Went here about 3 days ago to check out a vehicle. I did not like the one I originally went to look at and the initial experience was great. Our sales guy was super nice and no pressure at all. He sat down and went through everything on his lot that was within my price range I wanted. That lead to 3 cars I wanted to look at. We glanced at the first one, which was nice, then proceeded to look for another one that was no where to be found, finally we get to the 3rd one. I loved it and wanted to test drive it. So off we went! Had a great test drive and wanted to work out a deal on the vehicle. We proceeded to go inside and start the paperwork! My credit isn't perfect, but definitely well beyond what a dealership would want for purchasing a car. Matter of fact I was already pre approved with Capital One for $55,000 (which I told them)!!!! So when the application is being filled out I proceeded to let the salesman know that I am currently working on some credit repair so I can purchase a house here in the next year and half or so and to only run my credit once and get an idea of what we can do with financing you offer. He said ok not a problem, we'll they ran it 4 times and even came out with the interest rate and monthly payment for the vehicle I was going to buy. So about an hour after that, me just sitting there alone bored out of my mind, the sales rep comes over and says sorry banks are closed now so we can not finish the deal tonight, but we will get it wrapped up first thing in the morning for you. Reluctantly I left. The next morning I reached out to see how the deal was coming together and make sure everything was good so I could pick up the vehicle after work and sign the docs etc. We'll, 3 hours after, a call with a voice-mail, email, and text message, I finally get a return call! Just to be told that the vehicle was sold that morning to someone online in another state!!!! 3 days later the car is still on their website as in stock and available to purchase. Also, that day I called and left a voice mail for the General Manager to contact me about my concerns and my credit being ran so many times. Still to this day have not heard back. I've tried reaching out about 5 times since this has happened an no response back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! read more

Strap in, this is going to be a long one. I bought my 2017 RX 350 about 1.5 months ago, and about 2 weeks ago, my a/c went out completely. I called to make an appointment to bring it in, and when the gentleman asked me for the phone # associated with the car, I gave him my cell number and he responded with "Ok, so is it under {my husband's name}?" I said no, it should be under my name because I bought the car. He then told me that my name was nowhere in their system whatsoever as even being a co-owner of the vehicle. It's my name on the title, I'm the one who paid for the car (with my own money, not my husband's), and it's my contact information associated with the car. Needless to say, I was very offended by the blatant sexism. This part of the story is to be continued below. When we took the car in for our appointment (which I had even received a confirmation email for), Phil, the service guy, told us that neither me nor my car was in their system whatsoever and that I didn't actually have an appointment. Regardless, he "very graciously" took us into his office where he proceeded to argue with us about the fact that my air conditioner was actually broken. When we finally took him to the car to show him we were indeed telling the truth, he told us that the eco setting, which was a huge selling point for us for the car, basically can't be used in the summer in AZ because it means the a/c will not work. Umm, what? At the conclusion of our time with Phil, he asked if there was anything else wrong with the car. I told him that the cooled seat feature also wasn't working. His response was a patronizing "umm, I'd hate to break it to you, but you don't have air conditioned seats. See, what happens is when your a/c blows out cool air, the laws of Physics make the cool air drop to the bottom of the car. When you turn on the cooled seats, it just sucks up whatever air is at the bottom of the car. So you don't have air conditioned seats." Then at the end of that rudeness, he started rambling something else and called my husband David (his name is Dan). When I corrected him and said his name is Dan, instead of a simple apology, he responded with "He told me it was David!" I said "I'm pretty sure he didn't tell you his name was David since his name is Dan" but he still had to look back at his notes to confirm that, in fact, my husband's name is NOT David. He never apologized. Now on to the conclusion of the first story. I decided it was important to let Brent, the GM of the dealership, know about the blatant sexism (as well as the incredible rudeness of his service department) so when I started telling him about the fact that the man setting my appointment told me that I wasn't listed anywhere as an owner of the car, Brent responded by saying "well, I think you must have received faulty information because we're actually HER certified! Here's our award. We're the only dealership in the country