    Two thin slices of meat.
    WonderingCloud C.

I like the location and services but, I started to notice the staff been cutting corners on their meats. I ordered two cold cuts and the meat only came with two slices as you can see on my photo. I always put tips but, I'm afraid I will use the tips to double the meat in my future orders.

The Chicken & Bacon Ranch Sandwich

Horrible customer service. There were 2 employees there speaking Spanish to one another. They don't acknowledge my presence they keep chatting, making me feel very unwelcome as if I was disrupting their rendezvous. When my server finally assists me, I asked for the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. She uses the shredded rotisserie chicken instead of the white meat and claims the white meat chicken is extra charge from the usual cost of the CBR sandwich. I've had the sandwich many times and know that Im getting stiffed. If you look at the ads of the CBR sandwich it's still using the white meat chicken and gave attitude during the veggie prep of the sandwich. Then at checkout she says she doesn't understand English when I asked to scan my QR code to redeem points in the app. This whole experience put a damper in my day. You'll get good service if you speak Spanish.

    See? BELL pepper :(

Food 5, Location 5, Service 4 (but 1 for a particular server). Dining outdoor table only as of March 2021. I used to buy one very often here, and my experience was always great. When I asked for "extra lettuce," they put plenty of lettuce. Other vegetables were the same. However, one day last month around noon, this particular new(?) lady was making my sandwiches. Her "extra" for my lettuce was very little. She only put 4 slices of tomato and cucumber for a foot-long sandwich, while other servers have always put 5 each. When I said "bell pepper," she gave me a weird look, looked at another server as if I said something awkward, and said, "Oh, green pepper." (-_-) Well, everyone calls it a bell pepper, besides Subway doesn't serve any of red, orange or yellow bell peppers. Since then, I haven't returned to this shop, and I won't as long as she is there.

My goto spinach salad only, no lettuce, heated veggie patties, Americana cheese, all the other veggies, s&p, oil & vinegar on the side

Small subway with only a few table and chairs. I usually do take out. After a weekend of thanksgiving, dinner parties and meals after meals. I just need some fresh vegetables and a simple salad in my life. My go-to is a spinach salad only, no lettuce, heated veggie pattie w/ American cheese or sometimes Swiss, all the veggies, salt, pepper oil and vinegar on the side. I'm pretty specific on how I want want my salad and they do a great job at listening and if you want extra veggies they will pile it on. Keep the good work Subway!

Best Subway I've been to! Manager was cleaning tables, beautiful salad and very nice staff!!! I'll be back every Wednesday!!! Thank you! Tip: If you're on Keto, this is only 9 net carbs and with avocado brigs healthy fat up a bit more :)

    It's actually 12 inches.
    Kaje Y.

I just wanted to update you all. Due to recent news articles stating inconsistency of the length of a footlong, I took a picture with my footlong with a ruler. The subs here are in fact, 12 inches long. Still my go-to subway!

Lots and lots of veggies @ deanza subway

Living with multiple food allergies can make eating out stressful and, at times, discouraging. Many restaurants try their best, but it's rare to encounter someone who goes as far above and beyond as Jason did. From the very beginning, Jason took my allergies seriously. Rather than treating them as a simple modification request, he took the time to understand my specific concerns and personally communicated with the chef to ensure every precaution was taken. What impressed me most was that he didn't just ask once and move on--he followed up multiple times throughout the process, making sure every item I received was prepared as safely as possible. His level of attention and care gave me confidence that my health and safety truly mattered. Jason's kindness was evident in every interaction. He patiently answered questions, verified ingredients, and double-checked preparation methods. Instead of making me feel like my allergies were an inconvenience, he made me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. That level of empathy means more than people without food allergies may realize. The extra precautions taken in the kitchen were remarkable. Jason coordinated with the chef to ensure separate cooking methods were used whenever necessary and that steps were taken to minimize any risk of cross-contact. My food was packaged separately and clearly distinguished from the rest of the order, which immediately showed me how much thought had gone into keeping my meal safe. Even more touching were the notes left on the packaging specifically for me. Those small details demonstrated a level of personal care that is incredibly rare in the restaurant industry. Because of my allergies, my meal options were understandably limited. I ordered a plain burger with sautéed green beans, while my friends enjoyed several different burgers from the menu. Although my meal was simple, it was prepared perfectly. The burger was cooked exactly as requested, allowing the quality of the meat to stand on its own, and the green beans were fresh, tender, and flavorful. Most importantly, I was able to enjoy a restaurant meal with confidence instead of anxiety. My friends thoroughly enjoyed their burgers as well, commenting on the flavor, quality, and preparation. It was wonderful that everyone at the table could have a great dining experience, despite having very different dietary needs. What touched me most from this visit isn't just the food--it's the care. Jason's willingness to communicate with the chef, verify ingredients, package items separately, use special preparation methods, and personally check in throughout the process transformed what could have been a stressful experience into an enjoyable one. For those of us with food allergies, being able to order food safely is something we never take for granted. Jason made that possible. Exceptional customer service is often defined as exceeding expectations, and Jason exceeded mine at every step. His professionalism, compassion, attention to detail, and genuine concern for guest safety are truly commendable. I am incredibly grateful for the effort he put into accommodating my allergies and ensuring I could enjoy a meal without worry. Experiences like this create loyal customers, and Jason is a perfect example of how kindness and care can make a lasting impact.

