Best sushi restaurant in the area by far!! First of all, the staff here are extremely welcoming and accommodating. Always so friendly and attentive, they make it such a pleasant experience to eat here every time I come. The owners are also the absolute sweetest people. As for the food, so delicious! I genuinely have not had one bad roll or dish from here, and the owners are always recommending new things to try. The quality of the fish is VERY fresh, and even their non-sushi dishes are great. I personally really enjoy the Hot Night Roll, the Double Salmon Roll, and the gyoza. Also, the tempura ice cream is a perfect sweet treat after an amazing meal. The food was excellent. The only complaint and reason for 4 stars instead of 5. The air-conditioning was either not on or not working and made for an uncomfortable meal as we were sweating. Otherwise, the service was good and the staff really nice. read more

The best fish and service you can get in Orange County! I'm a big seafood lover and have tried so many different sushi restaurants and this is at the top of my list. The restaurant is relatively new but the fish is always fresh and the owners are always there working as the hostess and sushi chef which makes for a very warming experience. Visit this establishment based on an Instagram review for my birthday. The service is very attentive and the sushi was high quality. However, my wife does not eat fish and they had other options for people who do not like fish. My point of discontent is that the teriyaki options (chicken) is priced at $27 which is excessive for what she received. I realize that the price was not hidden; however, for $27 dollars we got a plate that at most at any other place would be $11 (on the high end). If anyone is planning on dining here and someone in the group does not eat fish, consider going somewhere else. read more

Decent food, slow service considering the amount of staff and the size of the restaurant. Every item sort of came out one by one meaning an order for chirashi came out, then significantly later came out sushi order then again significantly later our sushi combo order came out. These orders were all for different people. Also for the price it feels like everything is rather cheap feeling? The plates and bowls are all plastic it feels like I'm at a really cheap lunch spot. Nowhere ever does a bunch of options for crispy rice so I was so pleased to find out they offer more than just spicy tuna. So so good. Service was the best and it's so cute in here! Perfect ambiance. Food is good, with basic traditional sushi fare and the fish is pretty fresh. They're still getting their feet under them as they can't handle crowds yet, but the folks are very nice. Ambiance is small-town nice with a sushi bar and dining area as well. I keep going back as I don't have to walk all the way through town and across PCH now for a simple sushi meal when I don't want to walk far or don't want something fancy. We ordered tempura and the onion was undercooked so we have to ask the manager about it . But they just provider shrimp tempura instead of the mixed tempura. It was really disappointing. Also the sushi wasn't really fresh sushi. The salmon was colored and smelled fish a lot. read more

We were seated pretty quickly and while there was a small delay with our order being taken (only one person was taking orders) that was no issue. Amazing food and service every time I come! I was excited to come across this gem in Seal Beach when walking along the pier at Seal Beach! This place is mainly a spot for sushi but I loved the wide variety of appetizers and other japanese cuisine that was offered. I personally would recommend the grilled yellowtail collar from here since all of my friends and family love it! The miso ramen and teriyaki from this place is also exceptional! I loved the old japanese aesthetic this restaurant gave with all the wood interior to nice ambient lighting. This place is really aesthetic compared to most of the restaurants in seal beach. If you come across this gem I would heavily recommend just giving any roll a try as they generally are amazing! The specialty rolls are amazing from this place especially the crunch dragon toll if you are looking for something crunchy and umami!
