I go to this Subway all the time because it's near my job and all was good before but everything has changed including all the employees. Now the service is really slow, the employees are not friendly at all and the bread is bad. It's either leftover from the day before or over baked and hard. This is horrible. They accepted cash only and system was down. They did not know how to input a coupon code so we just ordered and paid full price. We are on limited time for lunch. Worst experience at a subway!!! I walk in and stand by the counter longer than usual waiting for someone to see that I'm there so that they can take my order. Once one them spots me they start my order and walk over to the counter. Then I stare at this guys back for two more minutes feeling rude that I'm interrupting their conversation( see picture attached) when really all I'm doing is trying to pay for my food! I tell the guy what I ordered and he proceeds to ask me " what did you get?" Because he was too busy listening to his co workers conversation!! The second it's my turn to insert my card he turns around again so that all I see is his back!!!! I ended up taking the receipt from the counter myself because he was too pre occupied with his conversation. Honestly there was like six workers there total and they had one person doing everything. They saw me there, they just didn't care. I will be reaching out to customer service as well. Yet another 0 star experience with this place. To be honest a couple of the employees are great, but they are there for a couple of shifts only so the rest of the time you are just AOL. At any rate I went tonight, 30 minutes before closing time and they were already closed! They even admitted that they were closing early "because there were no people". I just wanted a fountain drink but they would not even let me in for that. So let me get this straight... I can't spend my money there because no one else is spending their money there? Lol I don't know about you but when businesses advertise their hours I plan around those hours. If a business advertises their hours are from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm.... I don't show up early in the morning.... Say 5:00 am expecting them to be open. Instead I will arrive at 9:00 am, 12 noon, 8:00 pm or even 10:30 pm expecting them to be open. So when businesses like this don't bother to even remain open as advertised.... When they open and close whenever they want to.... Then why should I even bother to cross my fingers, hope they have decided to be open and go? There are PLENTY of businesses willing to take my money. I like how they give an option of white eggs or yellow eggs. They also allow you to choose the type of bread and toppings, just like their regular sandwiches. It ended up being pretty decent. Way better than before. Breakfast sandwiches comes with coffee or orange juice, which is pretty sweet. 3.5/5 - Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki: tender chicken strips over your choice of veggies and in your choice of bread. Tasty and flavorful. 4/5 SERVICE The staff was friendly but moved a little slow. 3.5/5 FINAL THOUGHTS I like Subway and this location is pretty standard. Luckily this Subway is super close to my office. As soon I as I walk in, the store is tidy and clean. Ingredients are fresh and staff is very friendly. The one thing that has me coming back to this Subway no matter what time of the day, is the way they make my sandwich. They always make my sandwich look just like those perfect sandwiches that you see in the ads! They've always been piping hot when I get them and last time I was here I thought they had run out of the macadamia nut ones. This is the second Subway location that is well within walking distance of the Music Center, and it is open on the weekends. A life saver when you are running late to a show or your reservations at a restaurant fall through. It's Subway, it's consistent. Workers are super sweet and nice when I went. You order what you want and they give it to you. The Broad museum is right next door. If you want to use the restroom, you will need to ask for the key. Restroom is kind of dirty/messy though. =/ read more

Just went here today to have lunch with a friend, and our experience was slightly awkward. Now Subway is Subway. The sandwiches are just fine and the place is clean. Its all that you can expect from a fast food chain sandwich stop. One of the employees today however, kinda lost their cool, and once upon a time I was not a person that someone could ever really lose their cool with. My friend was treating me to lunch and we were chatting away. She points to the deal to the far right of the menu and says "We would both like that, the $5 Foot long Combo" (It comes with a drink, chips, and a foot long for $7 something). A guy asks us what kind of bread we would like, we tell our bread choices and start talking to each other again, since the place is packed and we figure we won't be called on for awhile. We're called on and glance over at our sandwiches, they already have meat on them, it turns out the guy had thought we said "Cold Cut Combo". The girl next to him takes the meat off my sandwich super quick and then goes to take the meat off my friends sandwich, but she says its fine, that its not what she ordered, but she'll take it anyway. I was willing to do the same since I'm not too fussy, but since the meat was already taken off my sandwich I ordered what I wanted. That's when i start to hear, "Well that's what they ordered! She said cold cut combo" Then he starts to go into all sorts of low mumbles clearly bad mouthing us to the girl next to him who warms him to stop. Listen hon, I get it. Working at Subway in Downtown Los Angeles during lunch time and having to deal with fussy "suits" is probably no ones idea of a good time. The place was busy, loud and you probably heard "combo" and just thought since you've probably heard it a million times already today that we meant "cold cut" combo. You're moving really fast, and you're stressed out. I totally get it, but there is no reason to keep glaring and mumbling about us even when we've gotten up to the point where we're paying for the sandwiches. We weren't even making a big deal about it! We were willing to take the accident sandwiches. It was pretty awkward especially since I could hear him, and I really wanted to say all this to him and really tell him to chill out over a *&^% sandwich, but I'm a calmer person these days.