with this award so our whole team has been trained to make sure this kind of thing doesn't happen to the women we work with." Thank you for showing me your awesome paper award, Brent, but unfortunately that piece of paper doesn't make you immune to a woman with a real complaint of real sexism. He did tell me that he was going to personally look into the situation and that he would call me within 30 minutes to give me an update on both my car and the sexism issue. He did end up calling me back... about 2 hours later. He told me I could pick up my car the next day and that it would be cleaned and detailed for me upon pickup, and that he was still looking into the other issue and would let me know when he "got to the bottom of it." When I went to pick up my car the next day, it had not been washed or detailed, and on top of that, for some reason ALL of my personal information from my glovebox was sitting on my passenger seat with all of the doors unlocked. That's right, my insurance, my registration, everything. I went back in to the dealership and told them they needed to clean it before I left, so I ended up waiting another 45 minutes before my car was clean and ready to leave the lot. I drove a Jetta before this car, and the experience with the VW dealership was about 10,000 times better than this. Considering this is a luxury car, you'd think they would have their customer service on point, but I guess not. I went back and forth for a few days on whether or not I should post this review, but I genuinely believe that other women need to know how they're going to be treated post-car buy before they decide to purchase. If I could mark a negative I would definitely put a -*. During the buying process, I asked several questions several times, and each time I was ignored. It was as if I was not even talking. Then during the financial process, I was rushed even more. So sorry it was late and we were there past closing time; I offered to come back the next day, and they insisted we stay to complete the deal. If you, the dealer, are going to insist the customer stay, even when we agree to come back, let the customer leave, we will be back!! It is a common courtesy. Now, that the deal is done, they call and call and won't leave me alone and cannot get the information I need. Or the service I need completed in the time frame that will work with my work schedule. They were willing to work with me, and drove the new car to my home which really was the deal breaker, as I live far away and did not want to drive back there. I recently purchased a Lexus certified car from this dealership. I traded in my older car which needed an engine rebuild. Before purchasing the used car, I examined the interior and exterior for any major issues as well as reviewing the car fax with the sales associate. Everything looked good so I purchased the car. A few weeks later I noticed that the front bumper was detached on the passenger side and I had a huge space between the bumper and the headlight on the driver side. I brought the car in to have them look at it and was told that the damage was there prior. Now I did not see the bumper damage but all I can think of was that the dealer fixed the bumper and then the bumper popped out since it was warped from being damaged. I explained that since this damage was not reported to me they should fix it. After talking to the service associates to no avail, I eventually talked to Greg the used car manager. He finally said that he would take it in and have it fixed. After removing the bumper they discovered that the bracket that was attached to the headlight which holds the bumper was broken from the previous owner and needed to be fixed. They wanted me to pay for the headlight which was $1500! I explained to them that it was damage from the previous owner and that I should not need to pay. So they eventually repaired it but upon picking up the car after they repaired it, the gap was still there. I talked to Greg and he and I agreed that I needed a new bumper but I would be the one that would have to pay for it. He explained that he had already put too much money into the used car and at this point he is losing money. He told me that the only other option was to swap out the car with another used car that he will find for me. Now at this point I am thinking he is basically wanting me to pay more out of my pocket for another car so that he can recuperate the loss on the repairs. I have purchased 2 previous cars from this dealership and after this experience I would say that customers should be weary. The dealership is selling defective cars and once the customers finds something wrong they make them pay for it or use shady tactics to make more money like trying to get you to swap it out for another used car. I am truly disappointed and angry for the way they have treated me. Will never purchase from this dealership again. read more

