This was beef rib with potato salad???

The beef rib was fill of fat and greasy. Just not Texas bbq. Potato salad bland. Got the peach cobbler and had no flavor.

    Trays of goodness!

Passing through Hot Springs Arkansas MUST include a stop to Stubby's BBQ. Lucky to catch it on a Friday...and even luckier that there were beef ribs still available. The server split the two bones apart and I got one that I swear almost touched Little Rock...MASSIVE! Oh, and so so delicious. Nice and tender, and just enough fat attached to permeate flavor to the meat. BBQ sauce excellent compliment and something to smear in the mandatory BBQ supplement, white bread. Enjoyed 1/2 chicken (juicy breast meat!), baked potato, slaw, pot o bean (bbq beans, with chopped ham topping) and the always ever present peach cobbler. Sweet tea to help it all sail down the throat. Just loved it! Gotta stop by...then go across the street to Oaklawn Casino and walk it off!

GREAT FOOD & GREAT SERVICE!!!!!! Stubby's is a must when in hot springs. We ordered the stuffed brisket potato and it did not disappoint. Lastly, the most friendly staff was working. Thank you for a great meal.

Was passing through Arkansas on a solo road trip and was reminded by hubby to bring home some BBQ. All the BBQ places in Little Rock were closed (it was Sunday), so waited till I got to Hot Springs. Stayed at the Hotel Hale (another 5-star experience) and the owner and mayor of Hotel Hale said "Go to Stubby's"! He was right! Finger-lickin' ribs and brisket (lean or fatty) were delicious. I must watch my salt intake so wasn't a fan of the cole slaw, and potato salad had too much mayo for my liking but it was still tasty. I'm from Texas, so don't like sauce on my BBQ, only on the side which they obliged. It's also sweeter than I like. Service was excellent and I will happily return the next time I'm in Hot Springs. I was grateful for Stubby's and so was my husband.

Supreme Spud- Large baked potato, pork or beef heaped on top, baked beans, slaw, delicious bbq sauce. Excellent filling meal. Before leaving we bought a case (12 bottles) of their BBQ sauce to take back home. Our friends bought 6 bottles.. Mmmmm. Mmmmm, good.

Awesome old school Bar-B-Q. The brisket was the leanest I've seen and smoked to perfection. The ribs were huge and meaty and tasted great. They only have a red sauce but it is perfect. The cole slaw was fresh but the beans were average. They only have one dessert, homemade peach cobbler, and it is fantastic. The prices are reasonable and they prepare the food as you order. The cashier was super helpful.

Holy smokes this is probably the most meat I've eaten in an entire week in one sitting! The stuffed baked table hit on all points. The baked potato is cooked to perfection along with the brisket. The brisket is amazing! I wish I had more capacity in my stomach to eat more meat because I would've got all of the meat they had available.

Out of town and first time here! The moment we came in the staff were so pleasant and explained how the process works. The food is amazing! Highly recommend!

The surprise win was the fried shrimp were actually really good just too salty. And this is coming from a Cajun. But good job I'd actually rate it pretty close to flavor we get back home! The siracha fries were savory and spicy and all the things nice :) glad I didn't skip that as it helped me power through the burger. The cinnamon bread was just not exciting and tough. But maybe it's better fresh.

Allie greeted me almost immediately and got me seated and set up with a sweet tea and a menu. She returned just a few minutes later and answered all the questions that I had about the menu - which were many - because there's quite a selection to be had here. I finally settled on the Gouda burger with crispy bacon on a lightly toasted, brioche bun and all the fixings. I upgraded my Fries to beer batter onion rings, and boy was that NOT a mistake. Onion rings were crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside, with a little bit of that tangy beer batter flavor. The burger was piled high with tart, crunchy pickles, crisp lettuce, and a big tomato wedge that was perfectly ripe. Rounding up the presentation was some of the crispies, most perfectly cooked bacon. I've seen in a while and a nice wedge of Gouda cheese, melting, and oozing over it all. On the first bite, you could tell this was definitely chargrilled and done right. The beef was cooked through, but not dried out and the whole thing was a big juicy delicious pile of goodness. My waitress, Allie, was Jonny on the spot with everything. Sort of like the butler from Mr. Deeds; anytime you would start to think about needing something, she would magically appear and practically read your mind, bringing you exactly what you wanted. I was shocked to discover she's fairly new here because she's really good at her job and seems to fit right in. Overall, I'd give the burger and 9.5 out of a 10. It might be able to use just a tad bit of more seasoning. I'd give Allie an 11 out of 10 because she really went above and beyond not just for me, but her service was so good, I actually watched her with the other patrons and she was all over it like a bad topure on Howard Cosell, only in a good

It's the kind of place you could and would want to be a regular at if you lived nearby. I want to be a regular, and I live 500 miles away. But you can bet when I'm heading that way, I'm stopping in again. I had skipped lunch and was really hungry, but didn't want to get something real heavy either, and I though I had "sort of" done that. I was totaly wrong. Blue Crab Ravioli in an artichoke/spinache alfredo sauce, topped with toasted/roasted mozzarella... I know what you're thinking, cream sauce and cheese? How is that light you knucklehead? Well, I was thinking that ravioli, usually served with 4-6 pieces would be just drizzled in this topping. NOPE. Scalding hot cast iron skillet loaded with ravioli, in that heavy, cheese/cream sauce. But here's how good it was. I took half to go, and had 1/4 of that when I got home 2 days later (always carry a cooler bag kids...) Then I had the remainder for lunch one day. Best ravioli I've ever had, and I want to be Italian and have had a lot of pasta in my life. I sat at the bar, and when people sat down around me, we all started talking. It's that kind of place. It's also dark, dank, gritty, and it's character shows in every space. Did I mention the great tunes? Yep... music right up my alley. Food, drinks, music, vibes... Yeah, 10 - 10 would go back again. And again.

Wow! Okay as a person visiting the town for 2 days... SKIP THIS PLACE!…read moreI'll be the first to admit the food is DELICIOUS. The service? Horrendous. 1.) Had to continuously interrupt the bartender talking with their friend at the bar. 2.) a DOG was behind the bar. Never seen that before. A public place. No pets allowed. And yet, for the 2nd day in a row a dog is running free. Cute and fluffy! But not the place. 3.) made a very specific request, and would've been fine if the answer was no but the bartender said very enthusiastically "SURE!" And then once the bill arrived I was charged double. I explained the situation "oh, my bad, I misheard you and charged you for 2." That was it. So, it's your mistake for not paying attention because your friend is sitting at the bar but now it's my problem? I think not. To make matters worse? I went to pay using the QR code printed on the receipt and she immediately states "sorry, that doesn't work!" I tried it anyways. It worked! Do not recommend. Lots of cool spots, you can skip this one.
