Finally a place that does Mongolian bbq that is not at the mall. It's a buffet style place that charges by the pound. You can get Chinese food and Mongolian bbq. For the Mongolian bbq, grab a bowl and stack it high with whatever you want. Leave it with the cooks and they will do the rest. It can get a bit busy but it is worth the wait. The food was cooked perfectly and they added the right amount of sauce. I didn't try any Chinese food this time but it sure looked tasty. read more

My favorite local spot in Covina!! I kept hoping for years to have a good Mongolian spot closer to me in Covina and I got so excited when I saw the sign coming soon! i've been coming ever since it's opened and it's so delicious!! the prices are great. this is the only Mongolian that I go to locally. I have now eaten here at least 10 times. Food by the pound. Very good for the price, and tasty. The hot and sour soup is really good, and given the price, a must have. It is nice to be able to put as much or little on your plate and be charged accordingly, with a great number of selections to choose from. For the price charged, it puts many other similar restaurants to shame. You will most likely not be unhappy eating here, and possibly have found your next, let's go there again location. The food was alright , noodles were dry and lackluster. Sriracha sauce was watered down. Seems like a pretty cheap thing to be doing on top of no refills. I can understand getting the actual Mongolian BBQ but if you're just trying to get Chinese food - you're better off going to Tasty Goody , right next to Stater Bros. The quality and quantity is great, they really do you right. Can't say the same about this place lol they charge about 8 bucks a pound. New Mongolian fast food restaurant in Covina, Ca. Not bad. Disturbs me that the cook will put three separate orders on the grill at once. Mine inherited the spice from another order. Not cool. I like spice but not as much as the other lady did/does. It's kind of on the expensive side. You know how you go to Yogurtland and they charge by the ounce? Same deal here except by the pound so if you like a lot of veggies or meat, you're kind of messed out. It can get rather expensive. They do have a nice selection of items just careful not to go overboard. They also have a small selection of Chinese dishes on a hot bar but stick with the Mongolian. Drinks are fountain ($2.25 for small, $2.99 for large. No refill), Arizona cans for $1.99, and bottled soda (unknown price - guessing $2.50 like at store) Now, might want to get food to go. Thete was no a/c when this was Pollo Loco and there still is none. Warm in there. Ample seating but if you sit in the back you may end up engulfed in cooking steam at times. read more

First of all, this place is clean and organized, so love that. But we especially loved that they had the option for Chinese food OR Mongolian. Definitely never seen that. The Chinese food was GOOD. And the Mongolian as well. I'd say this place was a steal price wise and good food. Definitely coming back again. My only complaint was that it was a little hot in there. This place seemed promising since it was close by and usually I have to travel far for good food in the area. It's kind of sad but I wanted to try this place out. My surprise it had typical Chinese takeout and only half Mongolian bbq style. A Chinese style hybrid, not all Mongolian bbq. It doesn't have sauce options and it being measure by weight is fair. The chef didn't even look at me, only listening to his EarPod, and he didn't even put a lot of sauce on the stuff he was cooking so the majority of the meat came out dry and overcooked. It tasted like nothing...This was a sad experience and overall lacked everything that a place on grand does better, especially service and ambiance. The food made my families stomach upset so definitely not coming back again. At least we said we tried it. read more

He has an ENTIRE grill with plenty of space but cooks your food so close to others food. The good thing is they charge by the pound & you will for sure get a taste of someone's elses food.
