There are two locations for this place, Canton and Livonia. I ate from the Livonia location. With restaurants closed to in door dining (still) a group of co-workers and myself decided to do a carry out lunch. I've driven past this place many times and honestly never gave it a second thought. It wasn't until my friend told me that she has had their carry out at least 5 times and had nothing but good things to say. So for our lunch we all ordered the hibachi chicken and upgraded with fried rice. May sound boring to most but OMG it was delicious!!! The menu isn't big (which I liked) and each meal was served with a salad. The chicken was served over a bed of noodles and they give you "sumo" sauce to accompany. Stir fried veggies and rice also came in my to-go box. Now many people may know what yum yum sauce is and I hear it is the same as what this place calls sumo sauce. Yum-O!! The carry out meal was packed with food and everything in their was fresh and delicious. So much flavor packed in one meal. The salad dressing was also so good! It's a house peanut/sesame vinaigrette something or other. The salad in the other hand was less then desired for my taste. I don't care for all the "artisan" lettuce blends. This place just opened and I was very excited about the idea of counter service hibachi. The prices are comparable to other sit down hibachi grills in the area. I ordered the tuna hibachi and was told my tuna was cooked medium rare, I thought "awesome". Well, tuna was over cooked - no pink at all but the seasoning was good. Manager/owner/whomever claims it was the fault of Door Dash & how order was placed. Said DD person said chicken, just chicken. This place has basically one meal - noodles & veg with salmon, shrimp, chicken or steak (extremely fatty beef - DO NOT order the "steak"). You go in, up to counter and order by saying the main ingredient, i.e. shrimp for shrimp box meal, steak for fatty-ass steak box meal, and chicken for the chicken box meal! But for some reason on this rainy night they decide to change up the ordering(what kind or moron does this, and where was the brain of her supervisor or manager?!) and take an order for a $14 chicken meal to be literally just dry chicken breast cubes! WTF! Manager refused any kind of compensation! Said to call Door Dash for resolution. REALLY? Hell No! We were very intrigued by a local takeout place with 4.5 stars, so naturally, we had to try it. I had the hibachi scallop and my husband had the hibachi shrimp. They were very good about fulfilling our special requests - extra zucchini and cook and box broccoli separately. I was happy to see the scallops are quite sizable, considering it comes from a takeout restaurant. It was good, not amazing. They were on the verge of being overcooked, which for scallops, is a very fine line between tender and rubbery. I thought the noodles were also good, not great. They were a bit heavy-handed with the pepper. I love pepper, but pepper shouldn't be the main taste in noodles. Chicken fried rice was also good not great. It can use an extra dash of salt to bring out more of the flavor of everything else in the fried rice. My husband asked for extra zucchini and I ended up getting more than him and I didn't make any special requests. We asked for the broccoli to be cooked and boxed separately and there were 3 small florets. The onion chicken broth soup was also good not great. I didn't see any onion in the soup but it had several pieces of noodles (the same ones from the side dish) in it. Given how much we paid for these dinners and just being overall good not great, I don't foresee myself craving another meal from there. read more

They give you big portions. You get noodles and rice so that's filling In comparison to Benihana and ichiban it doesn't really stand up to them in flavor but the price is cheaper.. With ichiban being across the street I'd probably just call ahead and get carry out from them. The wait will be virtually the same. I'd spend a few more dollar. Went for hibachi, got good hibachi. The rest was a little lackluster. As mentioned in other reviews, definitely call in your order because if you just walk in, you'll be waiting 20 min or more. The main dishes are served with noodles and either fried or steamed rice and either soup or salad. The salad is a couple of lettuce leaves with carrot and a vinaigrette and the soup is a beef broth with some of the same noodles served with the hibachi and some green onions. We got the chicken hibachi and it was very good, especially with the "yum yum" sauce - a mayonnaise based sauce with notes of ginger and some sort of citrus that really helps brighten up the chicken and vegetables. Service was polite and order was correct, just took a while. Would come back, but definitely calling it in ahead of time. read more

My family has ordered from here a handful of times since they opened and it's been amazing every time. We always get the chicken and salmon hibachis and everything is always delicious. It's a little on the pricey side, but the portions are big enough that it can be saved for lunch the next day, so it's like paying for two meals and it balances out. My first impression of the lobby was it is clean and fresh looking. Very modern with state of the art cash registers and multiple TV's. We both got the hibachi chicken with fried rice for an extra $2. They package everything up with quality containers and utensils.
