He also had his prices up front and was honest about what things would cost before coming in unlike other shops where they will only give you an estimate after a diagnosis. I came in for an A/C repair and he also suggested to replace my serpentine belt which I also did. When I came to pick up my car he informed me also did additional repairs free of charge, including fixing an oversight caused by my previous mechanic which caused a hissing noise. My ac works and the hissing noise is gone. I will be going back any time I need anything, thanks!

When I emailed and asked why more expensive then the dealer, I was told they charged what they needed to charge to make a profit. BUYER BEWARE, this place is expensive and, in my opinion, unethical. I should have gone to the Ford dealer. And I did, I took the same car to Ford in Huntington Beach just last week, and NO Charge. How about that, no charge from a dealer. shop around, get your quote, and call around and check the $$$ numbers. Some people also don't look at the reviews, which would be me. Expensive mistake. The OWNER responds that they provide a 2-year warranty, which is why they are more expensive. Well if the work you provide doesn't last for 2 years, you have still covered your time and effort, but not for the client, we still need to come back and have the work done again, we lose time, but because your MORE expensive, your time is covered. Life is a series of patterens, how many folks need to come back for warranty work? You have numerous bad reviews lately. You need to spend more time taking care of your clients and less time making commercials.

Based on a recommendation from my brother-in-law (our family's "car guru"), I reached out to Edgar. He quoted me $1,200 for the exact same work. It was a no-brainer, and the results were perfect. I recently went back after the dealership gave me a staggering $5,500 quote for a laundry list of items (brakes, axles, plugs, belts, etc.). Edgar looked at the same list and came back at $2,100. I went in yesterday for the brakes and drive belt, and he had me in and out in just two hours! It is rare to find a mechanic with this level of integrity and efficiency. They were able to help diagnose my problems. They found a few other things that I was not aware of what is most important to me is that they showed me exactly what was going on they explained it to me in a way that I could understand and we're extremely friendly. These guys are Masters at the craft. They helped me prioritize what was most important but also worked with me to stay in my budget. I have a list of future work that they also helped me prioritize. I want to keep my 7.3 diesel on the road for a long time this is the place to get it done. I'll be returning there pretty soon to rebuild my front end and a few other things that needed to get done. Dan is very helpful and patient so please be patient with him. Allow yourself some extra time but trust me this is the place you want to go with your Ford diesel. I hang out with a few other guys that also have 7.3 diesel engines. This is gonna be our spot. I think even more importantly is that each thing that was explained helped me leave with a better working knowledge of my engine. They even gave me very solid maintenance advice that I could either bring to them or do you want my own.
