Please note that my review comes from the perspective of someone that's tried it all. I've had Chubby Cattle BBQ, Bacchanal buffet in Las Vegas, Lone Tree buffet in Brentwood, China Wall Buffet in Concord, Tomi Susbi and Seafood in San Jose (Concord in the past), Hibachi Grill in Fairfield, Fuji's in Fairfield and Vacaville, Empire Buffet in San Pablo, you get the point. We eat at a lot of buffets. This buffet in comparison to the ones similar to it above (China Wall, Hibachi Grill, Empire Buffet), and this is a solid 3.7/5 to be nice about it. This is rating it considering its location, availability of buffets like this in the area, variety of the food, quality of the food, and service. Let's rule out a few numbers. It's for sure not a 5 stars buffet. But is it 1 or 2 stars? Heck no. 3 stars? Slightly better yes. 4? Not quite. 3.5-3.8 stars is where it truly fits. $21.99 for dinner and all day weekend pricing. $2.75 per drink. Not a bad deal, for the area. Lone Tree Buffet is a 4.7/5 in comparison and is the same price. The quality of the food was good overall. But a bit salty. And a lot of fried food options. The string beans were cold. Most items were hot. High ceiling inside, the staff seems really nice and welcoming. For drink refills, I had to get the attention of the single 1 waiter there each time. Unfortunately while eating, all I could think about was the appreciation I had of the other buffets and how better they are. But for the area, this is truly not bad. Just not great. Normally I try to eat my money's worth at a buffet, but here I didn't feel like I wanted to. There was nothing special, no stand out item there that I wanted to go back and forth for. I gave this a 5 stars on Yelp to increase the average rating, to bring it closer to what I feel is its true rating of 3.7/5.

08.15.2025 $21.99 for dinner. Good for quick Chinese lunch or dinner.

Unfortunately the last time we visited, the food quality went down in regards to the crawfish/crabs. Chowmien and fried rice are still a hit.

My boyfriend and I went in on Friday night around 7:30pm! Our experience was great! We paid $18.99 per person and about $2.50 for each drink with free refills. They have a great variety of food, everything I tried was delicious. My favorite was the chow mein and honey walnut shrimp. We didn't realize they closed at 8pm. I noticed they started to clean up the near sections, yet we didn't feel rushed, they left all the food out, so that was nice. Nobody wants to feel rushed. The business owner came by and asked us how everything was, he even told us to take our time. Really we were damn near full and ready to go, then Right before we were done, The business owner came over to us again and asked us if we would like to take any food home, he brought us over a to go container and insisted we take food home, then he said take more, and gave us another container! I thought wow how nice and generous he was. What a great experience!

Reallyyyyy good. The sweet lemon/ honey shrimp was the best I've had. Don't understand the negative reviews

All this food was cold, like, scary food poisoning cold.

Went in and felt a little sketch. Tons of seafood, all with nothing covering, labeled and it was all cold, dead and dry. Hopefully I'll let everybody know if I get sick. i will be calling the health inspector on Monday. This place should not be an operations under any circumstances and all whatsoever. Only 3 min in and I went to tell the manager that things were cold, and he looked at me with a blank stare. I went to the front and asked if I can get a pass for another time and they said absolutely not. I truly believe that this establishment had no right to be in business and 100% is liable for all food born pathogens. If the health department has any amnesty, they will shut it down ASAP. If you've ever gotten sick or seen how they hazardously serve the food in a contaminated manner, please email the city: safe707@sonoma-county.org

Hours of operation. Yelp needs to update this.

Greeted by a super friendly hostess who seated us in a booth with menus immediately. Really clean restaurant. Kudos to our server Sieana who was incredibly gracious and described our meals perfectly. I had the meatloaf dinner and my girlfriend had the fish & chips. Both were a large portion. Possibly the best meatloaf I've ever had? So good especially the sauce on the meatloaf. The fish & chips with 3 large pieces of fish and plenty of french fries with coleslaw slaw on the side. When we first sat down and greeted by Sieana we had our waters filled and drink orders taken. I believe one of the managers brought us out a small dish of house potato chips and a homemade ranch dip...LOL...My girlfriend loves her chips! Overall a really excellent Sunday afternoon meal out with my girlfriend. We then hit the casino floor for some fun. She won a few hundred and I lost same. All in all a day out having fun. We've ordered a lot from here, and I can't think of anything we didn't like. If I had to pick a favorite, it's probably the hot and sour soup. It's a perfect combination of hot to sour ratio. I've had it in a lot of places, and they just get it right every time. The string bean chicken is also one of my favorites. It's very flavorful, and the green beans are very fresh and cooked perfectly. We also really like the asparagus chicken, Mongolian chicken, walnut prawns, moo shu chicken, and the potstickers. My wife loves the sweet and sour chicken, and my daughter is all about the wonton soup. What's funny is we've never actually sat down and eaten there. I always say we're going to, but usually when we're in the mood for Chinese food, we just want to take it home. Every time I go in though, the place looks really nice and has a great vibe. We've just gotten into the habit of doing pickup. At this point it's just kind of our default. When we're in the mood for Chinese food, this is where we end up.

