We ate lunch here a couple of weeks ago and we had to wait to be seated, wait to have our order taken, and wait even more for our food to arrive. A couple of local guys who came in behind us looked to be on a "working lunch" schedule and left because they likely didn't have the time to wait. At the end of the day though, the review is about the food, right? AMAZING onion rings... but their "Ranch dressing" to me is more like Tzatziki sauce (which I fortunately like). The portion of friend chicken livers was HUGE. And the food here is good. I would LOVE to see this place updated. Sunday Diner is not our go-to currently because of the long waits as described, but it is a great plan B when other restaurants are busy. Monday morning breakfast at "Sunday Diner". My husband and I stopped by this Diner for breakfast. We haven't been this way and wanted a home cooked-type breakfast. Well, this Diner didn't disappoint us. Gear choice. I had the Ribeye Steak and eggs\ husband had the Mexican omelette. Both we delicious. The owner was there and thought my steak looked too thin to be considered a full steak so he added another ribeye! Wow, so kind. The Server was very nice and attentive. Pros: Cream of Spinach was really good. Creamy and garlicky. I need to learn how to make this at home. Room for improvement: Fried Chicken was very bland and had a good amount of gristle in it. To their credit, they claimed that they burned my first fried chicken breast and remade it for me. So it took a little longer to come out. So that was kind of them. But it was also very flavorless. Any of sort of seasoning would've helped. The breading was a perfect amount, but didn't taste like much. The French fries were bad. I mean really bad. Soggy, undercooked, oil seemed like it wasn't that hot while cooked... The green beans were alright. Kind of vinegary and not much other flavor. Not really my thing. NOBODY in this place was wearing a mask. Not the employees. Not the 70 year old customers. Georgia's COVID cases have been the highest on record the last several days and I really think at least the employees should be wearing masks even if you aren't going to ask the customers to. read more

Came in tonight with a big appetite, and a craving for pancakes. My very kind waitress told me that their buttermilk pancakes were "hugeee". I ordered 4 pancakes and two fried eggs and it was amazing! Every pancake craving I had was satisfied by those fluffy little monsters. My parents and I stopped in on the way out of town today. Their normal tradition is stopping at Waffle House on the way out but I'm not a big fan of it. We just so happen to see this sign across the street and decided to give it a try. I'm pretty sure they have a new tradition now! My Mom ordered the Loaded Tater Cakes as it was something she use to eat growing up. They brought out 3 big cakes that we weren't able to finish for fear we wouldn't be able to eat our lunch. We had the western omelet, rib & chicken basket and the pork chops with fried okra, turnip greens and cornbread. The servings were huge! There wasn't a single thing that wasn't amazing! First time here. Recommended by a local from Tiger Creek Falls Inn. Large breakfast portions, great food, and very friendly service from Molly who has been here over two years and knows everybody. Prices very reasonable. I had the breakfast bowl and my husband had the pancake breakfast. He had to take half his breakfast home and he's a hearty eater. Pancakes were the size of his plate. Molly went out of her way to tell us about their very special bacon and fresh coffee which is special ground by a local guy named Charlie. I ordered the eight piece family meal which when you look at the menu online it says $16 and comes with two large sides and four biscuits. I added a large size fried okra. The total came out to $27. I thought that was a bit high, but I didn't say anything. When I get home I see that there are no biscuits. On top of that they only gave me one breast, but three chicken wings. Not a very good trade on the consumer side if you ask me. Then I notice that they couldn't even fill the fried okra all the way up to the top of the container. So $20 for eight pieces of fried chicken when you're only getting one breast and three wings and no biscuits. Then $5.50 for a fried okra that's not even filled up all the way. Sounds like highway robbery to me. I won't be going back there again. read more
