    Fragrant Oolong Milk Tea
    Melissa H.

For a post-meal treat, Sunright is the perfect move, especially if you grab the Guanyin Oolong Mt. It has become my recent favorite because the tea is so fragrant and carries a strong caffeine kick. To get the best texture, I always pair it with both the qq boba and the soft cream pudding, which creates a really satisfying combo. I highly recommend opting for 25% sweetness. Since the toppings add their own sugar, keeping the tea base lower helps balance everything out so it's not too sweet. It's a great way to let that bold oolong flavor shine while still enjoying all the toppings at the bottom of the cup. There are 2 ordering kiosks or you can also order at the counter. They also provide samples of the toppings if you want to try any (which I did)!

The drinks are solid here. They're flavorful, you can choose your sweetness and ice level (always a plus) and they have a full menu from milk teas, fruit teas, frosties, coffee and matcha. I don't think there's a drink I've tried that wasn't good. 10/10 recommend. The ONLY thing I wish they had are tables with chairs. The place feels bare but not in an aesthetic way. It feels like something's missing. Whether that's intentional or not, a touch of something would make this feel more like a cafe.

four seasons cheese w/ honey boba

personally a big fan of their brown sugar boba texture. has a great amount of firmness and chew to it. the four seasons tea with cheese is one of my favorites and wish more boba spots carried it but is one of the main reasons i love this spot. i accidentally got honey boba instead last time which was still not bad but the combo of the four seasons with the brown sugar tapioca is top tier. unfortunate they removed all their seating that they had my first time visiting which makes the inside look incredibly barren. ordering is convenient as i usually just do it through the kiosk, although sometimes one doesn't work. parking is no problem, huge huge lot for the plaza

I I have not had Boba for years. And I'm glad breaking that fast was worth it by trying this place out. I have a really good menu, easy to order, and fast service.

No seats! Just know there is no seating in here and they have not had seats in years. The ordering is simple - there are two tablets to order off of to the left after you've walked in. It's easy to look through and take your time, but it removes the human aspect of it. Drinks are delicious - if you've been to a Sunright you know they have good stuff! Can't really talk about ambiance as it's just one big open space :/

The reason I like Sunright is because they are consistent on their boba that are always chewy and drinks that I regularly order are on point. They recently took away red bean topping which we are very disappointed because my parents toppings for their drinks are red bean and Boba. Their coffee selections are a dud and definitely could be improved and have more options. My usually go to is the panda black milk tea that comes with brown sugar and honey boba. My 2nd go to is the Mango smoothie with tea jelly. I've tried some of their special menu options like coffee with OJ and pistachio cream milk tea. Both are a failure according to my taste buds. Lol! I think the Coffee and OJ is permanently off their menu already. Located in the Albertsons Market and In and Out plaza on Artesia and Western.

The good: I ordered a fruit tea, orange yakult drink, Oreo drink, and a strawberry jasmine with aloe jelly. I liked the two self-ordering kiosks and how easy it was to see menu items because of the photos. I liked their snug carrying bags that held two drinks at a time. I liked how the strawberry drink was made with freshly blended strawberries. The yakult drink also had fresh orange slices. The bad: The interior is spacious but they either removed or just don't have seating (both indoor and outdoor). They were out of all of their pistachio series drinks (Dubai chocolate). Online for mobile orders they had a kids yogurt drink option but when I came in they said there was no option for that so I got a regular size. The interesting: With gift cards you cannot use their self-order kiosk. They have a "shake 17 times" slogan. They have lots of SoCal locations.

Sunright is one of my favorite tea Studios I have gone to multiple locations and the consistency in flavor amazes me because they are all really good. If I come to one of their locations, I am guaranteed a yummy drink. I'm kind of basic so I like just the traditional milk tea 50% sweetness with Boba, but I love how this place actually lets you customize the sugar level and it actually taste less sweet. I also really like the yakult drinks. I love that this location is open until nine because sometimes I want Boba late at night . And service is super quick always. My only complaint is that the last two times I went they were out of coffee drinks and my friend was a little bit bummed about it. What flavor and variety wise this place is solid.

Good drinks, service depends on whose working, sometimes it takes awhile sometimes it doesn't. The bananas looked kinda .. weird though. There were like three pairs that were old and dark.

Easy to order from Kiosk and wait time was fairly quick! They have cute anime drink cups! No seating but there's space for it so not sure if they took it out or don't allow people to stay and hang out anymore. We ordered the Pistachio Matcha w/cheese foam & Fragrant Oolong Lychee. Both yummy! Went on a Friday--open til 10pm.

Had to give this place 5 stars just because they made my son's day with their Omori collaboration drinks. We came on the last day of the promo with only a half hour before they closed and they were super cool. The drinks were really good and came with a custom coaster that was a great addition to the collab. Place was nice and clean and would definitely go again.

