Not sure how there are so many "GOOD reviews" but my experience is terrible. We purchased cabinets last year, and even if the delivery is late, there are still problems. The design is not the same as the finished product. You have to wait for a long time for an answer. When there is a problem, the owner can't solve the problem, the only thing she says is "ok, I will give you a call back" and NEVER calls back! unless you can call every day then will take at least half a year to solve it. For those trying to remodel, I highly recommend trying elsewhere if you want an organized and quality experience. read more

I have purchased tiles, slubs and cabinets from Sun Design. I have paid in full for all items between January 2023 and March 2023. More than year later, I am still waiting for multiple items, such as cabinets and parts. Store owner and staffs do not give me any updates on status even after leaving messages and texts, and ignore my calls. After wrong items and damaged goods were delivered, store owner barely paid attentions to the defective items and problems and told me "I hoped you would be fine with it". My project was supposed to be done many months ago but my house is not done because of this place. I do not recommend this place to anyone who would be doing their house projects. read more

We had horrible experiences with the store. We started the customized cabinet order with $15000 down payment in July 2019 and finalized the spec and asked for the production in Mid-September. The store refused our miner modification requests while custom made supposed to be. The installation started very late in December 2019 and lasted for 3 months while it supposed to be finished in a couple days . Poor customer service and followup. They like to show and sell in their store, but if you have any questions by email don't expect a response back. Felt like how car sales people are, they appear/fake helpful in person but it drops off if you have any detailed followup questions. read more

We purchased flooring from Sun Design only to have it buckle. After more delays we finally reached an agreement where they would remove old flooring and replace it but we paid for the new flooring at a discounted price. They were to cover the removal and replacement. That was the last time we heard from them. Still waiting for months! read more

We had our kitchen remodeling done with a sun design center and our overall experience was great. We worked with Dingding and she was amazing to work with. She helped us throughout our project starting from onsite visit, measurements, design recommendation , layout , selection etc. We had a minor hiccup with the contractor and she helped work with the manager and assigned the contract to an Italian designer company and the outcome was amazing. Great customer service! I recently ordered kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities from this store. The process went smoothly. However, after my contractor installed the bathroom vanities, we discovered a paint chip on one of the drawer doors that looked like a defect from the manufacture. Sun design center is the dealer for the manufacture. Initially the manufacture refused to get it replaced, blaming it on my contractor. Then my cabinet designer Dingding from sun design center went above and beyond and eventually got a replacement for me. Highly recommend! read more

Nice collection of tiles. There is an entire wall full of various tiles, such as marble, granite, tavertine, ceramic, porcelain, and more! I went to look at the granite. All of it is outside. Some of the pre-fabricated granite is inside. Nella was the salesperson and she was nice. She showed us around the slabs of granite. She also showed us some pictures of past jobs. That was helpful as it gave ideas on what other people have used for their houses. I would come back to this place because of the great customer service. The bad part is that Sun Marble does not do the remodeling part. They have fabricators to help install. Therefore, you would get two quotes: one for the materials and another for the labor from the fabricator. The quotes for the fabricator includes the removal of the old tiles. This company is dishonest and installed cabinets with two different colors without telling the property owner and told the owner that they installed the cabinets because of tight schedule. After the cabinet installation, all appliances were not connected back and didn't let the owner know. Then the worker sent a hostile text to look for remaining balance. When reporting these issues to the store owner, the owner responded "I don't know what to do". read more

We ordered cabinets and countertop from Sun Design Cebter. We looked at many other stores and found the prices here to be the most competitive. We were doing most of the cabinet installation ourselves and Arnold was very helpful in advising us how we should do it. He had his guys install a tall pantry and a base cabinet for us and took full responsibility when there was an issue with the installation. Came himself with his guys and fixed the problem. We go back to him often with other home improvement related questions and we've been very pleased with his recommendations. read more

It's a good choose of one stop shopping in Sun Design, many pretty mosaics and tiles we can found. They also have variety of cabinetry lines. I went there three times. We have been to numerous slab yards to search for a clean (without too much veining) piece of White Carrara marble for our bathroom counter tops and we found a slab here at Sun Marble. Since then, we have gone back for marble tiles, backsplash, and another slab for our kitchen counter top. Sun has a sizable selection of slabs (marble, granite, soapstone, slate, etc) and its prices are very fair compared to other slab yards. You will also find a large display of 12x12 or 18x18 tiles. Sun's selection of backsplash is mostly made of natural stones; you won't find much ceramic, glass, or porcelain here. Look for Nella! She is super helpful and has an online portfolio to give you ideas for your project. She is one of the nicest and most patient people you will ever meet. read more

I went to Bedrosian's Tile & Marble in San Jose with poor expectations based on my other experience with tile places that day. The first person I met was a delightful young lady named Ashley, who was the Showroom manager, and she immediately sussed out my needs better than I knew them myself, and showed me the very first tile which I ended up choosing. She was SO terrific, I would recommend this business VERY highly based upon my sales experience with the wonderful Ashley who was so very helpful to me. In fact, I was so appreciate of her talents, I went back to her later in the week, to help me choose granite for my 2nd bathroom, which she did with the same expertise that she helped me with the ceramic tile and grout for my first bathroom. I initially had issues with my experience with Sun Marble, and had given it a one star rating. I asked Victor to get me pictures and pricing, and after two weeks, and two calls, I got nothing. I was all set to not give them my business. However, they were the only ones that actually had the slab I wanted in stock, so I dragged my husband down to Sun Marble to take a look. I figured we could order from another store, as this particular color is not know for dramatic differences between any two slabs. Well, the husband and I both really liked the one Sun Marble had, and after measuring, we found that that we could do what we wanted to do with that one one slab. We later learned All Natural Stone had the color in stock, but the slab was much larger, the price higher, and the coloring we were able to avoid in the slab at Sun was instead at a very big space right in the middle. So we decided that we should stick with Sun Marble for the slab. They were patient with us as we needed to keep it on hold until we found a fabricator, and the price we got on it was very friendly. We did end up getting our tile at Bedrosians though, which was also a positive experience. So now Sun Marble gets four stars. They were apologetic about the issues we had before, and worked with us to be sure we had a good experience after. read more

We started our kitchen remodeling project in Feb and after researching many different stores decided to support our local business in Cupertino. Sun design is a massive, beautiful store with everything available for a remodeling project to be viewed in person including cabinet samples, Slabs of quartz, marble, backsplash variety. We were very impressed and bought cabinets and counter slab from them and also used their services for all the work to be done. The contractors who came and did the work were very professional and did a great job. I will absolutely reach out to them for future work. The cabinets we ordered are very good quality. The only problem was that some of the needed cabinets were low in stock so we had to compromise on the sizes. We are very happy with our kitchen and would have given them 5 star rating if they had done the work in a timely manner and properly communicated the delays to us in advance. read more

Sun Design Center offers many products for the home. We have started sending our clients there and they are happy with their product selections. In particular, they have tile that I have not seen elsewhere. They are also a distributor of a new solid surface product called ColorQuartz. One was a leathered surface and our granite fabricator was very happy with it - and so was our client. We've also purchased two other slabs there and have yet to cut into them, although I expect that we'll be equally satisfied with it as compared with other solid surface products (such as Silestone, Caesarstone, etc...). read more
