I ordered 2 weeks in advance the Phasto package for 30 people.Pulled pork, brisket and paid an up charge for smashed burgers the pork was dry, brisket dry and smash burgers were stuck together in a small pan and were grossly over cooked. The pork and brisket tasted like it was leftover from the day before and reheated. Slaw was delicious , Mac n cheese dry(also an up charge ) potato salad ok Portions of meat were small. The charge was $845.50

Great food, great portions and a great price, some of the best food I had on my trip, the staff were great, I regret not buying a couple of bottles of sauce while I was there, I meant to go back on my way out of town, but alas my plans were foiled.

Pulled pork tacos - $14 of disappointment
    Josh F.

In one word...disappointing. I ordered the pulled pork tacos. It was $14 for three tiny tacos. They were bad. It was a tiny soft shell with slaw, cheese and maybe 0.5 ounces of pulled pork per taco. Kids got a pulled pork sandwich. One kids sandwich came with about 3x the meat of all three of my tacos. To make it even worst, for $14 I didn't even get a side or a drink. That said, the sides were pathetic. No fries. The chips were just a cheap bag of regular chips. I will say, the ribs are good. My son got the kids ribs. I should have done the same. Inside looks a little out of date and run down. Last time we were here was probably 10+ years ago. I feel like it was much better back then. Definitely won't be back. Food isn't that great. And the value is awful.

    Here is the truck.

Thank you to the ladies with Super Smokers Food Truck (C&B Grub and Pub) The food truck was perfect for our son's medical school graduation party. The ladies were so nice and went above and beyond to make everyone happy. The food was delicious and abundant. we would rehire them in a heartbeat. Thank you for working with us!

Do NOT recommend this place. Food is terrible. It's not bbq or smoked food at all. Service was good but who cares if food is garbage. We ordered ribs and gumbo. Food came up in 5 minutes!!!!! Faster than milkshake. I will attach pictures so you can see that ribs had no bbq sauce on it and are burnt. It's was super hard to chew. Taste was like they used liquid smoke. I had to ask for bbq sauce so I got couple plastic containers. Gumbo was pretty much mix of shredded chicken and green enchiladas sauce. Terrible food. Manager offered to bring something different but I don't think that would help with how bad it all was. I spent 42$ and pretty much didn't eat anything

    Smokehouse Burger.

First time at this location. The inside is basically like a diner, nothing fancy. They were not busy at all, maybe two other tables in the whole restaurant at 5 o'clock The waitress was very good. The food was just mediocre. It was burger week and we ordered their special burger with the pulled pork on it The Smokehouse Burger. It was pretty disappointing. The burger was really dry and tasted like it was just a frozen patty. Nothing fresh about it. We did split an order of their crinkle cut fries. These were really good. Had a very good seasoning on it and there were quite a few fries in the order. Probably would not recommend this place for the burgers that the pulled pork tasted good.

Well J must say...This place is a definite upgrade from their previous location. I would give them a perfect 5 stars, but I still feel like I am in a steak N Shake. lol. All of my food was very tasty and just what I would expect. The Mac n' cheese could use some yellow cheese in it, but it's still great. I also tried the Wildcat dip that hit the spot just perfectly. The service was great and shout-out to Isabelle who helped us because she steered us towards the apple pie beignets that were amazing!!! Overall it was definitely in my top 2 bar-B-Que places in STL. Right alongside Sugarfire!

New location. Great service and clean. I've used them for catering too and am very impressed. I was not a fan before but now I am. If you tried the old Eureka location and were disappointed please try again

Of the many places to grab some lunch at we came here mostly because everyone in our group just wanted BBQ and some beer so JB's is what it came down to! Of the many choices here it was all about the pulled pork nachos for me as that just sounded what was good and it soo much so as it was piled with pulled pork on those circle nacho chips with that yummy fake cheese, salsa, jalapeños, and sour cream let me say that it was oh soo good as it was just exactly what it should be! My friend Anthony (Coaster Guy 101) ordered a pulled pork sandwich it came out on a pretzel bun with sidewinder fries it looked really good and he said it was really good so with both of us enjoying our lunch it was a great choice for us as well as the rest of our group! They also have Coke Freestyle machines here 3 of them to be precise so it was a nice change from the soda that can be found everywhere else in the park! JB's also accepts Dinning Pass for many of the items on their menu so definitely keep that in mind when searching for what's good in the park because you will definitely find some of that here! Overall it's BBQ inside the park and it's definitely worth a Dinning Pass credit because it's totally tasty in that Q kinda way so make your way here and you will enjoy what was good just like we did!

