Walked in last night with all cash. Wife was looking at a car online that they had. So we drove from Far East Mesa. We get there and look at the car. We started it and wanted to test drive the vehicle. We were told that they needed to do some offers first before we could even test drive the car. We agreed to see what they were going to offer. They came back with 13k over the asking price. I told them that we would the car out the door for our price fully cash and they didn't even budge. We were told that they were the cheapest in town on all of their cars and yet several miles down the road is the same car for cheaper. This dealer is a rip off and doesn't care about stealing money from people. It a complete shame as I would the sales man that I would drive away with that car right now. I saw online a 2022 Ford maverick for a decent price, I called the dealer and one salesman said one price and the other one said another to my wife. We decided to go and try to buy the truck cash and when we got to dealer the salesman took us on a test ride, my wife asked about the markup in window and he said yes that was correct and there was also an additional markup due to some dam auto demand, in all that took a $28,500 truck to well above $36,500, WTF? Please we grabbed our keys and was out the door when he told us pretty much that it was take it ate leave it, and that's what we did was leave it right on the dam lot. This dealership is a scam with after market products that aren't disclosed on website or anywhere else. I even called and asked about this!!! "We are a full transparency pricing dealership." Yeah right!!!! We had agreed on a trade in price for my car over text and phone. I sent pics and all documents. Drove 3 hours to dealership! When they wrote up the first offer, the price of their car was $5000 more than what was on their website. They DID honor the trade in price they gave me over phone. (That's all they did. Keep reading) I called them out on that, and they said that they "forgot" to include the manufacture $5000 incentive. Ok ... whatever and they "fixed" it. However, when they came back, the out the door price didn't change. How does that happen you ask? Well it's that sneaky aftermarket charges that they said they do not do. These were over $5000 that magically appeared after taking off the manufacturer discount. Makes it the same price. Go figure! I said I'm not paying for aftermarket things like LoJack, paint sealant and they even had a spray in bed liner. However, the truck already came from the manufacturer with one as it was on the sticker for a charge of $595. They then came back with another out the door price reduced by a lousy $500. I said, "I told you I'm not paying for those after market items." I was told they "took it out." I said, "really??? If I calculate the price of car minus my trade plus taxes, docs fees, title and license you are $5000 over what it should be. I then asked them , "to please itemize each of the charges to show me where the number was coming from INSTEAD OF JUST WRITING A NUMBER DOWN ON A PIECE OF PAPER AND SAYING PAY THIS." Purchased a vehicle from Surprise Ford just under two months ago. The purchase process was easy, but the service side has been a nightmare. After purchasing a brand new car from the dealership, I immediately had some issues, the most major one was that my accelerator didn't catch a good amount of the time, so i'd be in the middle of an intersection and the car would just kind of stop until I hit the accelerator again. I took it into the dealership as it was under warranty and the guy at the desk was angry that we were there and wanted to wait for the car. They claimed that they tested it, but the odometer in the car did not change at all. Worst of all, I've reached out to both management and the owner of the dealership and have not heard a word back from either. I certainly understand that issues can happen with vehicles, but the fact that they're ignoring the whole situation including the actions of their staff, ensures that I'd never return nor suggest anyone purchasing or servicing from there. If I could give them 0 stars I would. This place is absolutely ridiculous. They gave me a rental car while they did warranty work on my car and told me it would be covered by Ford/Lincoln. After having my car for 10+ weeks they are now telling me I owe them over $2,000 for the rentals because their employee messed up the paperwork to get it covered. They have done absolutely nothing to rectify the issue after I have called them trying to solve it multiple times a week for the past month. They also returned my car to me with a broken windshield and did not mention it at all until I confronted them about it. Simple copy and paste response from a review from someone else. First off, that is a complete lie about becoming loud and profane. Never once did I do any of that. My mom did warn another customer about Surprise Ford and she may say some other stuff, but never once from me. This was also AFTER Dave had already told to go elsewhere. You