BECAREFUL of the bait and switch coupons!! Place will not honor coupon, claiming that value meals are already discounted when the coupon app clearly states when you buy "value meal" get free 6" inch. Wtf?! Check out my pics. I got the 6" hot Italian value meal $4.99 which comes with drink and chips. For my free, I got the $2.99 6"inch oven roasted chicken. Neither was deluxe or had extra add ons. Now, I'm no math wiz, but my total with the coupon should be $5 something. She ended up ringing up $8.08?!! She rang up the meal separately (below is an est.) $4.99 sandwich $1.39 drink $1.09 chips Free 6" inch sub. Does this make sense?!!! Am I missing something?!! I brought it to her attention and she just blamed it on the computer. So this is customer service even when it's clearly wrong? In the end I paid for the sandwich only $4.99 and got the free 6"inch. They will refuse to remake sandwiches which are wrong, and they WILL be wrong when you order online or in app. If not wrong then they will be out of something. 3 out of 5 of my sandwiches were incorrect and missing condiments. When I went back the nameless employee with no name badge argued with me that the sandwiches were right. See the pics below and judge for yourself. Came in on 8/19/2018 around 4pm. The girl with glasses and headband greeted us. Couldn't really hear her but I'm assuming she did, she helped us with some kind of attitude. Wasn't friendly nor smiling. Our sandwiches were good but drenched in loads of dressings. read more

Went to Subway around 6:00. Only one girl behind the counter, with a long line. This girl (her name is Sky) did awesome job! She got everyone's order right, helped multiple people away a time, and had a great attitude. She worked hard, and she worked fast. I will definitely look for her again. Just moved to the area and already have been frequenting this Subway. I've been satisfied and happy at this location. Clean and organized and great employees. Tonight, I experienced a terrible scene play out in front of me. The shift manager "Skye"was making 2 foot Longs for a woman in front of me. This woman was so shrewd, disrespectful, inconsiderate and outright ignorant to say the least. She was barking orders to "Skye" in a confusing and aggressive way. This was a good 12 minute scene playing out in front of me as I patiently waited, she even said to me "I'll be right with you." The woman was complaining about some coupon and her phone having low battery, apparently her phone had the coupon code. "Skye" even goes in the back to grab her own cell phone to help search for "said" coupon for her. Apparently the customer was wrong and this coupon didn't fall under her current orders, she huffs and says ok maybe I'll take just 1 sandwich instead; in the few seconds that followed, as I was already quite irate with her, then she says; "never mind, I don't want either sandwich." She abruptly walks out without saying a word, we all stood there in shock and disbelief. Skye literally broke down and teared up, she was so hurt and upset, also because she had to throw both sandwiches in the trash, possibly due to some corporate rule. I even thought about taking the sandwiches for myself, what a waste of food. Skye acted so professionally and with total aplomb. This Subway should be honored to have such a dedicated and hard working employee. I was very upset seeing her be treated that way, I admire her for how she handled the situation, call in the morning and let her boss know about this. I normally go to this subway because of the convenient location and have run into minor issues with customer service, through several occasions, ranging from no employee in sight to employees with attitude. However, today I arrived at 9:15 pm at this location to find that they had already begun closing although the time posted stated 10pm. I was unable to have my bread toasted because they had already turned the oven off...incredibly crummy experience. read more

Went into this subway at 7:45 pm the employee was in the back for 10 minutes while I knocked on their employee door. I could have robbed the store blind twice! When the employee finally comes out , I aside did you know I was out here 10 minutes?(not exaggerated ) she said "whatever" Then I said I wanted toasted bread she said we charge 50 cents to toast it. Ok, so it was approximately 4pm when we got here. Seemed quite busy, one young Latina girl, long straight hair by herself behind counter. After finishing an order she had another boy waiting, he gave her a half eaten sandwich, along with very specific directions. She made the sandwich over again very graciously with a sincere smile as the mother of the child came and tried excusing her very "particular" son. Meanwhile we waited and soon the girl was done and apologized repeatedly for the wait. Since we have been visiting this location I rarely get the honey green tea at this time (my favorite) It's usually empty, or removed. Been to this place a few times with my family. It's sorta walking distance from my house.. and my parents like this place because it's healthier than most. I give it 4 stars even though I'm not a fan of eating sandwiches all the time, but it's still a good restaurant and if you want a sandwich made right and everything, then this is a good place to go. I've only eaten IN the restaurant once with a friend. 99% of the time, I order something, and then take it home to eat. The place itself is small inside.. what Subway isn't? But yeah... the food is pretty good, and I like the fact that you can see them make your sandwich while talking to them and they are pretty fast. read more

I just visited at 3pm on a Tuesday and I felt really bad for the workers because there was some really dumb customers. For instance the lady ahead of us orders extra Mayo and the worker puts it on there and she complains it's too much. I saw how much and it was exactly what she asked for. Since I had sometime today to yelp, i lack sometimes. I went to grab a sandwich and get on my computer. let me say this place isn't awful but it's far from consist ant. Today my bread tasted a little stale or something. I will say that I'm a huge fan of subway especially in the heat but this place needs to speed it up. This is the closest Subway to my work so if im trying to save some money or a lot of money, by not eating on the Village, this is not a bad place. I usually come after the lunch crowd, so I've always had good experiences here. Like most Subways they put just enough veggies, but don't be afraid to ask them to put more. They now have 3 different brewed teas... Green w/honey, strawberry kiwi and regular unsweetened. I usually mix two of them so I'm not getting too much sugar. They also serve Coke products. Today as I write this, it is pretty dirty from the lunch crowd and it's still uncleaned after 30 min, so gonna have to give them just an average rating. When I was telling the sandwich maker what i wanted she completely ignored me and put something I didn't want by "accident " so I said no problem and then I took the sandwiches and went home I opened up the sandwich and we were all shocked to see that there was barely any tuna in it it was all veggies and no tuna so we took it back there and we had to drive 25 min just to give them a complaint we also had to wait another 30 mins for them to remake the 6 FOOTLONGS and we had to retell them everything that we ordered.I wouldn't recommend going here if you wanted a good meal:( read more

Well what can I say, I have been a subway customer for decades. So when I moved to Claremont it was nice to see there was a Subway near my house. That is until I gave them my business. The store is about a 7 on the 1 to 10 cleanliness scale. I placed a order a few months ago for 3 catering trays of sandwiches to be delivered to a event, making it clear they needed to be on time. They delivered 1 hour late. Willing to give them a second chance I went to the shop the other day and attempted to use a coupon that was texted to my cell phone by the corporate office of subway. The store has no wifi and I could only pull up the first page of the coupon on my phone. The coupon was for $2 off a meal deal. A young man who was maybe 20 choose to get rude and tell me he would not take the coupon, when I asked if the manager was there he informed me he was the store manager and proceeded to get argumentative about the coupon. I was so put off by his attitude that I went to another food shop in the shopping mall. It really put me off and I wont go back. Too many restaurants and competition in the community that treats customers like the gold they are to offend customers and be disrespectful over $2. read more

Wish I would of read some reviews before going here! This is the worst subway I been too. Only good thing is they have a lot of parking prob because no one wants to come here. The girl with the tattoo on her arm was very rude . When I walked in she was too busy flirting with another customer took her 4 mins to even notice me. She gave the guy she was flirting with a free drink. When it was time to ring me up I had a coupon for a free sub and drink given to me by the manager/owner because of an issue I had. The location on Arrow Rte and Monte Vista is far superior. The employees at this one had zero personality and after spending $17 to feed three people including a 4 year old they wouldn't let the child use their bathroom.
