Subway is currently offering a 2+ footlong for $5/each in the evening (I believe it's after 9pm). Also, the featured footlong for the month of October is the meatball marinara. I've been a biased loyal customer since they came out with their $5 footlong deals many years ago, and still relish the monthly $5 special deals. I'm not passionate about soups or cookies, so I never order them. The stores pretty small so it's an in-and-out type ordeal or you might sit down for a super casual lunch. My typical order: Bread: 8-grain Honey oat/Flat bread/Italian herbs and cheese Meat: Oven roasted chicken/meatball marinara/spicy italian Cheese: Swiss/mozzarella if I get the meatball marinara Veggies: Everything but pickles Sauce: Light may/ Chipotle Sauce/Sriracha/Ranch Seasoning: Oregena Cup of water. Sandwiches are usually medium warm even if you toast it because the veggies it down. Can't beat build it as you like it and promotional deals. read more

I work in this area and eat Subway everyday for lunch. The main purpose of this review is to note that there are three Subway's within 2 miles of this Subway. I've been to each of them plenty over the last six months and this one is by far the best for service. A sub is a sub and the sandwich is going to be the same wherever you go. I have eaten at this location a few times and was never that fond of it, but I always tried to be pleasant with staff and tip. Recently, I had an issue when there was smoking directly in front of the entrance. I have reactions when exposed to smoke, including painful digestion, skin rashes and other health problems. I asked the staff for a refund as I couldn't finish my food and almost all of the food was returned uneaten. There were two women and one man working in the store. The man was presumably the manager as he was the one to respond to my request and call a supervisor. First, the manager argued about my choice of seating. There was not much choice in seating as the store is small and smoking that close to a building will get smoke inside. The manager then called a supervisor or store owner, who didn't want to give a refund pretending that it was best that I leave feedback or my contact information without explaining why. Finally, the manager said that he could give a partial refund, on the pretense that some of the food was eaten, or call the police. I did not, and still do not, agree to a partial refund as I didn't visit Subway to be in pain, so the manager carried through with his threat and called the police. I was then escorted out by police with the returned food kept inside the store and no refund. The manager was laughing. I believe the manager lied to the police as the police thought that I was given a refund. To date, I have no refund, plus the additional expense of purchasing food elsewhere. As predicted, I was not feeling well for some time. After looking around the doorway, I realized there were multiple cigarette butts. One customer overhearing the conversation felt that, despite local by-laws, I was wrong to ask for a smoke-free dining experience, suggesting smoking is common at this location. I cannot imagine supporting a business that wouldn't care if their customers were exposed to smoke. I was never a Subway fan to begin with and now I have no reason to visit any Subway again. read more

You might think it's odd to give a Subway 5-stars, but the employees work their *sses off. A Subway is a Subway. This particular location gets 4 stars for great service. They always have enough people working so there is no wait. They have never gotten my order wrong and I never have had to repeat my order to the counter person. This is by far the best subway I've been to. Service is always quick. Workers are friendly and they've all been there for as long as I've been going (over 2 years). The inside is usually clean, but seating is limited...although I think that's typical of Subway restaurants. Outdoor seating is nice and they've got great hours. Eh. It's like they were trying to be Chipotle and go super fast. Except imagine that the servers in Chipotle keep changing places. Yeah, my sandwich ended up at the register with the guy 2 spots ahead of me and I had to keep my eye on it while I waited for my husbands to be finished. I did get my correct sandwich thank goodness. My husband said "vinegar" when asked if he wanted oil and vinegar and still got oil and vinegar. Other than that and the total lack of good places to sit, it served typical subway sandwiches. $5 footlongs are full of win. This location is by far the most homey Subway I've been to. The staff is super friendly and and service is really quick. Although efficiency is key, they never skimp on the small things; from completely covering the sandwich with meat to consistently tessellating the cheese triangles, service is always at its best every time I come here during my lunch break. A friend introduce me to Subway last year and been going there once a week for lunch. Since I cannot eat of the meat there, I am left with Tuna. I try to come early before 12 when there is crowd and long line. Staff is friendly but not sure why Subway does not allow customer to get more napkins. They seem to control napkins. Great place to find something cheap and delicious. Store has always been maintained cleaned. One employee is a bad apple I've noticed. I went in asking some questions and some specials and the lady kept answering "no" before I even finished asking my question. Today I went to buy an Italian BMT Footlong. The ingredients taste way not fresh compare to Thursdays, when they have sub of the day for Italian BMT. I paid $10 bucks experienced not only a sandwich tasted weirdly sour, but also racism. I'm Asian, and there was another Asian guy waited in line behind me. When when I was about to pay, the manager somehow asked, quote, are you guys together? We didnt talk to each other and there is no trace that we might know each other so she should ask this question but the fact that we are both Asian. I was reading the reviews for the subway on Stevens creek off 85 and their reviews were really bad like cheap and rude customer service and etc. So I came here even though the other one was close to me but when I came here dang they kept this place like 5STARR!! It was clean as hell outside and inside plus as soon as the girl came out to help me first thing she did washed her hands and was nice service as well. Their bathrooms were so damn clean. This is one of the better Subways. Service is fast and they actually smile. Not all the sandwiches are $5/ft but the list keeps expanding. Parking in front sometimes gets full but connects to the larger main lot. They don't always ask, but you can have any of the sandwiches toasted if you like. read more

Since when is a repeat customer a BAD thing? I always thought that owners liked repeat business but the clerks don't - they actually think it's weird that you want to visit often. This happened to me today at this Subway on De Anza Blvd. in Cupertino. The clerk humiliated me by uncontrollably laughing at me which I found to be ridiculous. She thought that I knew her from another Subway that she worked at and I didn't. She actually asked me why I was in that Subway when she had seen me in another Subway once. I told her that I didn't know I wasn't allowed to go to more than 1 Subway in my life! She kept laughing and so I walked out. I won't be going back to this Subway any time soon. This subway is a very diss honest place. Today is Monday and I decided to get the deal of the day. The deal of the day with sweet onion chicken teriyaki. Well I decided to choose the six-inch that comes with chips and a drink at no extra charge since it is the deal of the day. I asked for a wrap instead of bread and they charge me $10 instead of the six dollar advertised. I asked why and they said because it's a different sandwich I don't understand because the only thing that is different is the wrap half in the wrap to be three dollars.Had I would've specifically known I would have just ordered a regular sandwich. $10 is not much but is the General principle of false advertisement. I feel like I have been cheated and it's not much but if they're treating everybody like this they're making a good profit off of cheating everybody. BEWARE !! I have been coming in to this subway for years without much issue. Last year they put in a dinner special which is 2 footlongs for 12 dollars. Not a bad deal. So I come in all the time and order it. I order one toasted and one not toasted. As most people know uncooked food is not taxable so the non toasted sandwich should not be taxed. for a while they would try to charge me tax on both and I would correct them and they would fix it. But today 7/8/2015 at 5:00 two ladies were there whom I didn't recognize attempted to charge me tax on both so I corrected them and they insisted they were correct I told her to call the manager she didn't. They eventually and rudely gave me no tax on both which is not what I wanted I only wanted to be charged properly. I paid and said in a clear tone have a nice day and recieved nothing but an annoyed look. I'm writing this because the ladies were in my oppinion extremely rude and made me feel like I was a jerk for asking them to charge me properly. read more
