We came in early on a Sunday and Tim greeted us and took our order. He also cooked our delicious breakfast. My omelette was cooked perfectly and my husband's breakfast quesadilla was giant. It's a two meal breakfast for sure. There was nice chatter about the restaurant and you can see that these people are in to helping others. If you're in Shelton we highly recommend this more than a coffee restaurant.

We also had a slice of coconut cream pie which was solid. Service was pretty effective and efficient. Definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area!!!

The cashier was genuinely friendly and welcoming, and one of the owners, Joseph, even came out from the kitchen to hand us our food. We were also given some house-made hot sauce and dried Aleppo pepper that he brought back from visiting family in Lebanon, such a unique and memorable touch. We also appreciated the overall design of the space and branding. The packaging felt intentional and well done, and the free stickers were a fun bonus. And sometimes doesn't take away from taste, as the case with them. Our server was quite sweet, and attentive. The low rating is simply from atmosphere. This place is just tired looking. The plates are chipped, the cups are clearly old. The tables and chairs are tired. The walls and ceiling are dirty. Our table was dusty/dirty when we sat down. If it wasn't for that, I would give this place a solid 4 for its food and 5 for its service.

Halibut would be well suited for thier simple steaming techniques, and razor slams for the fried foods like prawns and cod. Pro tip: if you are over 50 a free players club card gets you a 20% senior discount plus a free role on the wheel giving you a minimum of $10 free gaming, though we are not much into gambling, we come here for the food.

I'm happy to say this joint is actually legit! I could see this restaurant thriving in Southern California as well. In fact, very few spots in SoCal offer so many toppings on a ~$16 ramen bowl. It's the norm to pay extra for bamboo and other veggies (and sometimes even spice), which Zen auto-includes in many of their offerings. Our takeout orders were packaged efficiently. I like how it's basically like an instant bowl ramen format, where the soup is in a bowl already, and the noodles and toppings are in a separate container above the soup. So you'd just need to pour the latter into the former to enjoy. My only criticism is that the spicy tonkotsu wasn't very spicy at all. If you told me there was zero spice in it, I'd believe you. But my spice tolerance is quite high, to be fair. Still, I'd def smash another bowl given the chance.
