When we researched the amount of the part and how much they supposedly charge an hour they were over charging us at least $90. When we called them on it, they screamed on the phone and said, "Fine! We'll take $100 cash". So we agreed to that number and then not even 5 minutes later they called and said, "Forget it. We took out the new part and put back the old. Deal off" So we had to tow it to another autoshop. It's as if they got upset because we called them out trying to overcharge us then they retracted their deal out of pride without even trying to rebargin. Unbelievable. They must be spending too much time in Adam & Eve- the adult store next door! Take your car someplace else! There are plenty of places in Worcester!!

In order to re-gain coverage on my car my insurer required an inspection and the closest agent they recommended was Auto Depot. I drove over there one day and walked up into the office. It turns out that the business was officially closed while they did inventory (and I think some staff were on vacation). Despite that, when they found out I needed an insurance inspection they grabbed the paperwork and a camera and took care of me. I was pleasently surprised that they did this while "closed" since I don't think inspections for insurance companies are a big money maker. A few months later (and after dumping the vespa on a street one day thanks to a wet manhole cover) I brought the scooter to them to see if they could repair a couple of dents and a lot of paint scratches. After taking some gentle ribbing about owing a scooter (I think some of the staff are serious motorcycle heads) they gave me a price estimate and told me it may take a few days of work since they'd have to custom match and mix the paint. At that point one of the owners offered to give me a ride back to Roslindale Village where I could easily walk or grab a bus back home to my house. They were unable to get official Vespa paint so they used some sort of optical scan gun to read the colors and generate the info they needed to have a shop mix up a custom batch. The end result was fantastic - except for some scratches on some chrome bits that I don't care about they fixed all the dents and matched the scooter paint *exactly* when repairing the body scratches. The final price was exactly what they had estimated as well - no surprises. So in summary: * They opened the shop just to perform an insurance inspection on my car * An owner drove me to Rozzie Village after I dropped off my scooter * They mixed custom paint when fixing the scooter and did great bodywork * The paint/bodywork estimate was exactly what I ended up paying Obviously this is just my $.02 but they've earned my loyalty and I'll be bringing the car back there some time to get some body panel scratches fixed. -chris

Not only fixed my car through the insurance claim but also a handful of other things, like an oil change and brakes. They're an all-service shop, which is really helpful. They were also able to somehow get my deductible lowered, which was really awesome and unexpected. My only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is that I had also asked them to check my wipers and they forgot but that's really not a big deal. I'll call them and take it back in at some point, but really not a big deal. Overall, I think I've found my new favorite body shop. I would highly recommend them.

