I was hoping to find more Swedish candy options and not just a Swedish candy store - if that makes sense. There were lots of candy options from gummies to chocolates though! The inside was cute and well organized throughout 2 different rooms. They even had a candy making station where you could watch employees, but no one was making anything when we arrived. They also had a big screen that displayed Polkagri fun facts. Overall, this was a very cute store, but nothing besides the Polkagris were any different from the other candy stores I visited during my trip. Staff was very friendly though!

I was in here on a Friday a little after 6pm and no one was in here. I asked one of the young women working here what time they closed and she told me 6:30pm. I then went to check out their back area and oh my they had quite an assortment of Dutch licorice, I was in heaven! I like salty licorice, less sweet and more salty with a good licorice bite and also found one of the brands I really like. I also tried another I did know, just to see what it was like. The brand I am used to I am saving for later as I know what it tastes like. The new brand I got is a bit more sweet than I like but I still like it and it was good I tried it. This is a great shop if youre looking for Dutch style licorice. They also have plenty of award winning chocolates too and a lot of people showed up after I entered and all ordering their chocolates. Their chocolate display case looked so good - they also offer ice cream and milk shakes! They had a separate ice cream bar area which I thought was super cute. They had a whole wall of gummy candy that I had never seen or heard of before! I was tempted to buy some and have a little taste test. The inside was decent sized, but still inviting, clean and organized! Staff were also very nice and the register and even greeted us when we arrived. I would definitely recommend checking Ingeborg's Danish Chocolates if you are looking for a sweet treat for yourself or to bring home to someone! The shop associate told me that the black color comes from licorice powder yet you cannot taste the licorice, only the lemon. There were many things I wanted to buy but had to have control. I love that a mother and daughter team run the shop and I loved hearing the mother speak Danish to an older woman that is one of their regular customers.
