Ok so, usually I go to the one in la off 3rd. Last time they went to fast and my tan was uneven. I went to Pasadena and the technician Karla was just amazing! She really took her time! It was also my birthday so she took extra special time with me. It's been 8 days and even after working out and showing it still looks great! First-timer here! Was referred by a friend who swears by sugaring. Location is easy to find and they even have FREE PARKING spaces in the back of shop which is a plus for the shops on Lake Avenue or in Pasadena for that matter. Booking an appointment was easy and the online waiver means no paperwork when you arrive to check in. The shop itself is very clean and open. The staff gives a welcome vibe. I chose a full Brazilian sugaring. Alissa (hope I spelled name correctly) was great and very patient with my whining...YES it hurt! Despite the pain which is completely subjective to the individual and no fault of the shop, this was a far better experience than traditional waxing and I will definitely return. read more

I appreciate that and wish their business the best. ---- I rarely write reviews, but I feel like I have to share. To preface I've gotten sugared many times before. I know how it goes! The first issue I faced was that I was rescheduled a few times. The first time was okay because I wasn't even on my way to the studio yet, even though it was still quite last minute. I understood because they said it was an emergency. Then the final reschedule happened while I was sitting in the lobby at 9 am on a Saturday which was rough in terms of it being so early on a weekend. They informed me that they couldn't reach the person who would be working on me so I had to find another time. I rescheduled for a few hours after and this time I called to confirm if the "sugarist" was there. When I got there it was pretty easy until she actually started sugaring me. I don't think I've ever experienced such pain. I don't know if it was the sugar or the person doing it, but of all the times I've gotten it done it never ever felt like this. I don't know if this is how this studio sugaring normally feels like, but it's a little traumatic. My past sugar experiences have almost been painless for me but this felt like murder. I lowkey felt like it was on purpose since they had to comp me for this session after the rescheduling issues. Not sure so I can't fully say that. Also a weird thing was when she finished she didn't cover my bikini area with the towel when opening the door. I thought that was a little inconsiderate, even though it really doesn't matter. It's the little things that you expect from a business. All in all, I'm glad they offered to comp me for my session and the receptionist was friendly. But I think there was some miscommunication and it's unfortunate that it trickled down to their business. I'm not sure I'd be back. read more

I came in slightly earlier than my appointment time and they were able to accommodate. The sugaring service was both quick and efficient, and left my skin feeling incredibly smooth. There is one gal here that is top notch, she usually works in the mornings. She is freaking phenomenal and always does me a good Brazilian sugaring. Others girls have left me sticky all over and even on my socks. I do love how clean the facility is and how quickly I get serviced . However the prices have started to creep up and getting hair laser removal is actually cheaper , so I have now gone that route. I will say sugaring is just as painful as waxing (in my experience ) but does make hair grow thinner. read more

Jess was amazing and an absolute sweetheart. She walked me through the entire process and was clearly well informed on sugaring. I felt comfortable and very well taken care of.