I will NEVER take my car here again!!! I take it in for an oil change and all of a sudden I have a list of things on my car that need repaired.....that was done less than a year ago! I bought a brand new lexus Dec2019 and have less than 50K miles on it and have had to have my breaks replaced....all new tires put on....new windshield wiper blades...because apparently it rains in AZ so much they get worn out lol. My brakes were just replaced in August of 2021 and you tell me I need new ones already??? WOW. Just wow. New cabin air filter EVERY time I take my car in...these items all cost almost $100 for minor stuff my car DOESNT need. What because I am a female you think I am dumb enough to fall for it?? And then tell me AZ air quality is so bad...HAHA funny...I have lived out here over 20 years and have had more than one car dummy....good try tho. This place will scam you and take advantage of you. Go in for an oil change and walk out paying more than $1000 twice...on a car that has less than 50K miles?? I am not dumb......don't treat your customers like this. Just left SS Lexus a few minutes ago after wasting several hours over the last two days. Inquired last week about a CPO Lexus online and clearly stated to Rashad the limit of what I wanted to spend. He called me back yesterday to let me know that the price had dropped and that he had another car I might want to consider. I looked at the cars online and called him back. I told him if he thought we could get to my out the door price point, I would come down and drive the car. He said that we weren't far apart and he was confident that we could get the car to that dollar amount. I went in yesterday and drove the car. Rashad passed me off to Pawel, who I thoroughly enjoyed talking with as we looked at and drove the car. As expected, very nice car. Brought my wife in today to check it out and she loved it as well. Then I get handed off to the Sales Manager. He comes to me with paperwork well over $2k more than the number Rashad and I had discussed. We discuss this and he asks me if Rashad guaranteed that he could be at my number so we're now full on into the car guy numbers game. He even goes and listens to one of the three phone recordings of me and Rashad and comes back telling me I didn't specifically say I couldn't go over that number, that's just where I wanted to be, Rashad never specifically said the car could be that number, etc. but offers to meet me in the middle, still over $1,100 over my number. I tell him that he is missing the point and I'm ready to leave, agree to disagree and call it a day but he wants to convince me of all of the value I'm getting at this amazing price he offering. I tell him several times that I'm not disputing in any way what he is saying regarding the value of the car, just that I had a number I had clearly communicated, we weren't there and they've wasted my time. He continues to tell me what a great deal the car is, that I won't find a similar one near that price, etc. Again, I tell him no one is disputing that, it's just more than I want to spend and it's clear that the dollar amount I mentioned was just a starting point for them to try to sell me on the value of the CPO warranty, included maintenance, etc. to get me to pay more once I was in the store. Bottom line, it's a Lexus dealership but also a Berkshire dealership (bought from Van Tuyl) meaning that at the end of the day, it's an upscale version of the ABC Nissan car shopping experience. read more

I have a lot of GREAT things to say about SS Lexus. Of course I am a "young" customer. But I hope my great experience with them will NOT just stop here. 1. Dealership This is my first ever car. I and my girlfriend were well accommodated by Bob Atanasio. The best quality of Bob is that he listens and was really willing to meet half way. When we seal the deal, we got a lot of freebies. We both love the car. Even my girlfriend's parents, especially her dad, love it. I got a 2006 Honda Civic that actually does not look like a 12-year old car. 2. People Aside from Bob who did a very great job, I would like to give a shout out to their General Manager, Brent. You see, they called us back for a new contract. But before we signed, we pointed out to them some of the issues with the car. Brent was so willing to cover for the cost. And guess what, even after two months before I went back to have it serviced to deal with the issue of car, THEY ASKED NO PAYMENT FROM ME. NOTHING. After the car service, I WAS JUST ASKED TO WALK OUT WITH A WONDERFUL CAR. ALL READY TO GO. Their service consultant, George, is also a very cool guy. He took into consider what Brent and I previously agreed on. And setting an appointment with him was a breeze. Now, I do not really understand why would others here have issues with appointments. Maybe, they did not just follow the procedure. In fact, this was what happened. I set the appointment with Candice upon the advise of George and with the help of Bob. I went to the SS Lexus on the appointment date. They have looked into the car and I was advised to come back when the material for the repair is available. I did not have to reschedule another appointment. George only told me to give him a call to check whether their ready. Yes, I called twice on two different days and I received no response. But eventually I got a call from George one morning and in the afternoon (same day) I got my car fixed. 