Literally the only reason I walked in here is because i had a mailer coupon and VERY little time. Imagine my disappointment when I saw the sign about no coupons. Subway is, like, fine and standard so I don't have complaints about the food quality, and the lady was nice and gave me a free cookie (I think she saw me taking a picture of the sign)... but the kicker is the credit card machine asked me for a tip!!! When a 6" meal combo is almost 15 dollars and I was expecting to spend like 8!!! Probably my last Subway for the year. The lady was friendly going in. We ordered 2 foot long sandwiches. When we go to pay she says it's $31. We pulled out the coupon and she says we don't accept coupons and all the other Subways around us don't either. She said they can't make any money. We tried to explain how frustrating it is. We should have just walked out but we felt bad and took the sandwiches and paid the $31. What made it worse was that I called the other subway equal distance from me but other direction and they said yes they take coupons. Will be a long time before I think about going back. In fact, I walked past another subway today when I was out and thought about a sandwich but said no thanks. Still not over the highway robbery from the other store. What's worse is that I complained to corporate and 3-4 days later I got a standard email back asking me to provide details of what happened. The lady who works at this location is SO nice. You can tell she cares about her customers. I've always gotten exceptional service and just witnesses the same service being given to other patrons. It's true they don't take coupons, but it's already cheap food at probably very slim margins with increasing supply costs. She has given me free cookies at the end of the night a few times too, and I bet her generosity is spread among others as well. read more

Recently ordered 35 footlongs from the Kirkwood Subway for an event at our church. They were finished as ordered and by the day and time we had requested . They put all the sides, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, condiments all on a separate platter. This was such a good idea so sandwiches didn't get soggy and people could customize their own. Would definitely order from them again as they were very nice to work with and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. GB read more

Wooooowwwww. I aged 10 years waiting for my food to be made. This poor kid is struggling. Working alone and with ZERO hustle. His underwear is hanging out of his pants. I'm tempted to say he is high but his wyes are clear. The drink cooler is off but spoiled products are still in it. There's a note printed on the back of receipt paper instructing the customer to ask the associate for a cold drink. When he opened the new package of president-sliced turkey in front of me (I know it's pre-sliced but I have never seen a subway employee do this before), he sliced it with the knife he was using already and they painfully tore the package apart right under his nose with elbows out - I was waiting for the turkey to splat him in the face. The man ahead of me had a foot long and 2 6 inch sandwiches- 1 of which was bread, cheese and lettuce and it took over 10 min to complete. Some of the product was out but I was afraid to ask for fresh because I might lose him to the back room. Upon checkout I was informed the receipt machine is down. read more

Alex & Ben are amazing at this location! My boyfriend and I stopped in a few Saturday nights ago and could tell the boys were slammed with online orders while still having to care for walk-in customers, as well - Yet they never stopped their positive attitudes and great customer service even for a second! When a customer in front of us complained about a slice of tomato on their sandwich not being to their liking, one of the boys politely thanked them for noticing and switched it out for them... I was very impressed by the respectful attitude. They also paid great attention to being completely hygienic on top of everything while working, and answered all of our questions without missing a beat. Overall, very impressed by the work ethic of these two employees and will be returning to this location! :) read more