Great Demand, But Poor Convenience for Working Customers…read more I've had The Nook's mushroom coffee before. My best friend took me here on a weekend afternoon, and even then there was a line, although it was manageable and mostly stayed inside the shop. Because of that experience, I knew The Nook was popular, but I wasn't prepared for what I encountered on a weekday morning. I wanted to pick up a coffee before work, so I actually planned ahead. Before leaving home, I checked the mobile website expecting that, given the obvious demand, there might be an order-ahead option. Unfortunately, there isn't one. So I gave myself an additional 30 minutes specifically for parking, waiting in line, ordering, and waiting for the drink to be prepared. I figured that should be more than enough for a morning coffee pickup. I arrived around 7:30 AM, and as I walked toward The Nook from the south side of The Enclave, I could already see the line stretching out of the door and into the courtyard. I was honestly shocked. There were easily 15-20 people ahead of me. I decided to give it a fair chance and got in line. After 10 minutes, the line had barely moved. At that point, I walked out. I understand that popular businesses get busy, especially in the morning. But there is a difference between being busy and having a customer wait in a line of 15-20 people with virtually no movement at 7:30 AM, particularly when there is no mobile ordering or order-ahead option. For a coffee shop with this level of demand, I find the lack of an ordering system especially frustrating. If you're going to consistently have lines extending outside the business during the morning rush, there should be some way for customers who are trying to grab a drink on their way to work to order ahead. And that's really my issue: the customer experience doesn't seem designed for people who need coffee efficiently. If you're coming here on a weekend, have nowhere to be, or are willing to dedicate an unpredictable amount of time to waiting, you may have a completely different experience. But if you're trying to get coffee before work, I would strongly recommend accounting for significantly more time than you think you'll need -- or having a backup plan. I no longer work as close to The Nook, and I don't drink coffee after noon, so I don't have much reason to make a special trip. Unless I'm conveniently nearby and see little to no line, I won't be making another attempt anytime soon. The Nook clearly has a loyal following, but popularity shouldn't come at the expense of basic convenience. If the demand is consistently this high, the ordering process needs to catch up with it.

This place is a total gem, and if you haven't been yet, you are seriously missing out! Let me tell you about the star of my visit, the Matcha Cream Filled Croissant. Oh. My. Goodness. This thing is on another level. The croissant itself is buttery, perfectly golden, and incredibly flaky -- with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. But the matcha cream filling? Silky smooth, lusciously rich, with a beautiful earthy matcha flavor that isn't overpowering or too sweet. It's the kind of bite that makes you stop mid-chew just to appreciate how good it is. I honestly could eat three of these in a sitting. The Korean-American fusion approach to their baked goods is inspired and completely unique, you won't find anything like it anywhere else in the South Bay or in Gardena. Seriously Impressive, I paired my croissant with their Iced Matcha Latte, made with premium grade matcha sourced from Jeju Island, and WOW, this drink is stunning. It's vibrant, beautifully layered, and tastes as amazing as it looks. The matcha is bold and authentic without being bitter, perfectly balanced with creamy, cold milk. Not too sweet, not too earthy -- just absolutely perfect. It's easily one of the best iced matcha drinks I've had in a while. You can customize your milk choice too, which is a great thoughtful touch. This place is warm & welcoming: The staff here is attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and made to feel at home. The baristas are well-trained and knowledgeable, they took their time explaining the menu and made sure my order was exactly right. No rushing, no attitude, just genuine hospitality that keeps you coming back. Decor is absolutely Charming. The interior of Smoking Tiger is adorable and so well thought out. It's modern, clean, and stylish with a cozy Korean café aesthetic that feels fresh without trying too hard. The lighting is warm and inviting, the seating is comfortable, and the whole vibe just makes you want to stay for hours. There's both indoor and outdoor seating available, which is a great bonus. Whether you're catching up with a friend, working on your laptop, or just treating yourself to something special, this place sets the perfect mood. One thing that really stood out to me was how immaculately clean this café is. The tables, counters, floors, and display cases were all sparkling, it's clear that the team takes real pride in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for every guest. A clean café is a happy café, and this one passes with flying colors. Bottom Line, Smoking Tiger Coffee & Bread is the real deal. Creative, high-quality food, exceptional drinks, warm service, gorgeous decor, and a spotless space, this place checks every single box. Since my first visit, there's been many competitors opening around Gardena, but I find myself drawn back to this place because of the balance of spaciousness (there's actually places to sit whenever I go!), quality of products (the espresso shot is pretty strong and they have many beans to choose from), and best of all, price of their drinks (specifically the specialties). While I wouldn't say the prices are a bargain, it feels more reasonable than other local competitors. One thing I do miss is that 2 years ago, the pastries weren't individually wrapped. We used to have the option of selecting pastries with tongs, the typical experience you'd get when going to a bakery in Japan. Hopefully they would bring that experience back again! Until then, I'll keep returning for their quality drinks!