keep bringing up about not being able to duplicate it the first time, well my paperwork says otherwise. Says the noise was slightly heard during the drive. And again when I brought the second time, I duplicated the noise right in the service for them but they still refused to even look at the truck. I bought a 2022 ford f450 from Surprise Ford and they were able to talk me into a warranty that was supposed to include oil changes for 100,000 miles ,filters, (both oil and fuel ) and tire rotations . I was promised that even diesel dually trucks were included in this warranty. I went to get my first oil change today and come to find out. I was lied to you about the tire rotations and fuel filters. When I bought the warranty, they wanted me to give them an estimate of what I thought it was worth so I gave them a figure and they were definitely willing and wanted that amount from me but I thought it was a good deal with it, including the fuel filters and th yeah right p.m. so this is no big deal it is it my guy Kinney is OK because yeah yeah yeah so about it. Yeah and I bought the NBA MMP warranty with it. Including wheel filter filter fuel filters entire rotations. well, I wasn't told that we got to do it. I do not know how this place is still in business. You would think that they would read these reviews as well as google reviews and at least attempt to get their act together. I had my vehicle serviced there one time a couple months ago. Had to argue with them when they wanted me to pay $80 for an oil change. They finally dropped it to $50, which is still overpriced, but hey, it was a weekend and had to have it done. Yesterday (Sept 9th) I call them to get a quote on a replacement of a blend door actuator on my Ford Truck. I was told that all service advisers were busy and that someone would call me back. They took my name and number, telling me that I would get a call back within an hour or so, and I still have not heard from anyone, therefore; I took my business elsewhere. Google reviews as well as reviews here and other sites show a history of this, not communicating with customers, or not calling them back when asked to do so. My rig lasted three weeks. You would think going to a "Ford" "dealership" would instill confidence. Normally, I would agree. But "Surprise Ford" is an insult to the Ford Motor Co brand (I have owned four). Do not buy from this dealership. They show no pride in their products, they do not stand behind their vehicles, or care about their reputation as a dealer. My story: I just bought a used 2007 Expedition with 90K miles. I paid FULL ASKING PRICE (without the added options) to avoid the haggle. THREE WEEKS LATER, I am back at the dealership- engine is misfiring, losing power, sputtering all the way down Bell. (My wife, kids and I were actually headed up to Flagstaff for a full week of camping- not anymore). I showed them what was going on with the vehicle today- not phased. I shouldn't need a mechanic within the first month, right? With Surprise Ford, I guess it's just a total gamble. The rig is currently in their Service dept- and, based on the reviews that I have read, here is what I think is going to happen: "Mr. Wilson, we found out what's wrong, it's a common issue with these engines, and it's going to cost you X." So at first we thought we had a good experience. I mean finance guy and finance manager were kind of pushy. It wasn't until we got home that we realized they had been shady and snuck in the paint warranty and alarm which the sales guy had said was included. When we called them put on their being shady and asked to have them removed he said he couldn't do that. Which from all my experience with Bell Honda, I know for a fact it can be removed after the fact. So just be careful when they say something is "included" because it really isn't. DON'T TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO SURPRISE FORD. THEY DO NOT HONOR FORD MAINTENANCE PLANS. When I purchased my vehicle, I also purchased the Ford Premium Maintenance Plan (an extended service plan under Ford Protect) and Ford Premium Care Extended Service Plan. I was told when I purchased these plans that they would be honored at any Ford dealership. When it came time to have my 30k service done. Surprise Ford did not honor the service plans. I had to get the service done, so I paid for it (my bad). I was confident that when I showed up with my paperwork, they would honor the plan and refund my money (again, shame on me for assuming Surprise Ford had integrity). In the end, they gave me some BS about how they don't have these plans. I contacted Ford customer service and they told me there was no reason for the plans not to be honored. I went back to the dealership where I purchased the truck and they told me the plans were linked to my account and there was no reason for the plans not to be honored. I went back to Surprise Ford and the parts director said he couldn't see any reason that the plans were not honored, but said he couldn't do anything. He would have to have the service manager take a look. Service manager had the service guy I originally delt with call and say they were not going to honor the plan. He said they called and talked to someone at Ford Corporate and were told they didn't have to honor the plan. I asked for the name of the person they spoke with and would not give out the name. I feel like I've been cheated and lied to. I plan on filing a complaint with Ford Corporate over this issue, but wanted to give everyone else a heads up on what you can expect when dealing with Surprise Ford. read more

