We had a good dinner here. The place was quite busy with folks of all ages. We sat next to a cute couple on a first date. The restaurant was also doing a lot of take out when we were there. There's parking on both the north and south sides of the restaurant. Inside, it's much larger than we thought. There's a big circular bar that was full when we came. I started with a sunomono salad with krab sticks. There were lots of cucumber slices in a sweet vinegar dressing topped with a copious amount of krab. Then I had a shrimp tempura roll. Both were very, very good. My husband had the salmon combo. He had a choice of soup or salad. He had the mixed greens salad with ginger dressing. After that, there were 3 pieces of salmon sushi plus a salmon roll. He said the fish was very fresh. We found out they have a good happy hour when seated at the bar and a lunch specials menu, as well. We said we'd definitely come back

Hands-down, the most fresh and delicious sushi I've ever had in my life. I have tried a ton of other sushi places in Delray in Boynton. Hands-down don't hold a candle to sushi Jo. You tell me the best sushi place you've ever been and I promise you will not hold a candle to the sushi Jo. Try it you will love it. Sidenote, this is a great role if you're a diabetic. No rice and my blood sugar is always consistently the same after I eat this.

Celebrated my birthday lunch at Sushi Jo with my dear friends Susan and Julie, and it was wonderful from start to finish. We ordered the coconut shrimp salad, chicken stir fry, and a sashimi box -- everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Portions were generous, and you could tell the food was made to order. The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable, making it easy to talk and catch up on life. Ana took great care of us and made our celebration feel relaxed and special. We loved it all and will definitely be back.

This is their newest location and I love the space. It's more upscale location and setup than the other locations. This location makes you feel like it's a date night location .... Which it is for us. The service this time was amazing... or favorite lady waited on us and she is always fun and stellar! Food is always fresh and delicious. Rolls are always great and drinks are always tasty. Always a go to! Plus their spicy edamame is fire

Went to my brother's house in West Palm. he is a snowflake and was down with his family and invited us for dinner. He had take out from Sushi Jo's, a small chain with 4 restaurants. We had a huge assortment of sushi and other Japanese foods including Edamame, Seaweed Salad, Avocado Roll, Eel Roll, Sashimi, Sunomono Salad, and other sushi rolls. All very good.

Their sushi never disappoints! Always super fresh and top quality. The service is quick and friendly, and the place itself has such a nice upscale vibe. Prices are a little higher than other spots, but totally worth it for the quality of fish you receive.

Amazing, as always. Took a sushi newbie and they did not disappoint! Got the newbie array to try out, basic shrimp tempura, spicy tuna roll, then went with the dancing eel roll, and finished with the deluxe JB roll. They were VERY happy and will come again! Sushi is always tasty, service is good, and consistency is key. Don't hesitate to refer friends to eat here.

We walked in and were seated immediately. This place is good for families, dates, or hanging out w friends. We had their miso soup, spicy tuna salad, and sashimi dinner. If you want fresh sushi, this is the spot for you! Service was friendly and efficient.

PS I go to lunch really late so there's more free parking. It's super popular during the lunch hour rush from noon to 1:30 but after that you can usually slide right into a parking spot!

Was there on a quiet Sunday evening with my fiancé and the service and the food was excellent! The ambiance was a little upscale (as to be expected) and again was nice and quiet... I ordered the chicken and vegetable soup, along with the California roll...while my fiancé ordered the eel roll...Will definitely return!

I'm surprised to not see more reviews. This was some of the best sushi I have had in a while. Stopped by for their speciality rolls. The food was excellent. I would highly recommend.

We decided to try this place because we were right by it and we were very hungry. Not worth it. Definitely one of the worst sushi places I've been to. The staff was rude and the tables and the plates were not clean. We ordered a crab stick salad and all the pieces were thick and not mixed. It was not a salad. It was a plate with huge chunks of cucumber, crab sticks and we added avocado to taste. There was no sauce in the salad or on the side. Super dry and not tasty at all! I got a spicy tuna hand roll and it looked unappealing. It was not pieces of tuna as it should be, it was mashed tuna and it was weird. We got the triple crown roll and we added avocado. The salmon in that roll was absolutely repulsive! It tasted like soap! The only thing that was edible was the tempura banana cheesecake and the vegetable stir fry with brown rice and chicken. They were not good but they were edible. Do not recommend this place at all.

Came by Sushi Jo for a friend's birthday dinner. It's located in a little strip mall at the corner of Belvedere & Dixie. I was the only person that hasn't been here before. Friendly staff greetings as we entered, we came in on the early side of dinner time, there was no wait and were seated immediately. Large menu with plenty of selections, placed our drink orders and we were off deciding what to get etc. We started off with a few apps: Vegetable Spring rolls(fried) and Pork Shumai(steamed). Both were really good! Don't make the blunder and rookie move I did, the steamed shumai are really hot, don't pop the entire thing in your mouth or you'll suffer the consequences. But other than that, great way to start off our meal. I was point-man to relay our order to our waitress. We ordered like 5 different rolls. See photos. -Spider Roll, Rainbow Roll, Hawaiian Roll, Dancing Eel Roll, Tsunami Roll. All were very good, enjoyed each roll very much! The rolls were nicely rolled up, didn't fall apart, all was fresh, creative rolls, satisfied. We almost couldn't kill it, there was a lot of food, a little stretch to the waist band, we were able to finish everything! One bummer part of dinner, we asked if the birthday girl could have our sushi rolls be served on a sushi boat, because who doesn't want that?!? Unfortunately, they said no. They only serve the sushi boat for catering orders. We noticed a few other tables were served on a wood board, we asked if it could be served on that but they didn't and just laughed at that request. Whatever. Price for a sushi dinner is what we expected, staff was mostly fine, place definitely got busier as we were about to leave. Overall, we enjoyed the meal and I would consider coming back.

The food is good but not great. A little pricey but I get it because of the "area" that it is located.

My favorite was probably the Sangria. Service was fast but our waitress was not attentive at all and I felt like she was constantly trying to get away. We sat outside and that was nice. I would definitely come back and especially for the happy hour!

The Pad Thai was a complete mess -- soggy, clumped noodles with no balance of flavor. There was no proper tang, no depth, and no freshness. It tasted flat, heavy, and greasy. Medium spicy was nonexistent -- there was zero heat and zero character. The steamed chicken was the worst part. It was pale, rubbery, and had an unpleasant smell and texture. "Steamed" should mean clean, moist, and simple -- this was none of those things. It tasted old and unappetizing, and I couldn't eat more than a bite. For a dish that's a Thai staple, this was shockingly bad. Pad Thai is not complicated -- when it's done right, it's comforting and balanced. This was bland, greasy, and poorly prepared. I don't leave reviews lightly, but this meal was disgusting, and I won't be ordering again.
