    Salt and Pepper Pok Chops

$12 for salt and pepper pork chops over rice and tea, $15 after tip. No whiny kids yelling "order for me!" No "I want this!" or "I want that!" And no ridiculous bill at the end. Don't get me wrong, I love taking my family out and spending quality time together, but sometimes it's nice when it's just me, myself, and I enjoying some peaceful time alone. People really underestimate how nice it is to eat by yourself sometimes. And for this gem in the area, the portions were seriously huge.

Came here to order salt and pepper fish for CNY 2026, it was definitely last minute, but the staff who answered the phone was super courteous and said they were open till 6:30pm. I called another place prior nearby but they said they closed at 5:00pm and when I went there it was 4:30pm, they turned me away and said no more orders because they were too busy. Anyways I will recommend Suily from now on. As this was the first time I felt they were nice and catered to my needs quickly. The staff was professional and friendly. I'm glad I came here, as I waited for my salt and pepper fish I saw others dining happily and the portions are generous and reasonably priced. They are like a hidden gem. Will definitely be back to try out their other dishes.

If you are looking for a fancy or upscale restaurant, this isn't it. But if you are looking for excellent food at an amazing price, you came to the right place! The portions are huge, the prices offer great value, and the service is incredibly fast and effective. They also have a very large menu with plenty of items to choose from. Bottom line: you get delicious food at a great price, and that is exactly what matters most. Highly recommended for a casual, satisfying meal!

A staple in Daly City, my family has been ordering food from here since I was young. Very cheap and friendly and they opened up seating again.

Finally got to visit Suily's, came during the week at midafternoon in part because I wanted to avoid the rush when the kitchen gets busy. Restaurant was empty so no waiting, and just a short wait for an order of Dry Beef Chow Fun,To Go , price $12 with tax, it was good but needed a splash of Soy Sauce for my palate, no issue with the noodles, had a generous amount of beef, and sprinkle of sprouts. The young woman that took my order, and payment was pleasant. As for the space it's simple, and with a wall of windows welcoming. I'll happily come back.

I visited Suily's, a staple in Daly City for quit some time. Since I now have the opportunity to experience more of their dishes again I asked if they can make one of my all time favorites, bbq pork in scramble egg over fried rice (a specialty dish that I learned decades ago, the locals go-to spot, Sam's Kitchen in Pacifica)! Mind you, this dish is not on their menu but the server was more than happy to have their chefs make it for me. When he presented the generous dish on the table and I took the first bite, it brought back so many memories. Thank you to the Suily's team for being so kind in making my special requests, an experience I can now continue to indulge that brings back so many memories!

Walking in, you can tell this is one of those spots that the locals really love. It has a humble, no-frills feel, but the focus is clearly on serving generous, flavorful food at reasonable prices. The portion sizes were huge, and just about every table had plates piled high with food that looked great. Service was quick and the food came out fast, which made the experience even better. I ordered their egg foo young to see how they do it, and it came out fluffy and light without feeling heavy or greasy. The gravy had great flavor and wasn't overly salty, but what I appreciated most was that they served it over their egg fried rice, which had a noticeable wok hei that tied everything together really well. The wings were good and meaty, but I wasn't a big fan of the thick batter. While they tasted fine, it made them feel more like chicken fingers than wings, which just isn't my preference. The inside of the restaurant could use a deeper cleaning, but the food definitely makes up for it. There's indoor seating, and parking is mostly on the street. However, there's also a lot near the Walgreens right out front if you need something easier. If you're in the area and looking for a solid meal with big portions, this spot is worth checking out.

We have been coming to Suily's Cafe for many years and it has remained one of our most reliable spots for good Chinese food at a great value. Simon has always been fantastic and welcoming, and the service overall is friendly and efficient. This is the kind of place that does not try to be trendy or flashy. It focuses on doing the basics right and doing them consistently well. Want great Chinese food come here. The food is always delicious no matter what you order. Everything comes out fast and piping hot, and the portions are generous for the price. The Hong Tao Yee soup is a must. It is an egg flower soup topped with fried wontons and it is pure comfort food. The rice plates are all solid and come with an abundance of food, making them a great option when you are hungry. The salt and pepper chicken wings are another favorite and always hit the spot. They also offer party trays, which makes this a dependable option for larger orders and gatherings. The atmosphere is classic old school Chinese restaurant. Lazy Susan on the table tea served right when you sit sugar dispenser and red cap soy sauce bottle on the table all the signs of a classic spot done right. The space is small and can feel cramped due to limited seating, but that is part of the charm. You come here for the food, not the decor. Parking is street parking or available across the street at Walgreens, which makes it manageable. Overall Suily's Cafe delivers quality consistency and value every single time. Affordable comfort food done right and a true neighborhood staple.