After purchasing a brand new 2019 Platnum F350, the truck experienced 8 issues in the first 3 months. Fans, housings, electronic modules, etc etc etc has to be replaced. I had the repairs done by another dealer closer to my home who told me the truck's computer showed these issues were already present when I purchased the vehicle! Bought a 2022 F-150 XL Super Crew and paid FULL PRICE for it, mind you I bought a 2022 F-150 roughly 6 months earlier (same package, same everything) at Sanderson- I had to request from the Service Department for the Bed Cleats (Tie Offs for ropes)- the bed was had them on it before they were lined with bed liner material-failed to be put on. Well Sales Mgr fought me and said the deal was done-He wanted me to give Dealership a 5 STAR rating and I would if I can get the cleats they didn't put back on. He said they would be sent to my house- he'll Swallow the $350 (pity party). All BS, Never got them, never ever seen cleats cost $350 BTW and if so that would be Consumer cost not Dealer and where did the cleats go after they lined the truck. HORRIBLE experience. Ford had 2 open recalls for my 2012 ford focus, I took it in, they said they will have ford cover my rental vehicle because it's a recall issue, ended up having my car for roughly 11 days because I had to personally call and see if my vehicle was ready. I was told the vehicle had been ready for multiple days now (was never made aware) and that they couldn't address the recalls and proceeded to quote me $5k in repairs when the cars only worth like $1500. They then decided to not cover the rental they put me in....absolute trash experience. I ended up getting rid of my ford and got myself a brand new 2023 Hyundai Elantra, HUGE upgrade in all ways. Extremely dissatisfied with ford, I'm now stuck having to pay $900 for a rental car that I was told would be covered by ford due to recalls. I would really appreciate it if ford could keep their word and cover a recall rental when they tell me those exact words. Went through all the info gathering . The sight unseen KBB offer was 30,452.00 for my F250. I purchased my truck from Jones Ford in Wickenberg. AZ . They had there appraiser look over my truck it is in perfect shape. New tires. So I am waiting to see what the final offer for my truck was going to be. I was ready to get the F350 it was what I wanted . The sales manager comes over and says we are willing to offer you low to mid 20k for your truck. As we were looking it over it has lots of rust since it is from MT. I told them BS . I am building a home in MT and just registered my truck there last month. Told them to look at the car fax and there service records, since they have been doing all the service work. Totally a scam! I won't buy a thing or have service there. Please be careful when buying from this dealership, they are very shady and Ill explain my story. So I bought a used 2022 F250 with only 134 miles on it. I checked it out and the first initial quick look everything was fine, we did paperwork and then come to find out they didn't have a spare key nor did it have the gas cap. They gave me a key fob for me to replace myself and they took a gas cap off another truck. I start driving it and realize some interior damage, fast forward a month a shop told me my driver side door was messed up and running board on driver side. I called Surprise Ford and they assured me it was never in a car accident. Then after 2000 miles my door was coming off the truck, and my driver side front fender was coming undone. Took it to another Ford they checked it out and told me its been in an accident. Surprise Ford refused to answer this Fords calls and to call them back. I had to do the leg work and found proof that its been wrecked. Another Ford sent me the pictures of it wrecked. Told Surprise Ford and asked them how did they not know and they told me how was their service guys and detail crew were supposed to know. So seems like their guys aren't professional when the ford by me looked at it and knew. After all that they tried to sell me a new truck and obviously i would have to pay more, they refused to fix the damages because I wanted them to fix it because I put a lift on it, once I told them that they told me they will buy it back from me because its lifted and gladly throw it back on their lot knowing it was damaged. I told them no, we went back and forth. They told me im making this more difficult then it has to be and to let them buy it back. I finally said okay make me an offer and they told