3. Place It is peaceful, clean, relaxing, LOTS OF COMPLIMENTARY stuff.. hahahaha. This week is my spring break. And I had to run to all my medical appointments resulting to missing some meals. Thank goodness for those donuts (i got 2), soda (Dr. Pepper), and water. I actually drove a lot farther from my house just to buy the car from these people. Will Nganje was our salesman and the reason why I did the deal with this dealership. Will is a new salesman but is incredibly honest hard-working and willing to go the extra mile for his customers! I had tried other Lexus dealerships but walked away from Lexus dealerships closer to my home feeling like I needed to shower after getting greasy salesman pitch. I too have worked in sales and nothing turns me off more than getting piched by an aggressive salesman that does not have the customers interest in mind Will was completely transparent and honest and incredibly helpful as was the management team at this dealership. We did have a couple of minor hiccups as is normal when buying something used and certified as ours was but "Will" and the management team at superstition Lexus responded in a highly professional and timely manner. Also, Chan the finance person was super polite and helpful when I called with an issue. If you're going to deal with the finance team I highly recommend her she is extremely polite, extremely professional and again doesn't give you the pushy attitude that is so common at many dealerships. I initially looked at Mercedes for my wife but with the reputation and service of Lexis I am happy that I have made the purchase from them. I hope that that Lexus dealership takes care of this young man. He is definitely an up-and-coming sales star. fantastic attitude bright and cheerful smile and willing gol way out of his way for his customers! I took my vehicle there for a safety recall correction and was told it would take a couple hours. They did give me a loaner vehicle however I had to call back three or four times to find out the status of the repair. It has continued into the weekend and still no estimate of when the repair will be completed I called the service rep and all I can get is his Voicemail which is just "this is George leave a message". The dealership is dirty and the customer care area lounge is pitiful, it looks like an old Buick dealership. Customer service is very poor and based on my observations I would not recommend this dealership to anyone seeking the quality of Lexus. read more

I have a 2016 Rx350 with nitrogen filled tires. Last Friday, the warning lights came on that all the tires were low. I had a very busy day, but stopped by Superstition Springs to have the tires topped off. They informed me that they would have to keep the car for an hour because they couldn't fill my tires without also performing a multi-point inspection. I didn't have time to wait, so I left. I called Earnhardt Lexus to make an appointment for Monday since it is near my work. They said I didn't need an appointment, just to come by when it was convenient and it would take about 5 minutes. Superstition Springs is lucky I didn't have a blow out after they refused to fill my tires. What poor customer service. I will never take my car there again for anything. They were WAY more worried about being able to charge me more money for an 'inspection' than for my safety. read more

I took my gx470 in for an oil change. I went to pay and my total was $94.17 I was in shock because last time I was in it was $74. I asked why is it so expensive? "Prices went up." They went up $20 bucks? Well, let me look. I was charged the first time for a v6 when I have a v8. Alright moving on to "recommended services" To replace my cabin air filter $79.95 WHAT? Keep in mind I'm a girl...I bought my own filter (under $20 bucks) and went on YouTube and changed it myself in less than 10 minutes. Are your filters gold plated or are you just gouging the customer? Moving on... I need my engine air filter replaced - $43.95. WHAT? I bought my own air filter (again under $20 bucks) went on YouTube and replaced it myself in 20 minutes and that's because it took me time to find the right tool. Literally 2 bolts & 4 clips. I even replaced my own turn signal light bulb today. I feel like a certified tech. Ok not really but I'm pretty proud of myself. Point of my review quit gouging the customer! read more

Instead, the operation they are running is awful. We left Superstition Springs Lexus without a car deal and drove home a few hours later with a new Lexus from a nearby dealership. I purchased my 2018 LX570 last christmas from Lexus of Chandler but went to SS Lexus because it I live closer to it.... big mistake!! 1. reported winding noise from engine compartment. The service department inspected the problem...then 3 hours later, the service advisor told me that the noise came from the AC compressor and there was nothing they can do about it. I asked the advisor if the manufacturer will replace it, and he replied that they (Lexus) will NOT; before making any attempts to check with Lexus. I asked him what could I do. His reply was "wait till it breaks, the AC is still blowing cold". WOW!!! I did not expected to hear that, especially when my vehicle is only 6 months old. 2. Might want to have janitor wipe down recycle bins in from of cashier counter, in customer lounge. 3.