The cashier was extremely nice, and she was very patient as I took a long time to read their GIANT MENU. They have Thai Iced Tea milkshakes, I have never heard of such a thing, and I will definitely try it next time. This time I got a strawberry shake. It was my first day quitting cigarettes cold turkey after 25 years, so I wasn't about to risk my shake experience with a possible dud. The strawberry shake hit the spot, or as the youngins say "It hits." The burger and fries were delicious too, or as the youngsters say "Mad fire bro." I would pass on the firehouse fries next time, they were not fire, they were lowkey nasty, as the kids say. Check out my photos, you won't be disappointed.

Customers usually come in, grab what they need, pay, and head out, which keeps things moving smoothly. One of the best things about this bakery is the incredible variety of pastries and breads. Whether you're craving something sweet or savory, there's plenty to choose from: melon pan, loaf bread, dinner rolls, chow mein bread, spaghetti bread, sweet potato bread, crab and roe bread, tomato bread, apple pie, and so much more. Don't skip the refrigerated section either! They carry fruit sandwiches, tuna sandwiches, fried bread, donuts, somen noodles in a cup, and other delicious grab-and-go items. They also offer rice balls and drinks that can be ordered at the register. If you're in the area, definitely stop by and give them a try. Small businesses like this deserve our support!

Clover Bakery & Cafe is a small Japanese-style bakery and café that feels like the kind of…read moreneighborhood spot you randomly discover and keep coming back to. We walked into a cozy, compact space with shelves filled with freshly baked breads, pastries, and prepared foods, all arranged in a way that makes you want to browse slowly even though the shop is small. The atmosphere has that simple, welcoming feel reminiscent of the small bakeries you find throughout Japan, focusing more on quality and variety than on a large café setup. Seating is limited, so it is better suited for grabbing something to go rather than spending a long time inside. The biggest draw here is the combination of Japanese baked goods and savory items. The bakery selection offers a great mix of sweet and savory options, with classics like melon pan standing out for its crisp sugary topping and soft interior that stays light without being dry. The curry bread and croquette bread are also popular choices, both feeling comforting and freshly made rather than overly sweet or greasy. The bakery items are reasonably priced, which makes it easy to pick up multiple things without feeling like you are spending too much, and the variety means there is always something new to try. The onigiri selection is what really makes Clover stand out compared to a typical bakery. They offer a variety of rice balls with fillings like spicy tuna, tuna mayo, and unagi, making it a great option for a quick breakfast or light meal. The rice is well balanced and the fillings give each onigiri a different personality. The spicy tuna has a nice kick that comes through without overpowering the rice, while the unagi adds a sweeter, more savory flavor that works especially well with the slightly salty rice. The onigiri are a practical, satisfying choice for anyone looking for something more substantial than a pastry. Beyond the baked goods and onigiri, Clover also has drinks, sandwiches, and desserts including cakes and other pastries. The strawberry cake is a nice lighter dessert option, and the overall menu gives plenty of reasons to visit whether you are looking for breakfast, a snack, or something to bring home. The offerings feel thoughtfully selected, with enough variety to cover different cravings without making the menu feel scattered. Service is friendly and efficient, and the small size of the shop adds to the charm. Since it has become a popular local spot, some items can sell out during busy hours, so arriving earlier gives you the best selection. Parking can also be a little challenging during peak times, but the quick grab-and-go style makes the visit easy to manage. Clover Bakery & Cafe is a great stop for anyone who enjoys Japanese bakeries. The combination of fresh breads, affordable prices, and unique savory options like onigiri makes it feel different from a standard bakery. It is the type of place where it is worth picking up a few items and trying a mix of everything, leaving you with the sense that you have found a little neighborhood gem that delivers on both quality and variety.
