Really amazing sushi for an affordable price! The place itself looks hole-in-the-wall and small with minimal aesthetics and 6 or so tables. But don't let that deter you. They have a lot of great offers (such as $20 for 3 select rolls and Sunday/Saturday 6pm-1am $4.99 rolls) and the quality is great in general for its price. I don't typically trust raw fish at sushi resturants, but the fish here always tastes fresh and they're generous with it unlike other places. Besides sushi rolls, I've only had their salted edamame and Japanese beers (Sapporo and Kirin), but they were yummy additions to the sushi. I've only dined-in and picked-up, so I'm not sure how they are as delivery. But with ordering and picking up, for 6 rolls, it only took 15-20min for them to complete my order and tasted fresh and great. read more

Overview: This isn't a Japanese restaurant. I should have know that with a name with a 2 in it and the word "mee" which isn't Japanese, that this place would not be authentic. I decided to trust the 4.5 stars here in Yelp and came here. Not a single Japanese person in staff and the decorations were almost non-existent. Food: It was below okay. Basically it tasted like sushi made at home while looking at the instructions online. I wouldn't say it tasted good. We got a crunchy roll, veggie rolls and chicken teriyaki. We also got some pretty terrible tea. It was ok when it was warm, but once it got cold it was undrinkable. Presentation: The sushi looks like sushi but not "let's take a picture of this food" sushi. It was not firm at all, and rice was mushy. Drinks are served in plastic cups. In other words, take out to fast food quality. The tea came in nice teapot. But it got cold really fast. Price: I would say it was priced high for the quality of the food and the experience. The tea was 3 dollars. Totally not worth it. Service: The only redeemable thing. It wasn't great service but at least the manager asked us if we liked it. It took long for us to get attention even though we were the only ones sitting. I was not served plates. I had to ask for a cup for the tea. After, finishing this review I definitely feel that my stomach didn't enjoy this food. Conclusion: wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend. read more

Unfortunately I have to update my review due to there being some changes in the management. So I ordered delivery the other night, I hadn't ordered from here in months but I really did used to love it here. I order my usual Kanisu roll which is a roll rolled in cucumber with Krab and sesame vinegar sauce. Point is the new manager is a complete jerk off. My roll came dry as hell and poorly made. I was very nice when I first called and he simply said he couldn't do anything about it no refund no sauce no new roll nothing. I called back to get his name and the lady who spoke to me was very nice offered me to bring me sauce at that point I had no appetite. So it's sad to say you're restaurant is now gonna go to sh*t. Besides it being extremely inexpensive, the sushi is really fresh and really tasty. I always do the 3 for 20. It's three specialty rolls for 20 bucks. Delivery review: Ordered the edamame which was cold but I figured this would happen because of the delivery aspect. Vegetable spring rolls were great. The tuna tarter was my favorite it was so delicious with avocado and the tuna was fresh it also comes with two sauces that i drizzled on and I'm not sure what they were but they really added an amazing taste. We also ordered the spicy tuna roll and the Jb tempura roll. I personally loved the Jb tempura roll, it not only was not overly fried but it was not as heavy as you would expect a tempura roll to be. We got the spicy tuna roll as well and I thought it was ok, my bf liked it a lot. Finally we got the cheesecake and Thai donuts both delicious. Definitely a repeat, perfect for a rainy night in. The only issue we had was delivery time which was slightly over the time expected but it was also raining so that may have had something to do with it. read more