We brought the truck back multiple times, spending hours traveling, but their attempted repairs didn't fix the issue and their explanations were inaccurate. Since then, additional problems have surfaced, including oil leaks (front differential and rear main seal), non-working heat/defrost, electrical issues with lights, a broken radio, and a non-functioning passenger window. We also had concerns with how the deal was handled upfront, including being encouraged to temporarily change insurance in a way that could be considered misrepresentation just to satisfy the bank. Despite giving them opportunities to make it right, Dormans Auto has refused to repair the vehicle or take responsibility. Very disappointing experience and lack of professionalism. They're not just lying conartist, but also arrogant, just as much childish, unprofessional & very disorganized. I speak from my very own personal experience. I brought my 2021 Black Chevy Tahoe to A&E Auto for a minor repair & paint needed on the rear right door & rear bumper. I specifically asked the A&E Auto owner Phillip Marques if they're capable of reparing each with original manufacturer factory finish paint job, with both color & texture match. That conartist assured me that yes that they were capable of doing such work for $1200, then tried over charging me asking for $1600 on the day I went by to pickup my Chevy Tahoe, Supposedly because they did extra work with blending the rear rt panel & rt front door which wasn't part of our original consensual agreement & kindly payed him an extra $200, So $1400 total. I requested for the invoice, But was told I'd get it by email by tonight, but it was never sent. When I took a good look at the work they did, Not only the color nor the texture didn't match the original manufacturer finish as Phillip Marques had promised but also notice they've butchered & damaged the entire right side of my Chevy Tahoe with the disastrous incompetent, negligent & inexperienced job they had done. Including to multiple other areas both in the outside & in the inside of my Chevy Tahoe which were once perfectly fine prior to them damaging them with over spray & being directly sprayed on. Not to mention all the paint runs, swirls, fish eye, as well other defects on multiple diferent areas on my entire right side of the vehicle. As well as discoloration due to them experimenting when mixing up diferent left over black paints which Joey (worker) said they had in the back. Which pretty much says, They had no plans nor any intentions of ordering the original manufacturer paint thats meant for my Chevy Tahoe based on its VIN Number. When I confronted Phillip Marques, Questioned & showed him the disastrous job they done to my 2021 Chevy Tahoe at his shop while under his care & supervision. I requested for him to make things right by taking responsibility & accountability for it, He became upset, arrogant rather than owning up to it & says what did you expect to get done for $1200, Do you know how much the job on the door & the bumper really would've cost you some where else to get it done the way that you wanted? At that very moment, I decided it was just best for me to just get into my vehicle & leave the premises just to avoid the issue from escalating. I brought my vehicle to other body shops to inspect their incompetent work & all the damages they caused to my vehicle hoping to get an estimate for the cost to repair it, But was told they'd not be interested in putting their hands on someone else's bad work. Another Auto body shop owner said he would restore my vehicle back to its factory state, but he would 1st have to undue A&E Auto shoddy work, by fully stripping the entire right side of my Chevy Tahoe along with the bumpers & bearing each individual part to the bone for proper preparation & proper repairs in order to get it back to where it needs to be, Then handed me a written fully detailed estimate for the cost to repair the damages done at A&E Auto totalling (Estimated) $8,700. But not a final cost in case there's anything else that needs to be done or replaced. So what was once said to be a $1,200 job for minor repairs & paint to the rear rt door & the rear bumper by A&E Auto owner Phillip Marques, after the disastrous job done to my 2021 Chevy Tahoe & also damaging its entire right side at his A&E Auto body shop Now turned out to become a $8,700 job to fully restore my entire right side of my 2021 Chevy Tahoe back to its factory state. The owner Phillip Marques denies to provide me with his insurance company information for me to file a claim to help cover for the repairs, Also denied taking any responsibility in covering the payment for the repairs, Leaving me with no other choice left but to file a lawsuit & sue him in court if my Demand Letter is ignored & a resolution hasnt been granted within the 30 days given in good faith hoping Phillip Marques comes into reasoning before I take legal action. FIRST IMPRESSION: Elaine at the front desk walked me through the process. She was very kind and patient. You'd be surprised at some of the off-putting/uncomfortable/ or condescending interactions I had at other shops before coming here. She didn't need much information other than my insurance quote. I was given a drop-off date and told how long the repair should take. She made sure I knew how the rental car situation would work. She was very proactive; she called me a week before the drop-off date to let me know she hadn't heard anything about my car rental reservation and wanted to alert me. DROP-OFF: On the day of, I had car rental issues, none of which was PC's issue, but Elaine again was patient with me until I had that straightened out and offered to make me a cup of coffee. PICKUP: -which was indeed the expected date originally quoted to me, I had some issues with my debit card and it was almost closing time. Both Elaine and Ken were so very patient with me. They allowed me to take more time to go to the nearby bank branch to clear up the issue, which put me back at PC after closing time, on a Friday no less. Ken was gracious about the whole transaction and walked me to my car. WORK PERFORMED: -was a big replacement from a rear end collision. They were able to work a previous damage that directly affected the job they would be performing into a supplemental charge to the insurance company. When I say that car never looked so good, I truly mean that. The new version of my car was thoroughly detailed inside and out and the replacement was seamless. I HIGHLY recommend going to Precision Collision for Auto Body work if you are in the area as they are kind, courteous, and true craftsmen in their field.
