I asked for extra of some of the vegetables a couple times, and each time the employee making my sandwich refused and told me that's it. A different employee was working on my friend's sandwich and when she asked for extra veggies, the employee laughed/scoffed and reluctantly added. This was the first Subway I've been to that seemed hesitant and outright declined to add more vegetables. Sandwich was tasty but because of the poor customer service, I would not return. read more

When I asked for "extra lettuce," they put plenty of lettuce. Other vegetables were the same. However, one day last month around noon, this particular new(?) lady was making my sandwiches. Her "extra" for my lettuce was very little. She only put 4 slices of tomato and cucumber for a foot-long sandwich, while other servers have always put 5 each. When I said "bell pepper," she gave me a weird look, looked at another server as if I said something awkward, and said, "Oh, green pepper." Horrible customer service. There were 2 employees there speaking Spanish to one another. They don't acknowledge my presence they keep chatting, making me feel very unwelcome as if I was disrupting their rendezvous. When my server finally assists me, I asked for the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. She uses the shredded rotisserie chicken instead of the white meat and claims the white meat chicken is extra charge from the usual cost of the CBR sandwich. I've had the sandwich many times and know that Im getting stiffed. When I entered the facility, the 2 ladies who were on duty were seated in the customer area laughing away at some video (I could not understand as it was in Spanish) they were watching. There is one lady who has been there for a very long time and she acts like the boss, but I don't believe she is the manager. Every time I am there, they only speak Spanish. For those of you who order online, you know that you cannot use more than one gift card to pay for your purchase. So I end up with a lot of gift cards under $2.00 each. California law states that a customer has the right to redeem it for cash upon request. I was there last year and she would not let me cash it. I wrote to corporate and corporate said they will train the staff to cash gift cards under $10. I went there again today to try to cash my gift cards again and the same lady would not let me cash it. I asked for her name and said I will report it to corporate because it is California law that they need to abide by. She refused to give me her name. I asked her several times and she just ignored me and kept speaking Spanish to the other workers there. I told her if she doesn't give me her name I will take a picture of her and submit it to corporate. She then ran behind into the kitchen area and would not come out. I wouldn't leave the store until I got her name (which I never got) so she eventually called her manager Jose. Jose made her cash out my gift cards and she kept giving me the stare down. I will not go back for fear of retaliation or contamination of my food. Service has never been good at that store and they've made mistakes. I've overlooked all of that for over a year. But refusing to give me her name so I cannot report her is unacceptable. If she didn't do anything wrong, then she shouldn't be afraid to give me her name. read more

Small subway with only a few table and chairs. I usually do take out. After a weekend of thanksgiving, dinner parties and meals after meals. I just need some fresh vegetables and a simple salad in my life. My go-to is a spinach salad only, no lettuce, heated veggie pattie w/ American cheese or sometimes Swiss, all the veggies, salt, pepper oil and vinegar on the side. I find it surprising that in spite of having an Indian owner this location doesn't respect the need to change gloves after each customer. Some people do not eat pork and you have touched bacon, some people are vegans and would prefer that the gloves didn't touch cheese. Some people are vegetarian and simply do not want you to use gloves that touched any meat or seafood. It's exhausting to have to ask (there was all new staff yesterday, I hope Jose and his team haven't left) and worse when they have already grabbed a bun with their nasty meat gloves on because if I say something they have to throw the bread out. Service is definitely key! We frequent this Subway very often since it is just across the street from hubby and my work. A couple of the guys there know us by now and are really really nice. Here comes the true test: How do they deal with my husband's obsessive love of their fat-free honey mustard? Him: "Can I get extra please?" Them: *squeeeze* Him: "A bit more please?" I came and was greeted by the male staff and there were also two female staff. I was not ready to order so I let another patron go ahead of me. One petite staff, whom I was not able to catch her name tag, was already assisting another patron with her order. Her work ethics are pretty awesome. She kept busy and always found something to do, instead of waiting for someone else to do it. I give her five stars for do so and having great work ethics. As for Andrea, i believe she can achieve those standards if she really took pride in her work and even though its minimum wage and it is serving food, if one illustrates great work ethic and provides a sense of urgency along with good, if not, great customer service, customers would love to come back! read more

This is the best subway in Cupertino. Especially the morning and afternoon staff. I forget the morning guys name but, he opens the store and does not miss a beat. Accuracy, friendliness, and just down right perfect customer service. Some times I forget my lunch and come here. This subway location is alright. I used to come here all the time when I was still attending Cupertino High. Great location (of course) and pretty fast service. My friend's father has owned this location for awhile and you can tell it does pretty well, mainly because it's an attractive lunch option for Cupertino HS kids. The space here is pretty tight, even for a subway, so seating is very limited. No one usually sits down at a subway anyways, so that shouldn't really be a concern. As with all subway locations, they are very cheap with giving out napkins. It's always just one piece. I've been disappointed with the management recently because they've been cheaping out. Here's a hilarious story to explain why: The last time I came here, I asked for "all the veggies except jalapeno, olive, and banana pepper" The lady started to "fill" the sub with veggies, but only with very thin layers and little amounts of everything. When she was "done" she immediately asked if I wanted any dressings/sauces. I asked her to add spinach and pickles, because she didn't add any initially, even though I said "everything but olives, jalapeno, and bell pepper". I then asked for extra red onions and she said "I can't add anymore because it will be too much". I responded by saying "it's okay, I know you guys pack the veggies down with a knife". She then added 3 more slices of red onion, and proceeded to cut the sandwich in half WITHOUT packing down the ingredients. When she did, a slice of cucumber dropped onto the cutting board and she said "see?" Overall this subway location is decent. It's always super busy here, but the line seems to go fairly fast. Pretty decent customer service. Though some people don't seem to know what they are doing. I asked for a turkey bacon avocado sandwich and then the girl asked me if I wanted avocado? Yes, that's what I asked for, didn't I? Not trying to be a jerk, but come on! It's super small, so there's not a lot of seating, so don't go during peak hours because you won't get a seat, and even if you do, you will have people hovering over you while they wait in line. read more