me its a deal i wont ever refused. They offered me 20k less than the total the truck cost plus the money I put into it. They also told me that the laws protect them for selling damaged vehicles when they are considered used. I turned them down and now just telling my story so noone else gets scammed by them. Spent over six hours working on a deal on this beautiful F150. After signing the paperwork and going out to transfer all of my stuff in it I noticed some rust while putting my hitch in the receiver so I looked underneath the truck and I was horrified at what I saw.. the underneath of this truck was completely rusted.. and mud packed in every crevice.. A 2 year old truck looked worse than a 20-30 year old truck.. This vehicle had clearly been flood damaged and should have been salvaged.. Yet they were going to sell it to me at $2k over KBB blue book... Stay away from this place!!! Not one single apology, just "No worries, we will cancel all of your paperwork" WTF?!? Went to look at a car that was priced at $12,800 online even took a screen shot of the online price and within three hours of the online price we found they raised the price of the car $3,000 dollars while we were sitting there. They blame it on a third party that changes the price of their cars whenever they want at anytime of the day. Big waist of time and would never recommend anyone to buy a car there. I bought a used Kia from George Lopez in January 2024 and had a great experience. He was very easy to work with and kind and was able to get the price down to what I wanted. Then they scheduled me for a complementary 1st service with them for May 2024. This included an oil change, filter change and tire rotation. They scheduled me for 8 am on a Tuesday. I showed up at 7:45 and Evan was able to check me in right away. I sat in the waiting room and did not receive an update from Evan until 10:15 saying that the oil filter they were going to put in was damaged so they had to go get a new one. They finished my car at 10:45 so I had waited a total of three hours. I was expecting to wait a while so the only thing I would complain about is that I had initially called the Friday before asking how long the appointment would take and they said an hour to an hour and a half. I was not expecting three hours so I wish they would have given me a better estimate at how long it would take. I am overall pretty happy with my experience with Surprise Ford. read more

After this review, I will be contacting BBB as well as corporate. I called to ask a question about a truck. They asked for my phone number in case we were disconnected. I said no, that I did not want to leave my number as it was a government line. He said OK and we continued the conversation. They told me they needed to set up an appointment which I was ok with. He then again asked for my phone number to set up an appointment, and I told him no, you can just put it in the system or you can use my email if you absolutely need something. He said email would work and he entered it in. I got an email confirmation, all was well. The next day I received a phone call from somebody to confirm my appointment and I instructed them that my number was to not be listed or called and he said there was nothing in the notes about it, he apologized, said he would delete my number and put in an notation. The next day, before my appointment time was even scheduled for, I received another another phone call asking where I was. I told them to lose my number and I hung up. This dealership does not care what you want, does not care what you ask, and will directly lie to you. This is borderline harassment at this point and I will literally drive an hour to a different dealership rather than working with this location or any other dealership owned by the same company. UPDATE: Josh S., do NOT question my competence or attempt to mislead others reading my review by stating that you only call those who have opted in or gave permission. I consider this a satisfactory 'fix' to the previous event and improved the rating. The salesman was very cooperative and pleasant to deal with and even provided the 2nd key to the vehicle purchased. He and his staff agreed with my complaint, and they went above and beyond resolving it to my satisfaction. Do not give them your phone number. They don't stop calling no matter how many time you ask them to stop I already bought a car. Definitely buyers beware they wouldn't let you walk out the door with there sales quote. They acted shady when they talked to me about the price of a car. I called and spoke with Adam the sales manager. We discussed numbers and I was quoted an out the door price and gave him all the info I was interested in, when I was ready to buy he ended up back paddling and making a mistake and gave me an out the door price for another vehicle I was not interested in. I asked for him to honor the price and he said no, and then proceeded to insult me by saying "is there even anything out there for that price" which is fine but don't say one thing and do another.
