The Big Bang Shrimp was quite good, but the ginger salad was bland and the lettuce was yellow. The sushi was possibly the worst I have ever eaten, this includes even the seedy Asian buffets I ate in as a student. The white sashimi had an off, fishy taste and was crudely cut thick making it tougher. Sushi roll rice was overcooked and had no vinegar. Sushi 2 Mee has been across the street for me for so long and I just made the decision to try it out. Great little hole-in-the-wall Sushi in a strip mall right near FIU. Very small on the inside, probably fits about 10-15 people without waiters/waitresses running into each other. Walked in to place a to-go order and was out within 20 minutes. I would definitely recommend this as a go to spot if you're in the mood for sushi and want something relatively affordable and fast. It's also quite popular because there's Ubereats drivers constantly going in and out of this restaurant. Ordered the Miami Heat roll, Spicy Salmon Crunch roll, and the Vegetarian roll. To the General Restaurant Manager and Owner... First I want to thank you and your staff for your excellent food, preparation, and consistency. I've been a customer of yours since 2019 or even further back. I placed orders at least once or twice a week depending on my budget. This past Thursday, March 18th 2020, after eating my delicious sushi dinner with my mom, I had an allergic reaction to your food. I suffer from nut allergies (peanuts, tree nuts, all nuts). I had to rush myself (with my EpiPen in my hand) to the nearest Baptist Urgent Care to get treated for anaphylactic shock because my throat was closing. They were able to stop it or at least make it better but if they wouldn't have not been able to stop the allergic reaction, I would have had to be rushed via ambulance to the nearest Baptist Emergency Room. I am very disappointed and sad because I don't know what happened in your restaurant kitchen that day. I don't know if there was cross-contamination or you have started using a nut-based product to prepare or cook your food. I am writing you this long detailed note because I want you to please look back at that date and see what happened. I don't want this to happen to anybody else because having an food allergy that can cause you to die if you don't get Emergency Care quickly is very scary. Unfortunately as of this date you have also lost 2 customers as well. I am doing well and recovering but the side effects of the steroids that they have to give me are not fun and hard to deal with. If you want to share they have it 3 roll for $24. I decided on the the 2 rolls for $18. I choose the rock and roll and the eel and cucumber roll. The rolls were a decent size and were delicious. I'm not sure how anyone can find this even relatively good. The sushi is bland and passable. We got the rock n roll and the shrimp tempura and my girlfriend and I concluded they nearly matched in blandness, nothing extraordinary about it. 16 dollars. Unfortunately seems Mr head-chef manager has some surprises for us with the next part: The entree that I got was the chicken yakisoba. It is disgusting, a constant taste of burnt chicken with pieces of eggs all over the place. I ended up eating some of it, famished from the nearly 100 mins wait. It also happened to be the best of the two entrees, although it was like a child was learning how to cook their first yakisoba. I paid 12 dollars for that. As for my girlfriend's meal, she got the unagi don. We almost threw up after eating a bite. Mr chef manager assured me that it was fresh, but I can tell you that this eel was already in the process of returning to the earth. This ignoring the fact the seaweed salad mentioned as part of the ingredients on their menu was missing. So that was another 17 dollars down the drain; I would rather sip curdled milk than to try stomaching that again. As for the desert, the cheesecake tempura was overly sweet. 6 dollars After calling the restaurant they wanted to give a credit for my next order, trust me there will be no next order from me. Nor should there be one from you, the reader. Avoid this place as all cost. On the bright side, the head chef manager agreed to refund me for the Unagi Don due to the missing seaweed salad, I do hold hope for them. But it seems that all recent reviews are the ones to be trusted. The so called head-chef manager assured me he delighted himself with an eel sushi during his lunch. I'll let you readers make you own assumptions with that in hand. I've been to luxurious restaurant before in Canada "Le Bacara", multiple times at that and most recently during its Japanese inspired menu. So please trust me when I say I know good food, I know when I dislike food vs when food is bad. This menu should completely revised as this is an utter disgrace not only to the culinary art but to the ingredients used. I always try to finish my meals because I hate wasting food, but this time it was too much. Now, I am putting together a small meal to help power myself through my studies for an exam on Monday. Today was the first time I ate here with my boyfriend. We got here at 5:30, but had to wait until 6:00 (closed from 4:00-6:00) for them to reopen. We were immediately seated at 6:05. APPETIZER: Every time I go to a sushi place, I HAVE to get miso soup. It was $3 for a pretty good portion (not those typical black/red bowls they give you). BUT it was bland. There was also little to no tofu/seaweed. In fact, there wasn't much miso in there either. The color was obviously way lighter than it should be. Thumbs down! ROLLS: We decided to go with the Any 2 Rolls for $13 Special and got a Philly roll and a Crunchy Salmon roll which came with 10 pieces each. The last piece at the end of the Philly roll did not have any smoked salmon in it at all, so we told the waitress and she apologized and gave us two huge pieces. However, they kinda cheat. The rolls were all cut unevenly. Some of the pieces were obviously smaller than others to make the 10-piece count. We weren't full after we finished the two rolls, so we decided to get a third roll and do the Any 3 Rolls for $20 Special instead. The third one we got was the Protein Roll. It had three types of fish in it: salmon, tuna, and whitefish... I think they tasted better separate as sushi/sashimi. Also, because there was no avocado/cream cheese, it was somewhat lacking to be considered a "roll". Between the three, I preferred the Philly roll, but we were both largely underwhelmed by the food. SERVICE: Our waitress was good. She came to check on us often, took care of the Philly roll situation in a timely manner, and refilled our water at least once. VERDICT: Never coming back again. The food was NOT AUTHENTIC. There are better sushi places around Miami. read more

I've been asked by the "Yelp community" to edit my review because I didn't provide enough detail about my experience through my first message-so I decided I'd provide more detail to spare anyone who really enjoys sushi. I ordered delivery and had the volcanic dynamite roll. They separate the topping from the sushi roll which is great...because if they put it on top, you wouldn't eat the whole roll. The volcanic topping tastes fishy and old. The roll was yuck...sorry I can't be more specific. I'm glad to see the restaurant goes through their reviews; it would be beneficial if they replied to posts and asked questions to make their restaurant better. read more