Their chicken chow mien and chicken fried rice is to die for! They have a very large menu with a ton of different options, and seating options ranging from small tables, booths, large tables, and you can also sit at the bar. The hostesses at the front are always welcoming and polite, and the servers are knowledgeable and friendly. Honestly, I struggle not to eat here more than I should because the food is so delicious! I will mention, especially on holidays, they are absolutely swamped. They have a huge following from the locals who know how good the food is, and they're definitely a favorite for people to order out from on holidays. Sometimes they do have trouble keeping up with the sheer number of orders they seem to receive. All in all, if you're going in the evening, I highly recommend reservations, and if you're ordering online on a holiday, order early so you don't miss out or have to wait too long!

Made me want a ribeye, which I bet is probably amazing. But since we only had time for light bites and a cocktail, we took full advantage of their Happy Hour Menu. A few small plates to choose from and some handcrafted cocktails along with beer and wine, and a free-spirits fruity mocktail. Service was excellent! Our waiter was attentive and courteous. We were always checked on and our table was always cleared as more food or drinks arrived. We ordered: Kiwi Bloom cocktail - What a gorgeous cocktail! Don't let her looks deceive you. It was delicate and refreshing but packs a punch! (This was not on the happy hour menu.) Spicy Hummus - Nice flavor and not too spicy. The pita chips were seasoned and complemented the dip perfectly. Crispy Calamari - Small little pieces with an even amount of tentacles, my favorite! Came drizzled with a sweet orange glaze so no need to dip it in anything. Prime Rib Banh Mi Sandwich - not quite Vietnamese enough but it was good. Not so Mini Burger - delicious. Truffle Fries - the aroma alone makes you want more. Tuna Tartare Tacos - I like the presentation. The tuna was seasoned but I felt like I needed acid or to dip in ponzu sauce. Oysters on the Half Shell - Kumamoto: - fabulous and fresh! Loved the cilantro mignonette. Caesar Salad with Fried Calamari - HANDS DOWN MY FAVORITE DISH OF THE EVENING! Perfectly dressed whole romaine lettuce heart leaves with perfectly crisped and seasoned calamari. This was soooooo good! I've never ordered a Caesar this way nor have I ever seen it on the menu at any restaurant before. I would order this again and again! (This was not on the happy hour menu either.) The fact that Hang Ah charges $8.45 for an order of har gaw or shu mai today when just a few years ago this dish was half the price at most dim sum spots puts a money chill in my very bones. But the fact is that their flavors are on point brings me back in the future. I had one of the best turnip cake dim sum I have ever tasted. Crispy fried with some great flavor through and through. I would order this dish every time I visit in the future. But I would also request that they sear it on both sides for optimum tastiness. The har gaw and fried squid were also full of flavor. I do think that in the future I would request the squid extra crispy as it was a bit undercooked and limp when it should be crispy af. :-) The spot is typical of Chinese restaurants in terms of ambiance and service. We had gotten chicken chow mein, mongolian beef, eggplant and tofu clay pot, sauteed string beans, pea shoots, turnip cake, and egg custard buns. The mongolian beef had pretty good flavor tho it tasted different from the norm. Different brown sauce of sorts. Still cooked well though since it worked in this case. The string beans and the eggplant/tofu clay pot were cooked well. I liked the flavors on them tho the clay pot needed stronger flavors. Usually for clay pots it would sit in the sauce and be practically enveloped in it. That and the chicken chow mein were both a bit bland unfortunately. The pea shoots had pretty good flavor and garlic but were a tad undercooked; hard to chew through. Turnip cake were decent, custard buns were still on the cold side. A quick trip to the microwave did wonders for the buns. Decent for the area but still hard to meet some of the marks for us.
