We are a group of 9 and we came 15 mins before it closes, they are so nice to accommodate us. The food is sooooo delicious, the fried musubi is so unique. We also tried the pina colada, they are all very yummy. Food is great, service is exceptional, highly highly recommend.

Chicken katsu loco moco & garlic mussels

A total gem in Fairbanks! We got the garlic mussels and the chicken katsu loco moco, and both were delicious. The gravy on the loco moco was so flavorful and rich and the portions were huge, even for the small/bowl size. I grew up dancing in a halau, have been to Hawai'i over 20 times, and was born and raised in California where there's no shortage of amazing Polynesian and Hawaiian food. Even with all that, Sukas stands out as authentic, generous, and just plain good. You can taste the heart in every dish. If I ever find myself back in Fairbanks, I'd 100% come back here again. Highly recommend to anyone craving a warm, comforting, island-style meal up north

I visited twice for takeout and the service is friendly. If you're looking for Hawaiian or Polynesian food, this is probably the perfect (and only) spot in Fairbanks. You'll want to get the deep fried spam musubi. I ordered the bowl which came over rice, side salad and mac salad. Don't miss out on their smoothies as well. I ordered a coconut one and this tropical drink was so delicious. If they added a tiki bar, to pair with the Islander food, that would taste amazing.

Everything here is 1000/10; from the feature y setting with island music to the delicious food. Great job and way to make me feel a good vibe that made me feel I was home in Hawai'i for a moment.

Honestly such good food and kind staff. We had to get to go for our flight out of Fairbanks and I'm so happy we got to stop by. 10/10 people and 10/10 food. The food was crispy and hot! If you're feeling Polynesian food and Asian food this is the spot ! They also have really good drinks we got the lotus drink (pink) and obviously it's finished haha. I did the guava and passion fruit combo :) I highly recommend this place !

Friendliest and kindest staff. Food was delicious and flavorful. Also, you definitely get more than what you pay for. They are very generous with their portions! You must try their mango tea as well as their pineapple tea - so delicious!

You would think when they say huge portions that they are just saying that. Especially if you are coming out of town, but my gosh they are true to their word. A spam Katsu comes with six Pattie's of spam, sticky rice, delicious macaroni , and salad (coleslaw they called it). Me and my husband can eat, but we were overwhelmed. I had the chicken Katsu and it was humongous and delicious and we both had to take leftovers home just like the exit door said. One of the most amazing places here in Fairbanks.

asked for NO macaroni, the bowl was half full

The entire meal lacked overall flavor & the brisket was 99% fat. The mac n cheese was not inherently bad, it just wasn't very flavorful & the brisket was abhorrent. The second time I ordered the pulled pork nachos & again, was unfortunately unimpressed. The pulled pork also contained barely any meat, mostly fat, & the rest of the nachos were just... nothing special. Granted Fairbanks is not known for its BBQ, to say this place serves "Authentic BBQ" is quite laughable... Burger King has more flavor & better food. Not to mention the prices are absurd for the amount of food you get, especially when 99% of the "meat" is just unseasoned fat. Overall, I would say this is half decent bar food that might hit the spot if you're highly intoxicated & starving, but unless you're a beer away from sleeping in the bathroom... I'd recommend passing on this place.

Highly recommend! Fiancé and I got their sweet glazed chicken I believe, and the dumpling ramen with beef. Their Thai iced tea is also soooooo delicious!! Waitress warned me that it would take a while and I could either take a seat or wait in my car (it's a rental and I'm from SoCal during October early snow weather). So I chose the former. I only really looked at the front portion of the restaurant. Didn't seem too busy but one of the higher rated KFC spots and that was my craving. Plus, I went ahead and ordered for to-go since I wasn't too hungry and was more in preparation for the season's first snowstorm. Seemed like any other small restaurant layout with booth seating on the outskirts. Fried chicken smelled good once I walked in. Now the food itself: I appreciate how it wasn't overly sauced so the crisp wasn't completely gone by the time I took a quick bite for the night. I'm sure it would've been better straight out of the fryer. All pieces were still juicy. So overall very much up to par. Just not top tier. Before I got out of my car, a Transient came up to my car door to ask for something. As a solo traveler, I respectfully shook my head at him. He went into the shop next door. As this is in their downtown area, not surprising to have such an interaction. Unfortunately that lowers their rating though.