I love an authentic Route 66 stop, and this is certainly one of those. From the road, it's difficult to tell how big the place actually is. Once inside, it opens up and really shares its character. We went on a Thursday evening, and it was packed, but not uncomfortable. There was plenty of room for everyone. Our server was friendly and efficient, and she seemed genuinely invested in customer experiences. Our food was outstanding, and there was plenty of it! We even had room for dessert: a chocolate chip cookie and ice cream. It was the size of a dinner plate! This was an outstanding indulgence, and I can't wait to have another one, as soon as my glycemic index allows. LOL The restrooms were pretty darn rough. Urine all over the floor, overflowing trash can, filthy toilet, etc., gave the impression that it hadn't been cleaned since the Route 66 days. Here, I am not focusing on that, since it's not what we came here for. Our overall experience was fantastic and memorable. We look forward to returning to this special historic establishment.

It's just kind of dirty everywhere. Our table had that tacky feel to it. There were dirty dishes piled up in a lot of places and about 30 or so dirty glasses piled up by the bar. Our server wasn't great. We waited a few minutes before she came over and took our drink order. She never delivered our drinks to us. After a while, we realized they were just sitting on the bar. The bartender saw us looking at them and delivered them to our table. After all that, the drinks were not good. We questioned whether there was actually any alcohol in them. We were finally able to order our entrees. I wanted a pizza. I was told they weren't doing pizza, brisket, and something else that night. She said I could have flatbread instead, so I got that. I ordered it with pepperoni, pineapple (yeah, I know - but I like it), and red onion. It was not good. The sauce was bad. It has to be plain label crap from a store somewhere. The toppings were few and far between. I didn't even eat half of it and just gave up. When our server asked if I wanted a box, I said no because it wasn't good. She said, sorry - didn't ask what was wrong with it, etc. My husband ordered the Bros. Champion Burger with tots. It's a burger with pulled pork on it. His burger was way overcooked. The pulled pork seemed to be okay. He loves tots and didn't eat them. He said they tasted like they'd been cooked in oil that had been used to cook a lot of other items as well. You may think that maybe they were understaffed. I don't believe so as I saw a number of staff members standing around chatting frequently. Our server was sitting down drying silverware. We were ready to pay and get the heck out of there. We had to get another server, to go get ours because she wasn't looking around, not checking on her tables, nothing - just chilling and drying flatware. There was absolutely nothing that made us want to go back.

Then I typed in some great barbecue restaurants on Yelp, and there appeared Sawmill BBQ Pub & Grill. It looks like just a regular bar with a music stage, but don't judge a book by its cover - the food is amazing. The portions are massive and the prices are reasonable, as are the drink prices. This is definitely more of a locals joint, but definitely worth stopping in for anyone if you want some St. Louis style BBQ. The brisket platter was the best - big portions, 2 sides and 2 pieces of garlic bread. The Jalepano Mac and cheese balls are awesome, so much flavor. The salmon platter was also very tasty and fresh. The Good: The Brisket burnt ends were very good with good flavor. The service was very good and the food was delivered very quickly. But that's the extent of the good.... The Bad: The "Pork Steak Burger" was a major disappointment. It was served with nothing on the bun. No Onion...No Pickle...No lettuce...Nothing. Dry ground meat on a cheap hamburger bun. The burger did not have the flavor or moistness of a pork steak. It is pork run through a meat grinder with no seasoning added. VERY Bland...and at $7 was overpriced. I was amazed that there were NO Pork Steaks on the menu...! That is a fatal flaw that will prevent us from ever returning. The slaw was flavorless with too much vinegar and large chunks of cabbage that should have been ground or cut into smaller pieces. It was closer to a cabbage salad with vinegar dressing than traditional "slaw". My wife could not eat more than 1/4th of her serving due to the taste. The sides were substantially more expensive than the local BBQ competition. Standard sides like potato salad/beans/ slaw were all $3 for an average serving. Sides at competitive BBQ in the area are $1.89-$1.99 for better tasting food. A slab of ribs with (2) sides was $24. A slab with (3) sides at the competition is $2 cheaper. The only water they offer is bottled water for $1 a bottle. The BBQ sauce is served in bottles that have no labels. You have no idea what you are getting. They need to install a fly trap. We had pesky fly's competing with us for our meal throughout dinner. If you want excellent BBQ...Including Pork Steaks...Caledonia BBQ, Bailey Jo's in Ironton and Dexter BBQ are ALL better BBQ and more reasonably priced. When the new Sugar Fire BBQ opens in Farmington I will be surprised if Big Dick's in Farmington is still open a year from now.