It says here on yelp new covid update delivery with a check mark on the side.... but I can't find anywhere how to get it delivered, also it's Thursday and I've been calling since 11:30 with no answer, are they even open?

They only have one waiter/cashier. Don't know if they have anyone to deliver. We called first and no one answered. So we went to the restaurant directly and they were open. You might just take a chance and drop by.

Anyone know if Suily's is open (other than Tuesdays)? I tried calling them, but no one has been picking up.

We drove by today and the open sign was in the window.

What are their updated hours for take out orders?

Went there on Wednesday. They are open at 11:00am until 8:30pm except for Tuesdays. We ordered at the restaurant for take-out.

Another guest was waiting for their take-out order. One server working the front of the house. Service was minimal but efficient at the same time. She brought us everything we asked for immediately. The menu is fairly large, but we still managed to order variations of dishes not listed on the menu. Most Chinese restaurants will accommodate a guest request so long as they have the ingredients and they know how to compose the dish. How they work out the pricing may be something else. At the table immediately behind my mom, I heard the guest ordering a Hot & Sour Soup, add Won Ton. One of my favorite mash-ups! We ended up having a very nice conversation over lunch. Of course, we ordered the same soup and the price they charged was a reasonable $16.95. I've had some places try to charge me for two soups which I think is ridiculous. We also ordered a Seafood Chow Mein and a Chicken Dry Fried Chow Fun with Yau Chow Sum. All three dishes came out nice and hot. The flavors were on point very satisfying. I goofed and didn't a picture of the Chow Fun because it came out last and I was already tucking into my Chow Mein. Mom enjoyed it so we'll be back!

No water, just pure concentrated flavor. The restaurant gets its name from simmering, one of the essential Chinese cooking techniques, and you can taste that philosophy across the whole menu. The Dry Pot lived up to the hype, but the real surprise was the skewers. Beef, lamb, and chicken, intensely flavorful and rich. I can't stop thinking about them. The potstickers were also way better than expected. Usually a throwaway order at most places, but here they were juicy and packed with flavor. The beef pancakes were fantastic. Golden and crispy on the outside, juicy flavor bomb on thes inside. Both crunchy and a little chewy (in the good way). Came back a few weeks later with friends and ordered the whole grilled fish, which I'd been eyeing since my first visit. It looked magnificent, but it didn't really pop the way the other dishes did. If you love fish it's worth trying, but the dry pot, skewers, beef pancakes, and dumplings are the stars here. We also got a few veggie dishes which were all great accompaniments...but nobody is here for the veggies. A few practical notes. They have a beer tap but it doesn't work, so if you're into beer, they've got a few options by the bottle. Parking is easy since it's in the Serramonte Center, and you can combine it with a trip to Jagalchi, Target, or whatever else you need. Both times I came there was plenty of seating. I'll be back soon, and next time I'm getting the dry pot with their handmade noodles.

I used to come here as a dry pot/simmer pot specialty store, but now its not great. The lamb skewer I got was borderline tasteless. They are located in a strip mall near several different food places, bakery, and a bowling alley. This is a solid dim sum place, with no frills and reasonable prices. You order off a printed menu that's in Chinese with tiny English subtitles. You can also order off their regular menu if you want to supplement the dim sum dishes. Their food is very good, and some dishes were excellent. The service was pretty quick, and before we knew it, all our dishes were out with almost no room on the lazy Susan. The standouts for me were: + Steamed custard buns (piggy buns) - I ordered these for the kiddies, but dang they are so good. The custard filling is so velvety, it's almost like pudding. I think I detected a hint of coconut too - yum. + Beef chow fun - this had a really good wok flavor and the noodles were less wide than most. The noodles didn't clump either, and the bean sprouts were still crispy. + Roasted pork belly - the skin was so crispy and the pork was juicy. We ordered most of the basic dishes like har gaw, sui mai, noodle rolls, turnip cake, stuffed eggplant, chicken feet, etc. and they were all above average. My only complaint is if you don't read Chinese, the menu is a little hard to navigate. The English subtitles are so small that if you're looking for something, you have to scan the front and back of the menu trying to find the item. I was looking for sticky rice in lotus leaf, but found sticky rice roll and thought it was the same thing. It wasn't. The sticky rice roll was not bad, but I found the rice drier than when it's in lotus leaf. We ordered a few things by mistake because the English subtitles were not that descriptive. Overall, a great alternative to more popular places like Koi Palace. The menu may not be as creative as Koi, but you don't have to deal with the lines and you still get great food.

We tried the BBQ Pork pastry, and it was flaky, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweet and savory--definitely recommend that one. Overall, we enjoyed almost everything we ordered. The only miss for us was one of the fried fish dishes and the green onion mantou, which was just okay. Would we come back? Absolutely.
