Pizza not bad but not great either. Wings were tasty and worth getting. The garlic knots were not good at all.

This was our 1st time eating here even though we have been coming to surfside for vacation for years now. As soon as you walk in it smells wonderful. We ordered several items off the menu to go and they even call you when your food is done. We had a large cheese pizza, alfredo, strumboli, calzone, garlic knots, cheesey garlic bread, lazanga, and a small Hawaiian pizza. The large cheese pizza is 16 inches. Huge and only $11.25! We had 9 people and everyone shared. We even had 3 slices of pizza, a half a pan of lasagna, and a few pieces of garlic bread left over. We will definently be back! read more

The restaurant itself is pretty tiny, we had to wait 45 minutes for a table of 9. The wait for the food after ordering took about a hour, but it's understandable bc they had a lot of takeouts also. The service was a little less than decent, nice & friendly but kept forgetting drinks and boxes and all that stuff. The pizza was very good though! We ordered the Sicilian pizza and wondered if it would be enough for two as they didn't put the size in the menu and it is only $14. Oh my gosh! It is huge! There were 16 pieces, I are two and was stuffed! You could feed 6 or more with one! And soooo good. Not heavy, the dough was light and a little crunchy on the outside. Cheese is the best quality and delicious! Wait staff treated us like family. We will definitely go again and try something else! I found this jewel on Google and because the reviews were so positive I gave it a try. Great atmosphere with super friendly staff. We had a pepperoni pizza and a cannoli. The pizza was wonderful!! Thin delish crust! The cannoli was perfectly amazing. I suggest everyone give this place a try. read more

I'm only giving them a review because the service was soo bad. I tried to call in an order for a pizza at 6pm. The phone stayed busy. So at 6:30 pm I drove the 1.5 miles no big deal. When I got there to place a to go order the restaurant was half filled but when I tried to order I was told they were no longer serving pizza! A pizza place no longer serving pizza? If I wanted pizza it would be a 2 hour wait! They weren't even nice about it. I went to Lazers instead and it was amazing. So if you don't get here before 7pm on a Saturday, go to Lazers. Amazing Italian food!! My family and I decided to get a half pan of lasagna for Thanksgiving, wonderful! It came with a huge pan of salad with house dressing. Found this place on YELP and had to try it. While on vacation the family wanted pizza so I drove to surfside to try this place out. Both pizzas were great. We got it to go but it looks like a nice little dine in place. Nothing fancy but the food is great. They also sale pizza by the slice there. read more

The food is ok. Its convenient to Surfside Beach, which makes it a natural choice. But the staff and ownership seem to have it too good. We were here last year and experienced the same stuff. Not good at taking orders over the phone as they don't answer half the time and sometimes when they do, they are rude. So like last year when they didn't answer we drove down there. They were packed and said it would be an hour. Ok. So when I mentioned to the lady that nobody would answer the phone she said, we're busy. Whatever I said after she replied, "I can either answer phones or I can make pizza". I told her that I expected that if she'd hire someone else the increased revenue from the business she's missing would pay for it. I then asked, with a smile, why if they are always so busy that pizzas take and hour and they cant answer the phone, why don't they expand to meet the demand? She replied, "We are a family owned and ran business... we don't want to". Again the food is just ok. if someone will come in right across from them and do business in a competent manner, they will rock. Then the family at Surfside Pizza might determine that they need to make changes. It seems most of their low scores come down to how they treat people. Competition is good. read more

This meal was one of the best I've had my entire vacation. The pizza was AMAZING it had that hint of sweetness that made it to die for. One of the most impressive parts of my meal was the garlic breadsticks. It had delectable little crumbles of Parmesan cheese on top and you could easily tell that it was fresh, straight from the oven. The portions were also excellent. Food was good, service was ok, bathrooms were bad, toilet seat was held on by a nut and a bolt on one side, fell off while I was dropping one and scared me... soap was yellow and had nasty green stuff on it. I was scared to wash my hands. When my sister walked out and said the females bathroom was really nice, I knew immediately something sexist was happening here. Favorite traditional pizzeria in this area. They even have personal sicilian pies. Dinners come with a nice fresh side salad and crusty Italian bread. I have never been disappointed yet. Out of this world!!! We are tourist..haha.. so we opted for the stuffed pizza. So not disappointed.... One piece and I was stuffed. Read a lot of good reviews of this place, so we thought we would give it a try. Crust had a good texture, they got the right amount of cheese on the pie, the sauce was pretty salty, and the pepperoni was over the top greasy. The overall verdict is the pizza here is not great, but not bad either. The saltiness of the sauce really was over powering of a pretty good crust and very good cheese. read more
